R Bar & Grill

All I can say is… This place is on point. The servers and bar staff are always happy, excellent at suggesting and explaining. The wings are WOW… The drinks are well thought out, and different. There is definitely something for everyone. Great energy, and the place is pretty cool inside! The only downside, is they are 30 miles away a from me!

We’ve been here once for the wings. They have a big selection of flavors, but wasn’t impressed. Will try again some day.

We’ve been here several times and I always thought the food was good. Kind of a low-​key, fun vibe atmosphere. We always sit at the pub tables in the bar area. We love the variety of sauces for the wings and always experiment with different ones each time we go.
Maybe we were never paying attention before, but on our last trip… we popped in for a quick meal. We ordered waffle fries, 12 wings, boneless chicken bites, one lager, and one miller lite. Our bill was $ 33 and $ 40 with tip. For chicken wings! Seriously, this place is over-​priced and unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. Stick a fork in me, I’m done.

Everyone says these are the best wings in town but I beg to differ. Not bad, just not as great as I’ve had. Service was fine, waitress was nice. Got a fish bowl but it wasn’t really that great either. Honestly I came here expecting a lot but left feeling pretty sub-​par about the place. I’d rather go to dukeys or tommy boys for wings but that’s just a personal opinion.

Apple sangria was a HUGE hit with our crowd. 4 out of the 5 of us went with the create your own cheese steak. You get to pick your own toppings and cheese so it’s made just the way you like it.
The Iron Cowboy hamburger was a good for the rest of our party except it needs Bbq sauce or just an extra something to take it from good to great. And, they didn’t have any of the beers that I tried to order so hence the four star rating.
The service was excellent! We were taken care of by Briana, she did a great job and she was delightful. We would definitely come back to this place.

Went to R Bar & Grill on wing night last week, and I’m so glad I did! Now I understand why this place gets all the hype… because it’s deserving! The featured wing was Cinnamon French Toast and man, I hope that one shows up on the regular menu, because those alone are worth the drive! Also had the hot (which were HOT) and the peach BBQ wings. Very saucy but perfectly cooked and delish! $ 3.50 long island iced teas and very reasonable bottled beer prices will keep us coming back for more. Keep up the great work, R Bar!

They make the best burgers I’ve ever had! Everything from the food to the drinks to the service are awesome! Their new location gets packed so if you have a group make reservations ahead of time! Highly recommended!

While visiting family my brother was having a serious chicken wing craving so he suggested we try the R-​Bar because he heard good things about it. Man am I glad we went! We arrived around 4:15pm and were quickly seated. Less than a minute later our waitress arrived, took our drink order explained the special then went to get our drinks. Several minutes later she returned with our cold beers and asked for our order. With over 70 types of sauces the selection process was daunting! We were at a loss other than knowing we wanted some spicy, non spicy wings and 30 of them. (Luckily you can order more than one type). Unable to decide we asked her which was her favorite spicy sauce and she suggested Jalapeño Ranch or was it Ranch Jalapeño? Whatever. In addition we ordered the nightly special sauce, some type of BBQ with brown sugar. Sorry I can’t remember. Anyway both were Fantastic! Seriously!
Since my bro and I we’re hankering for som serious burn and found the Jalapeño Ranch to be not remotely spicy enough we asked our waitress for something spicer. She returned with a cup of this red sauce concoction that was just fabulous! Dipping our wings in this delicious fire sauce made the wings even better and yet we were still not satisfied. So we requested a cup of their hottest sauce, which by the way contains the dreaded Ghost Chili.
As we gobbled down several wings each, dipping our wings in this brown death sauce, my bro and I both remarking, «it could be hotter». You know there’s a funny thing about ghost chili, it doesn’t hit you right away, rather it sneaks up on you. Soon everything it comes in contact with goes from warm to eye tearing to lost my voice oh Jesus please stop the burning and I’ll never eat it again hot. Which is exactly what we were after! Not only was this sauce punishing it also had great flavor! And that’s hard to do!
FYI: this place filled up quick!!! We arrived 15 minutes after it opened and it was already half full! They take reservations and I suggest doing so.
Next time I’m in Nanticoke you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll visit the R-​Bar again!

Flew in from out of town — Denver, Colorado. This place is amazing! Great food! The wings are awesome — they have over 60 flavors. It’s ridiculous!!! The flavors I had were Hot, Cucumber Wasabi, Mango Habanero, and Sweet Chili Blue Cheese. My favorite was the Mango Habanero — sweet heat! But all of them were fantastic! :-) The service was more than great and I got here when the pumpkin beers are still hopping. Our waitress, Lindsey, was extremely helpful and pleasant. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to this area.

Heard about The R Bar but never got around to going there until a friend visiting from CT said he was in the mood for wings and we decided to stop by. I cannot say enough about this place. The place was packed yet the bartender/​waitress still made time to make sure we were made to feel as though we were regulars. The wing selection is crazy… like 60 different sauces. We split the orders and went with Caribbean Jerk, Teriyaki, Creamy Bacon Horseradish, and Sweet Chili Blue Cheese. OMG! The wings were wonderful and the Sweet Chili Blue Cheese (recommended by the bartender… Lauren) was to die for. If you’re in the mood for some great and unique flavored wings, I highly recommend stopping by The R Bar.

Love all of the bartenders, love the wings! Hate that its not big enough on the inside, love the fish bowls! All good things outweigh the one bad ;-)

Sweet Mary mother of Jesus! These are the biggest, boldest wings I’ve ever had! I love them! My family and I tried a whole variety of flavors. So many delicious choices: chocolate bacon, vinegar, ranch… and the classics, of course. The bacon cheeseburger I ate was one of the best I’ve ever had too. My cousin had a pumpkin cocktail in a fishbowl; holy crap it was delicious! The beer choices and other menu items were abundant and tasty, according to my crew. I can’t wait to get back! I wish they had longer hours!

Neighborhood bar with typical bar fare. Wings and burgers are good. Friendly staff. A nice place to go, a bit loud though!!!
