Harbison Appliance

Just bought a high end washer and dryer at a great price. Kris did a great job showing us everything they had. Jon and Pedro showed up exactly when they said they would and extremely carefully removed the old set and installed the new. Love to keep my business local and this place rocks!

OK folks here it goes. My wife and I were referred by friends to Harbison for a washing machine and I had a really good experience with the owner Kris. A good guy. Knowledgable, easy to work with, and gave me a fair price. All good, even the installer, who was very nice, very clean, and very professional. All top notch, until my wife started to smell sewerage in the laundry room. As it turned out, the installer did not seal the hose that entered the wall pipe that went to our free standing septic tank in the yard. Now here is where the experience became absolutely bizarre.
I called Harbison to tell them that the installer needed to come back ASAP to make the connections correctly. I spoke to a woman named Denise who, in a nutshell, told me that this was my problem not theirs, and that I needed to solve it by going to a hardware store and buying the components necessary for this, as if I knew anything about installing a washing machine. When I objected, and said that is crazy, and that they never told me when I was in the store that I was responsible for this, they told me that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to Kris the owner, but they said he was out and they refused to connect him to me or give me his cell number. Denise didn’t offer to cover the plumber’s cost; I had to hire one who put in a P-​trap. The plumber was aghast that Harbison didn’t do this themselves. So I was out of pocket lots of extra money, and never did speak to Kris the owner.
But here is the real kicker. The final thing Denise said to me before she rudely hung up on me was that if I wasn’t happy, they would come by the following day to pick up the machine. Can you believe that? Earth to Harbison… Talk about blaming the victim!
Anyway, great store all the way up to this incredibly bizarre experience. So be forewarned.

I love my new GE Top Load Washer. If and when another one of our appliances goes out on us, you can be sure we won’t shop around. We’ll go straight to HARBISON APPLIANCE to save on time and money.
The delivery was as scheduled and the follow up call was a surprise but most appreciated.

My husband and i recently moved to Napa and needed to purchase a new washer and dryer. When we walked in we were greeted by Denise who was very sweet and knowledgable. We had a lot of questions and she was able to answer or at least get the answers to all of them with patience and a sense of humor. She helped pick out a Maytag HE washer and dryer. That same day, Jon delivered them to our house and he too was patient and helpful, and hooked us up within 20mins. We were even able to snag him for a little advice on our refrigerator, which he happily obliged! We have since used our washer and dryer and are so happy with the investment! We definitely recommend this locally owned business for appliance needs.

I recently contacted Harbison’s in regards to the repair of a front loading Maytag Neptune dryer I purchased from them 13 years ago. They recomended a couple of appliance service techicians who my wife contacted and were very busy. I took a look and found a idler pulley and belt would be needed to complete the fix. Sharon from the parts department had the parts in very quickly and then printed out some paperwork showing me the proper sequence to get the machine taken apart and fixed. She patiently explained each step as I took notes. It took me about 45 minutes to do the job once I had the parts. the parts came fast and the tech support was outstanding!

I would recommend Harbison to anyone who values good service and timeliness! Our laundry unit was purchased by us on Friday, and it was installed on Saturday. Our serviceman, Jon, was exemplary! There were some difficulties with space, and he worked patiently and methodically to solve the problems. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Also, the price was right! This was the 3^rd place we shopped, and by far the best price.

They are great to deal with and I would return to Harbison for any appliance need. When the rebate from Jenn Aire did not come out to what was promised, Kris immediately offered to send me a check to make the difference. The installer he uses was first rate. What a difference it makes to do business at a place that answers the phone (with a human being) and stands by its products and promises. We did not shop around or price compare; even if it’s MORE expensive (I doubt it is) I would still choose to do business with a private company where you know you won’t have a problem. Just shop there — you won’t go wrong!

harbisons is almost as big of a joke as Unilocal is. read the filtered reviews. I guess they block you if you dont have anything good to say.

Thanks to Dale and Kris for getting us set up with our appliances for our new home. Though we just needed a fridge at first, our washer then gave out right after we moved. Dale and Kris made their recommendations on what the best product would be based on what we wanted to spend.
I am super happy with my new GE profile fridge and Whirlpool washer!!! And I will return to Harbison when it’s time for remodeling the kitchen, they have a beautiful showroom!
