I called asking if they had a pair of rainboots in my size. They said no, came in anyway and they were right there in my size… Came in on a sunday(bergen county is closed on sundays) so its usually very busy at this location on sundays, they had three people working the register and i waited on line for thirty minutes to buy the rainboots they claim they didnt have.

Dirty store, things are always a mess! None of the employees care about their customers. You should expect to wait in LONG lines EVERY time you go! NEVER enough registers open!

Most of employees there are unfriendly. The female manager(she’s usually at cashier #1) is so loud, rude and dresses crazily.

I would never go to this store again. Dirty, filthy place. Displays with tons of dust on top, mixed items on the display –very hard to find anything. Unfriendly staff, terrible customer service.

Dirty-disgusting bathroom without toilet paper; the store is ill-organized with poor customer service. I waited in long line twice to exchange a set of sheets; the worst Marshall’s location I’ve ever shopped!

I have very bad experience with that location. I visit that store on January 8th, trying to exchange tie which I purchased for the X-mas gift. Unfortunately they sold me tie with the stain on it… so I couldn’t use as a gift. I did not look for my receipt because I decide to exchange this tie for stainless and use for myself. Store very poorly organized so took me very long time to find replacement. Took me 38 minutes to get to the register since only two was open. Clark very unpleasant with attitude told me that I cannot exchange anything without driving license. Assistant manager. another unhappy person in that store… was not sure, so he brought G. Manager. She start huge fight with me. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was never treated that bad in any store before. She was very rude… yelling on me in the front of other customers. They have really management problem in that store. She said first that she have to have my driving license to process that exchange.(she said– that is system requirement)…big BS. Then she said that is the store policy… another BS Well… she change the«store policy» …she said… any photo ID will be fine. The problem was I left my wallet at home, no any type of ID on me. I offered to give her my license ID number and expiration I remember this by heart. She refused, she said she have to see my ID. Once again she change the«store policy» This time any sort of ID will be fine. Again… she didn’t have to have this information to process my exchange. She just tried to show me who’s the boss, try to put me in the right spot. I was just ready to leave when other customers seeing nonsense of this situation start supporting me with their opinion and comments. One man came close to us gave the manager(by the title unfortunately) his ID and said: why don’t you use my ID to process his exchange. The«store policy» was changed again. She exchanged my purchase on somebody’s ID… as I said before… big BS They lost another customer, I cannot imagine how you can get good service in this store if the management is so poorly training. They are really remind me Caldor, and Bradlees and they are on the way to meet them.

Another Marshalls visit for me. I love these places. I have been coming to this one perhaps once a year for 20 years, I only stop in when passing by during open hours, which is… about once a year. Well, they have reorganized it, and I imagine revamped it as well. So much nicer. Better light. Better organization. Just better. Sadly parking is still is nightmare at this one, they can’t help it, its a busy strip mall, but I wish the parking were better and easier. The parking lot is one of those with really small spaces, so cars all dent each other with doors if they are not careful. I enjoy my visits more these days than in the past and will make a point of stopping by more often as a result.
