Loco Moco is at $ 7.75 now and the gravy was bland. The ham and egg sandwich was pretty good due to its portion and prices at $ 4.50.(Better than the LM).

When I was a child, this place was called Lilly’s. They are located in an old building in the park, next to the tennis court. There are no signs. This place has been a local favorite for generations. They have hearty Hawaiian dishes and they give you generous portions. Food for the soul.

Hungry and tight budget driving around south end of island?(why is that always me??) This is the affordable local plate lunch place to eat in Naalehu. It’s NOT right on the highway, it’s tucked behind the backstop of the baseball field, in the baseball field parking lot. If you didn’t live in Naalehu you would never notice it on your own until someone pointed it out to you. You can get hamburgers for $ 3, loco moco $ 5 etc. Hours are limited, 6 days a week(closed Mondays) 7 am to 2 pm.
