I do the pick-up thing via PeaPod(not delivery). I have to say so far, so good. It’s totally free, that’s the best part. Shop Rite charges you, even if you pick your groceries up. The problem with PeaPod is if you want, say, organic strawberries, it seems they may have them in stock when you order them, but because you have to wait at least 24hours before you can pick up your order, they may be all sold out by the time someone in the store gets your order together(especially if you shop on the weekend). That’s super annoying. If I place an order for organic strawberries NOW, please put them aside for me NOW, and not tomorrow, 10 minutes before I pick up my order — when there’s likely to be none left. Having to wait until the next day to pick up my order is pretty darn annoying, too. I forgot to place my order before 4 pm today. Now I can’t pick it up until Sunday! WTF? I have 2 toddlers, so I sure are heck am not dragging them to the store with me, otherwise I’d do the shopping myself. Why it takes so long to put my order together is beyond me. I should at least be able to pick up my order tomorrow night, but now it’s pushed back to Sunday. Makes no sense.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Nyack, NY
So much nicer than the Stop & Shop in West Nyack. The Natural Food section is quite decent and has its own entrance at the far end of the parking lot. This chain is nothing fancy, but far more navigable than the ‘trainwreck’ of a Pathmark up the street. The store is clean and well staffed. My one concern with Stop & Shop(both locations) is the extra attention I need to give to the prices on the shelf and the prices at the register. I frequently find disparities(always to the detriment of the customer) between the two costs. I think this is more poor management than some grand conspiracy. Just keep an eye out and save yourself some money(I saved myself $ 4.99 on one item today by watching at the register).
