This office has been nothing but amazing to me! I have had bad experiences at different offices and this one is the best! From beginning to end the staff has been so helpful and took care of all my needs. They always have a smile on their face and ready to answer any questions that I had. The doctor made me feel comfortable and you can tell he knows his stuff! The whole experience was perfect and I could of not ask for a better experience and believe me, I have gone to a LOT of podiatrists. This place will get you the help you need! I would definitely go back! Don’t let one review stir you away! They’re the best!

Went in for an appointment for my bunions, and I received minimal care. I have never felt more unwelcomed and uncared for by a medical professional. His staff are friendly enough, but actually meeting with him on the two occasions I did proved less useful than all of the information I could collect for myself via the internet. Each meeting lasted less than 5 minutes – after waiting for at least half an hour. He seemed as though he wanted to be somewhere else and didn’t even take the time to sit while I asked him questions but rather stood and approached the door. Ultimately, it was a waste of both time and money, and an unpleasant experience to have had. I would never recommend seeing this terribly unproffesional podiatrist.

I was referred to Dr. Schumacher by an orthopedic surgeon, and what a good recommendation that was! Dr. Schumacher is a caring, extremely bright and talented podiatrist who will actively treat you at your visit, if at all possible. He uses state-​of-​the-​art, high-​resolution ultrasound for diagnostic work and provides really clear explanations of the problem (s). He then does whatever possible to alleviate the pain or problem immediately. (I’ve had others who just did minimal diagnostics and relatively little treatment.) I’ve seen Dr. Schumacher 4 times in the past 2 – 3 years for 4 different foot or toe issues, and each visit has given me great pain relief. At present, Dr. Schumacher is in his Napa office M, W and F, and in his Sonoma office T and Th (same phone number). His staff is most pleasant. Extremely highly rated!

I have never been more satisfied as I was after having seen Dr. Schumacher for my foot problem. He is very knowledgable and extremely personable. It seems like today it’s hard to find good medical providers. Dr. Schumacher is a real find.
