I moved away from Nacogdoches 8 years ago and this used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I sadly can no longer say that. I am assuming due to Chic Fil a and Raising Canes moving in, this place has too much competition and quite frankly, due to health reasons, should probably be shut down. The food was all hot and cooked when we ordered it(minus the chicken strips) but the restaurant is filthy. No ice but plenty of green slime on the ice dispenser. Sticky walls, dirty bathrooms, dirty booths. My plate had a small black, coarse facial hair on it that I removed before consuming. Since it wasn’t on the actual food I avoided that area instead of returning the food, who knows what I would have gotten the next go-round.

I got some fried pickles from Chicken E and they forgot one important ingredient. the batter. I might as well been eating pickles straight from the jar.

Everything was way over salted. chicken strips and gravy were pretty good except for the excess salt.
