I always forget about ACE hardware, but I drove past it on Dorchester yesterday and saw their mannequin outside holding a sign that said «firewood». It creeped me out a bit, but then as I got closer and saw what it was– I laughed.
I stopped in for exactly what they had advertised– firewood. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately helped. A kind younger gentleman showed me where the firewood was and advised me of the price when I asked. I paid for my two bundles and he loaded it in my car– without me even asking for help. So polite.
The cashier I worked with was also very polite. I will probably continue to go here for my housing needs– I saw they had a very large paint selection and it seemed a tad cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe’s.
