I got the pleasure of going to b cellars while I was in Napa for a wedding. We did a two hour session which involved he food and tour combo. Starting off the tour with a nice rose, our guide was engaging, nice, and seemed quite knowledgable. All of the wines were amazing and we ended up with a half case which was a surprise. The food was absolutely to die for. The only bad part was I couldn’t have an entire order! Favorite favorite favorite was a crispy duck confit and the chicken thigh. I also love that they had a garden, bee houses, and chickens on the property. Great event space in the cellar and I hope to come back one day again!

Came in for the Saturday 11am-1pm session Highly recommend to do this lunch pairing. Weather, company, service was amazing. I’m not one to do tours but enjoyed this bc it wasn’t too extensive. Beautiful and quaint venue that delivered Price was reasonable for the quality and service. I really enjoyed this pasta dish that I didn’t get around to taking a picture bc it was gone before I could get to doing it lol. But I’ve attached other Photos for your viewing pleasure

I visited yesterday with a small group. We did the Sojourn tasting(wine paired with cheese and chocolate) and it was fantastic. There’s obviously a lot of thought put into the pairings and everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, as well as fun. And we appreciated his letting us try the rosé and sauvignon blanc(both great!). I can’t wait to go back and try the other tastings.

Seeing that this place is a perfect 5 stars is no surprise. The wines were incredible, the staff was excellent(Jeff & Tom), and the experience was so unique.

One of the best wineries we have been to! The staff is great as well as the food pairing. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming. We joined their wine club and purchase bottles on a monthly basis. We are from New Orleans and enjoy a little hospitality!

I am weak when it comes to good wine. I decided to finally not be a member of every winery I go to. But how can you not when the whole flight was wonderful! So yes, we had to join. Both white and red wines were great. Did I mention that the food paring was fabulous. Caves tour was short but enjoyable, and a beautiful property. Definitely a 5 star for me.

What a beautiful vineyard on an incredible piece of land! Friendly staff, great food that is mostly grown on their property and of course, great wine! My only complaint is they could have poured fuller glasses of wine! :)

Entering the estate you get a quick sense of a place which is welcoming and serene. A short under-trellis walkway brings you to a charming courtyard where you are met by a Concierge Team before entering the Hospitality House. The wines here are wonderful. The tasting room is like being in someones kitchen and the caves are the most spectacular caves I have been in. You wouldn’t know it but if you happen to speak to Duffy he doesn’t just work there he’s one of the owner.

The first time we stopped by we were killing time before our cave tour at Pine Ridge and decided to give B Cellars a shot. Unfortunately, they let us know that it was strictly by appointment only. This is fine since a lot of wineries are doing the«by appointment only» thing. While we were leaving we decided to give them a call and see if they had any slots available for the week. A young lady took our first call and let us know a few options that they had free. We asked if we could call them back since we were driving. We called back and spoke to Cindy who said that she would check and call us back in about 20 minutes. Cindy left a message since we were in the cave tour at the time she called. She let us know in the message that there was an opening on Friday at 10:30am and that she would hold the spot for us. She also said she would be there until 5pm that night. We called back at around 3:30pm and asked for Cindy. They transferred me to Cindy. The wrong Cindy. She didn’t know what we were talking about. The wrong Cindy did try to help, but unfortunately could not. Another lady got on the phone and said there was no spot being held under my name and that she could not help us. At this point we were pretty fed up and just let it go. The next afternoon Cindy(the correct one) called us and asked if we wanted the appointment for the Oakville Trek at 3:30pm on Friday. We were a bit confused since no one had any record of our call, but we took the appointment since we did not yet have anything booked on Friday. We showed up today for our appointment very early since we are staying on Mt. Veeder and it takes a while to get down to civilization. There were many groups that day that were there for the 3:30 tasting. We were the first to show up and literally the last to be actually taken on the tour. We waited until about 3:50 before our tour even started. The tour was very informative and what B Cellars is doing is wonderful. The farm to table thing is awesome. There were many great wines that we tasted and the food was phenomenal. We left with the 2011 To Kolan, 2011 Stagecoach Cab, and another one that started with an E. We really really loved and enjoyed B Cellars and will be coming back. However, they seriously need to work on the lack of customer service and hospitality.

If you’re looking for an outstanding tasting and food pairing, this is a must-go destination while in Napa. I came here on a rainy weekend in January, so there weren’t as many people here as the Summertime. You’re welcomed by a beautiful property; everything is modernized, so you won’t be getting the country home-y feel here. The hospitality room was gorgeous, it looked like the inside of a home-decorating magazine. I got the Oakville Trek which included a tour, tasting, and food pairing for $ 55/person. You first start off with one wine and food pairing, then you head off for the tour of the place, which included the cave. The rooms in the cave are absolutely stunning, dimly lit with a beautiful chandelier; I’d host a wedding here, if it weren’t against the rules in Napa. You’ll get another tasting from the barrel here, while learning about the history and uniqueness of their winery. Then, you’re taken back to the hospitality room for the rest of the tasting and food pairings(4 more). The food portions are small and can be finished within 1 – 2 bites. We got stuffed mushroom, flatbread, short rib, foie gras, and BBQ chicken roll to pair with Maldonado Chardonnay, Blend 23(white blend), Blend 24(red blend), Stagecoach Cabernet, and Stagecoach Syrah, respectively. The wine and food pairings went perfectly together; the food brought out the taste of the wine. The quality of the food was top notch! I especially enjoyed their Blends, I ended up purchasing some for myself! All in all, if you’re looking for a more personalized, one-on-one experience(like other small wineries), this isn’t the place for you. The owner is also involved in hospitality, which explains the modernization and restaurant feel of this experience. Everything was well executed here, from the tour to the tasty wine and food pairings to the friendly attentive service, so I enjoyed my time here. I absolutely loved that they offer a food and wine pairing tasting, as most places only offer cheese and wine. I recommend this place for all foodie and wine lovers, specifically the Oakville Trek tasting!

What a find! The staff was very warm and welcoming, the food pairings were delicious(cooked right there in their beautiful, state-of-the-art open kitchen) but the show-stopper was the wine… WOW! They have an amazing Chardonnay(they had a great deal on a case price) and so many wonderful reds! It was raining when we went but they have lovely grounds and croquet so it’ll be a great picnic spot in the spring. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends!

First off, you’re greeted by friendly staff. We were there for the Saturday 2pm session and the sun was blazing. Very accommodating staff moved tables and umbrellas to keep patrons comfortable. 2012 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay paired with Humbolt Fog cheese was very good — buttery… 2013 Manzana Pinot was a little heavier than your traditional Pinot but lively and full of character!

A brand new and top drawer estate! Grapes grown from the finest places in the Napa valley! And reasonably priced considering what other wineries would charge for Georges 3, To Kalon, etc I’ve wanted to come here for sometime having read superb reviews. I had no idea that they were surrounded by such great neighbors: Screaming Eagle, Silver Oak, etc. The food here is organic and lively with attention to detail in both the kitchen and the growing of food. Ryan, who guided us from the guest house to the garden, through the cave and tasting while young(no sin there) knew his wine well and even caught me(And I’m no slouch) off guard with some knowlege. The pairings were very good and the club prices are reasonable. FYI, the«B» in B Cellars stands for Brix(The measurement of sugar in wine). Makes perfect sense and it would make perfect sense to return here again and again!

There are a lot of great wineries in Napa but the best we have visited so far is B Cellars! Laura was our hostess/guide and our experience was phenomenal! The food pairing with the wines was the best we have ever experienced! Visit, you too will fall in love!

A very pretty winery, but they come off as pretentious. We arrived and were seated for our tasting. The tasting included cheeses paired with the wines. We really didn’t like most of the cheeses(and we all love cheese) and the wines were«ok». I get the idea of the pairing and appreciate the effort, just maybe not our favorite cheeses. The Blend wine was our favorite. I still bought a couple bottles of their Blend 26 since it just got a 94 from Wine Spectator — which they did waive our tasting fees for. Nothing bad about the winery, just a weird feeling when you’re there… seems like you’re not as important like how some great wineries treat you. The experience feels almost commercial and unlike the«family/friends experience» that you can get elsewhere. The representative would pour our tasting, basically read the back of the label to us, then leave again until our glasses were empty. After the tasting, we went outside because they have a great looking croquet area… nope, $ 20 to play — onto the next winery. We were told by two employees that croquet would indeed cost $ 20. However, according to the property — the croquet is supposed to be free for visitors and employees have been retrained to this fact based on this review. On our trip, we purchased over 50 bottles of wine. Out of the 16 wineries that we visited, we would definately go back to four — in no particular order(Hendry, Viader, Hamel Family, and Phifer Pavit — they all get 5 star reviews). We would go back to four(Round Pond, Twenty Rows, Alpha Omega, and Stag’s Leap — all 4 or 5 star reviews). Once is enough for five(Tamber Bey, Del Dotto, Hestan, V. Sattui, Domaine Chandon — mostly 3 star reviews). And would never go back to three(Cline, B. Cellars, and Cakebread). I hope my math is correct. Feel free to check out my other reviews of all the wineries mentioned.

I don’t give out 5 stars lightly because, really, nothing can be perfect. But I am giving B Cellars that rate because I feel like I did have a perfect experience. Most of the best features have been mentioned in the previous reviews. I’ll just mention a few of the highlights of our visit. There were 6 of us, we had an appointment for one of wine tours and pairings and they treated us excellently. Starting at the restaurant, we had a first glass and appetizer pairing. Then were shown around the property. The little perfectly manicured gardens are where all of the food comes from that the chef uses. Then we saw the wine making area, where they had machines shipped here from abroad, spoke to the head wine maker, met one of the owners(I think there are around 30), then went to the caves… Wow, what a spectacular feeling it was in there… While passing through one of the areas in the caves, we were treated to their up and coming Zinfandel — right out of a spicket on the barrel. OMG… I wanted to attach my mouth to it and take it in intravenously. I was never a huge Zin fan, but then I found myself ordering 2 bottles to be shipped to me next spring. The last part was the actual sit-down tasting, where they paired some 4 or 5 wines with some amazing appetizer foods. I left happy.

I arranged a Beau wine country limo tour for my husband and 6 of our friends to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We don’t use a limo service regularly but are fairly well traveled and recognize quality service and experiences. In other words, we have high expectations! We were also looking for a lunch venue and Christopher, Beau’s concierge, suggested the Chef’s Garden Pairing luncheon at B Cellars. B Cellars is not a restaurant but offers some private chef food experiences. We had a wonderful tour of the winery and their caves with our wine guide, Erin, who then introduced us to our chef. He gave us a tour of the vegetable and fruit gardens. All of their fruits and veggies are grow on site. Then we started on the farm to table food/wine experience, which was OUTSTANDING! Our group was given a lovely private dining room that had large windows overlooking the garden/vineyards. Erin spent time explaining how each course was paired with each wine but was not intrusive and answered all our questions thoroughly. We learned a lot! We loved all the wines and food and Erin and the staff’s service was just great. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy any wines either. But we did! I HIGHLY recommend the B Cellar experiences. Our 29th anniversary was made so special!

This is what a winery should aspire to be when they grow up. Beautiful property, farm to table delicious food pairings with the wines, and amazing staff who provide unbelievable service. Their wines are yummy, albeit a bit on the pricey side. Just do it. #YOLO
