Walked in to purchase contacts following an appointment with the optometrist located inside Target. Waited for 25 minutes while the employee had a personal conversation with another customer without even batting an eye at me. After realizing this conversation was not going to end anytime soon, I got up and took my business somewhere else.

I had THEBEST experience with David today! I was confused about my insurance policy, my prescription for contacts was stuck at a Walmart in Benbrook, and I needed lenses like, yesterday. David helped me get my prescription transferred, figure out options in my insurance(as well as a 20% Geico policy holders discount!), and at the end of it all when I expressed disappointment that they didn’t have the quantity of lenses in stock that I needed, David gave me a trial pair to hold me over until my free-shipping order arrives! THANKYOU, DAVID! One less thing for me to worry about on my way out of town.

The customer service is way below par. They do not know how to communicate effectively. I had to repeat myself multiple times on the phone before she told me that the service was cutting in and out. Additionally, they have times listed for their service but will step out to lunch whenever they want. Not a place if your looking for convenience and predictable hours. The opticians office is very difficult to speak with and they were insensitive. I was name-called, defined as rude and hung up on! I had to make sure all the information was being taken because they didn’t seem to have any protocol to reassure me that they had the prescription and it was faxed to the right place. Very horrible place and impolite people. Don’t spend your time here, because you’ll be wasting it!

We have come here multiple times and they always appear to be short staffed. Today we sat while the MANAGER sat with a client for about forty-five minutes helping the client decid if he wanted to spend the extra money for this feature versus that feature on his glasses. The client was also trying to wheel and deal a better price on the upgrades, and we had the joy of hearing that whole exchange too. 45 minutes of this… I sat with another lady waiting, watching the manager take his sweet time(I figured they would do the same with us so I waited patiently). At noon a second clerk FINALLY arrived, and I’m thinking NOW we will get some service. A lady walked in just as he did said she was there for contacts and he sat down with her instead of attending to the two of us who had been waiting forever. He was told twice that ‘these two ladies have been waiting’ yet he completely ignored that and helped this new lady who walked in with him. I will never come back — TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICEANDNOCOMMONSENSESTAFF. I would call the manager to complain. But he witnessed the whole thing — plus he sat with his guy forever when he could have let him make decisions while getting the lady with me her order. Awful experience.

Absolutely love this place. My husband and I have used other target opticals in the past and have always left unsatisfied and disappointed. We both went to this location today and were very surprised at how polite and friendly the staff is. The lady at the front desk played with my busy toddler the entire time we were there, the doctor was super friendly but also professional. The two gentlemen in the vision center itself were very helpful and easy to work with.
