I’m no wine pro, so my tastes may not be «up to par», but I found the wines here to be good. Many of us know that Menage a Trois is a pretty affordable popular wine name, so I decided to do a flight of the the Napa Cellars(i believe?). I jumped for the more expensive $ 25 flight of apparently really special bottles… some of which not many were made! I thought that was neat. Our host, Darlene, was very knowledgeable and fun. She was kinda pushing us to join the wine club, but not overly pushy, and she gave us healthy pours plus a taste or two extra of other things! And to really make it special, I got word while at this tasting that I got a wonderful new job offer. Talk about a way to celebrate!

I just recently went and picked up my bag full of goodies from Napa Cellars. And what a delightful experience that is. Beautiful grounds the people that work inside go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. I was even greeted by somebody from the back they came out to say hello cuz they remembered me. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. Not to mention the fact that they have a great product that speaks for itself. Thank you ladies have a great day. Another happy customer.

On our winery journey my husband and I decided to stop here because it was next down the road. This is a tasting room that pours three different winerys wines. One of them being Menage trois. I have had some of thier wines in the past. We did two different tastings of the Napa valley wine and the other wine that wasn’t menage trois. I can’t even remember the name of the winery. It just wasn’t memorable. The wines were just Ok, we probably wont be back based on the wine. Although the staff was very friendly!

Came in with my husband because I am a huge fan of Menage a trois wine. Every time we go to Costco, my husband already knows that we’re going to get a bottle or two — hahaha. Our first stop of the day was here and Lance helped us. He was amazing! He was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I tasted the Menage a Trois and my husband tasted the Napa Cellars. Both were wonderful. So wonderful that I joined the club and went home with 5 bottles of wine! This was such a fun and unique experience and I can’t wait to visit Napa again to come here. Lance — Thank you so much for your great customer service!

Nothing fancy, but nice people and good time. Buy a bottle for the price of two wine glasses and have a picnic in the garden. Very relaxing when the weather is nice out.

One of the cheapest tastings($ 10) that is fun and an interesting experience in a hut. Although you can get Menage a Trois basically anywhere(good deals at Costco), it was fun to sample their other products. The tasting bar itself is pretty small but you can walk around the garden and there is a long table outside where you can also wine and enjoy the sun. The pourers are friendly and the fee is also waived if you purchase a bottle — so it’s basically worth it to buy a bottle.

Cool winery with a pretty affordable wine tasting at about $ 10 for 3 or 4 different samples. There was one pouring for us indoors and then the remaining pours took place outside. Although the area was not quite large, the space outside was very pleasant to sit, relax, talk, and enjoy the atmosphere. They also had some grape vines outside, which were cool to see up close. They were also separated by grapes, and it was cool to see the different types that are used for producing the variety of wines. The people who did the poured our wine were also very friendly and engaging with all of us, even though we were a very large group. We spent a little over an hour here just taking in the scenery while enjoying the different wine options. I also wouldn’t mind coming back here, and would recommend others to come visit too!

We often enjoyed Napa Cellars Cabernet as a special treat in our home in Long Island, New York. Imagine our pleasant surprise when we saw Debbie from Napa Cellars at a happy hour in our hotel in Napa in June(Hotel Napa Valley — Old World Inn). Debbie courteously invited us to the tasting room at Napa Cellars. We took her up on her invitation, where we met Darlene, who graciously guided us through several delicious tastings. Apart from the cab, we discovered a whole range of delicious wines from Napa Cellars. We enjoyed hearing Darlene’s unique take on the wines of the region, complete with her humor and interesting tidbits, without any air of pretentiousness(which is unfortunately all too common to the surrounding vineyards). On top of the welcoming atmosphere, the prices are incredibly reasonable for such quality product. We felt we got the best quality buys at Napa Cellars. Beyond that, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds of the vineyard and the scenic backdrop. We were so impressed, that after a long day of feeling shortchanged at overpriced vineyards, we returned to Napa Cellars to wrap up our stay. Both Darlene and Debbie greeted us like old friends. You can drive around Napa Valley wasting time, looking for what vineyards to visit like we did, or you can trust us that this is THE place to be. Ask for Darlene or Debbie, they’re the best. Tell them Lauren and John from Long Island, NY sent you.

Learned a lot about their brands and how their national brand, Ménage à Trois, works in the mix. Kip, our server, was really great and catered the tasting to what we wanted. For $ 10, I was able to drink only Cabs across the three brands. He also threw in a taste of one of their reserve wines that they were sampling that day. Went on a Friday afternoon and had most of the outside to ourselves. I could see how it might be harder to find a seat though on a busy weekend. You can buy glasses/bottles of wine and take them out there to enjoy. Perfect if you find something from your tasting that you want a little bit more of. Very relaxed atmosphere and perfect for chatting with friends. Not stuffy or pretentious, but also not super fancy/elegant if you’re looking to impress. Stays open until 6pm, whereas a lot of places close at 5, so great for sneaking in an extra tasting on your way back to Napa.

This winery was great! They had tastings for 10 dollars and 25 dollars. It depends if you want to try the reserve wines. So when we started we started with a nice lady and then she had to go to lunch. So we got Darlene, she has not been there long but she knew her stuff! She was super friendly, knew her wine and understood her clientele. I love sweet wines so I didn’t do much tasting but my sister and boyfriend loved all the wines. I got to try their Moscato and I love it. Oh almost forgot if you buy two bottles of wine you tasting is free. So we got ours free. Stop by and see Darlene!

I read a few of the reviews here, and I was actually pretty surprised. A few of us decided to go to on a Balloon ride for my girlfriend’s birthday. We were meeting at Domaine Chandon in Yountville, so I looked around to see what wineries we could hit afterward on the way home. Familiar with these wines in the grocery store, we decided to check it out more. I really like the Folie A Deux wines, especially the cab. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Napa Cellars or Menage a Trois wines, and after the tastings, still enjoyed Folie A Deux better. Aside from the wines, our experience was great! We received excellent attention from Darlene who gave us a full bio of the Trichero family and how all the wines came to be. We were very impressed with the vast amount of information that she knew and even more surprised when she said that she was only a temporary hire. Needless to say, we walked away happy, with lots of wine and a wine club membership. About a week after we got home, we got two very nice hand-written cards thanking us for coming, joining the club, and telling my girlfriend Happy Birthday. All in all, a great experience and the back area is also really nice and great for families. They have big tables you can bring a lunch and games to entertain the kids or adults. :)

My friends and I were looking for a place to have a nice Sunday picnic in Napa! Unfortunately the first place we went to didn’t allow outside food, but luckily we found this place! They encourage picnicking at their place and we enjoyed a peaceful lunch outside. The winery was on the smaller side but had plenty of outdoor seating with nice views! We bought two bottles of inexpensive wine and received a free wine tasting with the purchase. Our hostess was so friendly and nice we had a great experience with her. We tried the Napa Cellars wine – loved the Pinot Noir!

This was a really cozy, comfortable tasting room. It’s smaller compared to some of the other ones in the Napa are, but I found it to be very personable and welcoming. We decided to stop here because we got a 2-for-1 tasting deal at the welcome center and thought, why not? The tastings were $ 10 for 4 wines I believe, so in total my boyfriend and I got 8 wines for $ 10. Nice. The wines themselves were decent, and very reasonably priced compared to other locations in Napa, so we were happy about that. I think the best part about this place is its lovely outdoor area, which would be perfect for a picnic and also seems super kid friendly if you have little ones tagging along. There’s couches, tables, a game area, etc. Overall, a good spot in Napa!

This place is great! $ 10 wine tasting and fun outdoor seating. This is a smaller winery so you get great service and a homey feel. Oh… and Christina is awesome! :)

What’s up with the 3.5 star overall review? 5 stars all the way — why? We made reservations for a group of 20 of us. Instead of doing a set tasting time, we grabbed food from Oakville Grocery and reserved 2 picnic tables on their lawn in the back and enjoyed lunch, then started bottle service. Overall, just very accommodating — they made the day easy and enjoyable for us. We played bouche ball and ladder golf and soaked in the sun for the entire afternoon there. By the time we left we had killed 20 bottles but had a wonderful day out in the sun with friends. I’m not big on whites, but for a warm day in Napa you can’t go wrong with the Napa Cellars Sauvignon Blanc — out of this world and only $ 18/bottle — WAHHHT? Skip the menaga blah blah stuff. If you’re going with a group make sure to reserve a table outside. It’s comparable to V Sattui without the major crowds(no food vendors on site) but perfect for a picnic.

After I passed the Napa Cellars and noticed the Ménage à Trois logo earlier that morning, I knew that I wanted to make it back around to this one. It was raining and so we didn’t experience the grounds here. The tasting area was a bar area in the middle the place that was lined with souvenirs. I decided to do a tasting of the reds. I was surprised that they didn’t offer any Ménage à Trois options and when I asked about them, she said that because you can taste them anywhere, they wanted to feature other wines. Fair enough. Mid tasting was a shift change because the next thing I know the gal came out of the back area with her purse and walked out the door. Never acknowledging that she was leaving and that someone would be taking over the tasting… it was odd and not like what wait staff does in KY. Someone needs to teach these people some customer service. I say that because the guy taking over the tasting after wasn’t any more friendly. He asked where I was on the tasting and that was about as far as it went… dang it, I should’ve told him that I’d only had the first one. The bathroom was on the outside of the tasting room, which was a bit odd and inconvenient, especially since it was raining. Not a huge deal, and not anything to do with my low rating, it was just an observation. All in all, the wines were good and I still love Ménage à Trois wines… I’ll just have to try them each individually.
