Long explanation, but definitely worth the read if you plan on eating here(JUSTDON’T EATHERE). I gave it 1 star because it does not allow me to give 0. I don’t want to be so harsh, but they have left me no choice. It’s also disappointing because they have decent food. I have had a few unfortunate experiences with this place previously, but never bad enough to stop eating there. Last night was more than I can handle. I used their online ordering system thinking it was very convenient, it was anything but. I completed my order and got an email confirmation at 5:15 pm exactly. I ordered 5 dishes with the sides as it asked me to choose. 3 with steamed rice(the choices were steamed rice for free or fried rice for added fee) and 2 vegetable chow mein(the choices were steamed rice or veggie chow mein, both for free). My total was approximately $ 50 after tax and delivery fee. At 6:10 I received a phone call that they have just received my order(55 minutes after I received confirmation stating it would be delivered in 30 – 45 mins). She was calling to confirm my order. I explained that I was surprised because I ordered online an hour ago. She responded by saying«well I just got the order in the fax machine so I’m confirming it.» Disappointed, I confirmed the order and added soup. She gave me new total of approximately $ 53 which sounds right because the soup is approximately $ 3.She told me the food would be delivered in 30 – 45 mins. I sighed and«said ok.» At 7:10 I called back to ask where the food was(I have children and they were starving because we expected to be eating by 6 as originally stated in the confirmation) and she said«the driver left an hour ago, but he had 4 other deliveries as well as yours.» I then explained that we have now waited since 5:15 for the food and I have hungry children. I asked what they would do for us for next time as we had such an issue and she very rudely said«well the driver is on the way, but you can call next week and talk to the manager if you want. I don’t know when she will be in, the schedule is not posted.» I agreed that I would call back next week and continue waiting for the food. Finally, another 15 minutes later, the delivery driver showed up. When we started unpacking the food I noticed there was only 4 dishes and it was cold. I called her back to let her know that there was a dish missing. Mind you, I was calm and cool every time. She then proceeded to tell me that the missing dish was not included and she did not charge me for it. I told her«my total went up by around $ 3 which is the cost of the soup I added, so how is that my total, but you didn’t charge me for the missing dish?» She started reading everything off and the prices and then made up a ridiculous lie. She said«the chow mein sides are $ 4 each and that’s why the total equaled what it did.» First of all, it said free $ 0 added online so that’s why I chose it and she confirmed that dish when she called the first time. Second, the $ 4 chow mein is a small box like the rice sides they give. She lied and and was very rude, insinuating that I was being not right for complaining at all. I told her that I would be posting a review and disputing the charges with the credit card company. I advise eating somewhere else unless you want to wait almost 2.5 hours for cold food and part of your order missing. Only to be belittled and spoken to like you are put of line and given the attitude a teenager would give his/her parents whom they are mad at. Go to Panda Express, better to eat fake Chinese food than deal with these atrocious people.

Any restaurant that calls itself a Chinese restaurant and then serves dished like Egg Foo Yung or Chow Mein… is NOT a Chinese restaurant. I will not frequent any restaurant that calls itself a Chinese restaurant and then serves these dishes that are NOT Chinese dishes. I also don’t frequent Chinese restaurants that charge for hot tea and the one and only time I visited this FASTFOOD restaurant(with very poor atmosphere) I attempted to order some Kung Pao Chicken & hot tea but I was told the hot tea would be some ridiculous price so I told them to forget about it altogether.

Waited over half an hour for bland, mediocre food. And I was the only customer in the place… at Lunch time. Now I know why. A couple walked in off the street 15 min after I ordered, and ordered theirs to go. They were out the door 10 min later and I was still waiting. When I complained, the person at the counter said the chicken for my dish had to be grilled, so it took longer. Really? To grill a super thin, 1⁄8th inch piece of chicken and slice it into strips takes 30 min? Anyway…waited too long for lousy food.

My partner and I picked up food to go, I had the pork chow mein and my partner had the Lemon chicken. We also got a side of the crab rangoon and two strawberry bubble tea. The pork chow mein was wonderful, lots flavor. I also had some of the lemon chicken, it was good but on the dry side. The crab Rangoon’s where very good, best that I have had in a long time. The strawberry bubble teas on the other hand where gross. They tasted like water downed Pepto-Bismol with chunks of old tapioca in it. Not worth the 5.30. Save your money in that one. Overall food was good, spent 23.40. When I go back I will be skipping the bubble tea.

The food at Chung Hing earns them most of their 4 stars. With a few small changes to their service and atmosphere this restaurant could be doing much better. I hate to see them struggle as their food is Phenominal. The interior feels dirty and run down. There is very light signage outside. The service is nice but unprofessional. Make a few changes and keep cooking great. I want you guys to stick around!!!

We did takeout, four dinner entrees, and we have enough for three lunches left! And the price is right. Each entrée had its own flavor, no generic MSG Chinese taste. The beef with snowpeas was my favorite of all. I would go here before other nampa chinese. UPDATE: we got the lemon chicken tonight, it was NOTGOOD. Super dry, splintery, even with the sauce. The rest of the meal was good though. Hunane tofu was delish.

Waited about 40 minutes for my food after ordering. Atmosphere is cramped and unappealing.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Idaho. Coming from San Francisco I set the bar high, very surprised to say the least. Relatively large portions and very authentic!

I visited Chung Hing for the very first time and i must say I was impressed with most of there food. The owner makes everything homemade. My dining companion and I ordered a bunch of different items for takeout. The Mongolian beef was outstanding. The beef was tender and sauteed up with onions, then piled on top of small little noodles that soaked up the juices. The spicy Mandarin Chicken and the chow mein with pan fried noodles were both great. The chicken was sweet with just a little heat. The mandarin sauce was really good. One of the better one’s i have tried. The chow mein had a nice mix of vegetables and tasted great. This was the first time that i have ever tried cashew chicken, i wasn’t impressed. Some people may enjoy it but it’s not something i would ever order again. The crab ragoons and pot stickers both tasted good and you can tell they are homemade. I would definitely order the crab ragoons again. The one thing i can live without is there fried rice. It reminds me of Panda Express fried rice so if you like there’s, then you will like Chung Hings. If you are in the area i would recommend giving them a chance.

Food was decent, but I waited for an hour for my food. Place wasn’t even busy. Not worth the wait, I will not be back.

The only decent Chinese restaurants in Nampa. But they need to adjust their prices & make sure that the restaurant is clean.

This place is exactly what I expecte from a Nampa Chinese joint. Unremarkable but good food. This fast food restaurant is located in a strip mall and requires you to order at the counter. It kind of had a wierd vibe to it. The owners were clearly Chinese but the waitstaff were local fare. Not bad overall but not worth driving out of your way

Very friendly and fast service. We had our waters refilled and was attentively tended too — very unusual for fast Chinese. The food was hot and tasty.

If you want something that is closer to real Chinese food in Nampa(not Americanized Hong Kong or Quick Wok), this is it. It’s always busy because it’s tucked away in the corner of the Edwards movie theater parking lot off of Cassia. You can drive around the back of the theater and park in the lot next to the restaurant for better access. I highly recommend the shrimp and snow peas. Is it the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted? No. But when I need a Chinese food fix this is the place I prefer to go.

This is one of the better fast food Chinese, especially in Nampa, Idaho area. The price was good too and it is next to the Edward’s movie theater so if you like Chinese and in the area, I recommend you to try it at least onece. I liked Chung Hing Fried noodle.

Great carry out or eat in. I think they have the best General’s Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup in Canyon County!
