Athletic Feat

This was my first time shopping at a Running Shoe specialty store and I left thinking to myself why didn’t I come here sooner? I came in at about 3pm and it wasn’t very busy. Richard was a great guy who was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He let me try 4 different pairs of shoes so that I could feel the differences between them. I’ve had quite a bit of wear and tear on my knees over the years as a former Infantryman so I ended up buying a pair of HOKA ONE ONE shoes for an upcoming Napa Turkey Trot (Run for Renfrow) Race. The HOKA’s were great my knees and legs felt better than they ever have after a good run, but there was one problem. I got a blister on the arch of my foot, so I brought them back to Athletic Feat to see if we could figure out what the issue was.
Freshly blistered from the run, Gio helped me on my 2^nd visit and he had me try on different insoles and offered to replace the shoe because of a possible defect. He was very accommodating and genuinely wanted to help. Instead I tried on a different HOKA model that ended up fitting my foot better and I was refunded the difference. Bottom line, this store provides top notch no fuss service. Their staff is truly passionate about what they do and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My girlfriend recommended i find a pair of running shoes as we are training for the Urbanathalon in SF. I am a very particular kind of guy and i can’t stand pushy sales people. You aren’t gonna find that at this store. Richard is a class act! Very knowledgable and very helpful. I got the best pair of running shoes I’ve every owned. I got 5 star service and can’t thank Richard enough for the awesome experience. This store Rocks!!!

Once upon a time, I was a runner, distance was my thing. Now I look for running shoes that work on hikes or the basketball court that give great support, adequate shock absorption, balance in suppenation, comfort and venting, not just the latest bling or soon to be forgotten fad for my feet. I also have big and very wide feet, so fitting and finding shoes is hard. But every time I have been in and bought shoes here it has been a total success. They will order a variety of sizes if not in stock or different color way if you want. They know shoes and all are athletes, runners and have a deeper understanding of biomechanics than the mall athletic shoe store staff for sure! They have specialty shoes and a variety of socks that no other shops in town have. They also sell the «stick», a dual hand grip muscle roller that is great for working out knots and sore muscles that allow you total control of therapeutic pressure. They also sponsor fun and serious run events for all ages and support local school track teams! Great people, independent shop who cares and knows what customer service is!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have bought three pairs of shoes here. They take the time to make sure you get what is right for you. A great local business run by local people.

I couldn’t find a particular running shoe anywhere. I had in mind a specific brand, size, and color. Since it was an older model it wasn’t carried in stores, but I couldn’t find it online either. I stopped by the store and vented my frustration to them. They responded by looking for me and voila! They were able to order my shoe. I was absolutely delighted. The shoe was shipped to the store and ready for me a few days later! Thank you Athletic Feat, you can now see my tennis ball yellow shoes from a mile away!

Got new running shoes today. Great experience. Awesome, knowledgeable and friendly customer service, lots of choices. So happy! Can’t wait to run tomorrow! Go there, Napa!

Why go anywhere else?
I was so happy to hear that they had my pegasus 31 in the hot pink. I called after work an hour before closing letting them know I was in traffic and on my way, and they responded with «don’t worry, we can stay later for you!» (Or something along the lines of that). How terrific would that sound after a hard day at work?
They were friendly and helpful, all with a great location. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. They were the best.

I came across this store about 2 years ago and was skeptical that they would carry a size 11 ladies walking shoe. Much to my surprise, they didn’t only have one pair but many to choose from. The lady helping me was knowledgeable in all the shoes and helped me find the right shoe that would correct my flat feet. I have since purchase 5 pairs of shoes.
I recently purchased a pair of Vionic/​Orthoheel sandals that really hurt my feet after I purchased them. The brand is inconsistent and it was not the stores fault the shoes hurt the arch of my foot. I kept trying to make them work and it just got worse. I went to the store to buy another pair of sandals and not only were they willing to return my current sandals, they special ordered me a pair of sandals in the correct size and gave me back the difference on a gift card. Hands down one of the best customer service experiences that I have had in a long time. I am forever a loyal customer and will recommend you to all my friends.

I went to this store specifically looking for a Brooks shoe, and while I ended up purchasing the shoes I went for I was surprised at how helpful and just plain nice the lady (sorry I missed her name) but never the less she was great. The store was filled with high school athletes for a fund raiser, but that did not stop the nice woman from following me out of the store to make sure I was helped. Great place, wonderful staff. Very knowledgable on shoes and gear for whatever activity you are shopping for!

Love this store! The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. My 12 year old son has planterfaciatus (heel/​foot soreness) and they took their time helping him find inserts that fit him just right. It has been life changing for him and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and patience :)

This store has a great selection of running shoes as well as very cute clothing! I needed new shoes– a pair for running outside or on my treadmill, and a pair for indoor aerobics (kickboxing). The woman working there was very helpful and took a lot of time helping me with different shoes and sizes. I found two great pairs of shoes there that work well for my feet.
**Sometimes I buy my shoes online because you can find them cheaper on various websites. The prices at this store were the same as online prices.

What a great place! So nice to have such personal service. Have bought running shoes and clothing for my daughter and casual shoes for myself. I highly recommend this local family-​owned business.

I was on a wine tasting weekend trip in Napa and we decided to do a long hike on Sunday and I didn’t have the proper footwear. Since I needed a new pair of running shoes I figured I’d kill two birds with one stone and found Athletic Feat by searching through Unilocal.
The store has a great selection of shoes as well as apparel. I told Dame, the owner, the shoes I normal wore, Mizuno Wave Inspire, and she suggested I also try a few different models due to my slight pronation. She even had me run on the treadmill while watching my stride. Excellent service! She seemed very knowledgable about the different models of shoes she carried.
In the end we decided the Wave Inspire’s were the best but I’m glad she went the extra mile to see if there was a better alternative.
I gave the business the full 5 stars because after returning all the way home to San Francisco I realized I had left my coat at the store and she was kind enough to mail it back to me. Now that’s service!

Was doing some shopping the complex and stumbled into this store the weekend after Thanksgiving. Ironically I was in the market for new running shoes since mine were 9 months old. The woman working the store brought me up to speed that they just opened and were starting to get some regular clientele.
The store is small but has quite a bit of running clothing, shoes and a treadmill to test out the shoes. I’ve always been an Asics girl but unfortunately the can’t carry them due to a competitive clause with the other running store in town. Also serendipitous since I can’t use Asics with my new orthotics. The woman took the time to introduce me to several different brands, checking to see if I pronate or do other wonky things while checking out the shoes. Also let me do some time on treadmill so I could be absolute certain these are the shoes I wanted.
Ended up settling on a pair of Saucony which I love — they are so much lighter then Asics! Great place to purchase shoes!
