Great food, good service awesome prices. Every weekday they have a $ 5 or less special that includes a drink(soda too) My daughter got a blueberry pancakes and I got the breakfast special. 2 eggs toast and hashbrowns. The hash browns are the type like mcdonalds but bigger. I added a side of sausage gray. We ate for under $ 10.

Curtin’s Flamingo Diner is a classic American diner, which is open daily 6 am to 2:30 pm serving breakfast and lunch. This diner has that local feel, which has tiled flooring, a long lunch counter with black cushioned stools and table seating along the front windows and side wall. There are 2 flatscreen TVs above the lunch counter area, a «Mark Martin Blvd» sign above the kitchen opening, and a couple arcade games at the far end of the diner. Several days ago, a movie scene for the upcoming film AWOL was shot here inside this diner. As for the food, the breakfast offerings include egg dishes, 3 egg omelettes(with home fries or hash browns, & toast), pancakes(plain, peach, blueberry, apple butter, peanut butter, chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin, butterscotch, strawberry-seasonal), French toast, bagels, breakfast burritos, corned beef hash, sausage gravy, creamed dried beef, oatmeal and sides. The lunch offerings include sandwiches, hoagies, burgers and jumbo hot dogs served with chips & pickle(add $ 1 more for fresh cut fries), plus salads and soups. RC fountain drinks served here. The prices here are pretty reasonable, most prices range from $ 1.99(1 egg & toast) to $ 7.95(jumbo cheeseburger with chips & pickle). Weekday daily specials are offered here for breakfast and lunch($ 3.95-$ 4.75) served with coffee, soda, or tea, milk or juice add $ 0.50. Specials are posted on the big blackboard. While on a long road trip driving along US11 through Nanticoke in snowy conditions, I stopped for a light breakfast at Curtin’s Flamingo Diner. I sat myself at an open table and the waitress promptly arrived with a menu and took my drink order. For breakfast, I ordered a Breakfast Burrito($ 4.25 plus tax), which had scrambled eggs, sausage(cut pieces of a link), peppers, onions, & melted cheese in a grilled tortilla, topped with chunky medium salsa. This breakfast burrito was not fancy and tasted pretty good and enough food to keep me going for several hours before my next meal stop in NY. The service here was good, prompt and friendly.
