This place is a total rip off! Why would anyone want to pay a ton of money for action figures that are even twenty years old. I can bet you still find most of these figures still in the package in every adult collector’s place of living or in every scalper’s storage unit, basement, attic or garage! After reading and listening to several reviews on message boards, websites, and videos I will not buy from Toywiz again after getting ripped off once!

I made a quick stop here to look for a Pokemon deck box for my son. They had them at a reasonable price. When I walked in the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Nobody seemed put off and took the time to look under the counter for the Pokemon Flashfires deck box I was looking for even though I was not ready do buy it at the time. They also offered to look at my old collection of MTG cards I no longer use. I will be bringing back select cards to see what I could get for them. Overall a nice experience.

I was just in this store. Looked around for a minute. I then asked the clerk, who was his phone at the time, «you guys don’t have any Turtles stuff?» To which he replied, without looking from his phone«Nope.» As if he couldn’t have been bothered with me. I will never be back to this store and will never spend any of my money here. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Nice size store, not cluttered at all. I stopped in because there were a few books I wanted to get and wasn’t going to be by my local shop. They had everything I wanted. The new books are prominently displayed, with the older stuff of shelves just behind. They had a good assortment of trades and hard covers. It seems like this place is more into games though. I’d guess Magic and such as well as board games. There was a back area that had tables and a few people were playing. There really wasn’t too much customer service. No greeting as I walked in. Nobody asked if I needed anything. Also, the most I got was a have a nice day as I left. Not huge deal, but I didn’t really feel all that welcome. The place is a good substitute if I’m in the area though.

whoa, ftr! Ok, so nerdz, here is the dealio. MTG! and PINBALL! they got it all, lots of oop packs, ftv and a bunch of other nerdstuffs, if you didnt understand that, well, just keep moving on. anyway, i saw them for the first time during a trip to spring valley, they claim they have been in this place for 3 years, i doubt it as I would have noticed a storefront like this, but hey, i could be wrong. did i mention pinball? pristine machines with good action, they even had a few other uprights, but those arent my thing. also lots of gaming space in the back for tournies and the like. my issue? price, wholly $ signs batman! everything was expensive, i mean you can find it for way less on line, no doubt, but when the itch is there, you gotta scratch it. even the pinball was 50 cents a game, i know, petty, but it adds up. you gotta make you money somehow. also, they were selling 1987 topps waxpacks, for 5 bucks a pack! the whole set isnt worth 5 bucks, love it! oh and the staff were very despondent, like zombies, no one said hi to me or acknowledged my presence while i was browsing. so other than the price, this place had it all, and i would go back.
I really want to dig Toy Wiz. I mean its a full blown nerdling hatchery. However, as commented elsewhere, the prices are INSANE. In a bad way. I mean use Tcgplayer or starcitygames or ebay pricing for your MTG. If not, its like shopping at a museum as in nothing is affordable unless you are Richie Rich. Some of the staff are helpful. They run lots of events. They have comic books, action figures, and collectible card games. I always try to stop by to window shop on my way into the Garden state.
