Not bad but not good… It’s a small establishment. Felt like a settled pop up kitchen! Simple décor, diverse menu of waffle sandwiches. We opted for the Rueben. Comes with a side of ‘tomato soup’ that resembled watered down can of stewed tomatoes. It was cold soup too. Actually all our food was cold? Would we come back? Definitely not! My favorite waffle sandwich joint is Bruxies. They have set my waffle sandwich bar way high.

Love this place. Everything is so delicious! I do wish they had a more restaurant setting. Seating is limited. But the food is tasty!

Delicious little place! Cute theme! Who wouldn’t like a waffle bread panini style sandwich with a little cup of tomato soup to dip it in! Great prices and you can even get a half sandwich! Gluten free waffle bread as well! Yay!

Cute little not your ordinary sandwich spot! We asked for their recommendation and soo glad we went with it(#15). What a variety of ingredients that just Meld together and surprisingly you can’t put it down or stop eating. It fit well with the little cup of tomato soup they give you. Very memorable place!

Pros: Cool concept, «fun» environment, good quality ingredients and quick service Cons: not very functional or comfortable seating, taste was average — was expecting more from the“waffle” bread. Coffee was average

The first time i tried Melted, I was a bit hesitant because of the waffle sandwiches(as I was expecting them to be sweet). I tried the Don Caballero sandwich and rose lemonade and I fell in love. I get this combo every time I go. SODELICIOUS! There is limited seating and the tables are pretty small, but overall I love this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed the waffle sandwiches and the tomato soup dip. It’s not a place for fancy dining but a good hole in the wall sort of deal. Come to try if you want a light and delicious meal.

I came in on a Saturday with a group of my friends before we went wine tasting. One of my friends have been here before and gave it rave reviews so I thought I would try it. I got to taste a bunch of different ones but my favorite was definitely the veggie sandwich. The tomato soup dipping sauce was a bit watered down. I like the concept and I may give it another try if I am in the area again but overall, it was a bit of a let down.

I guess I’m not hipster enough. This place just didn’t do it for me. The tables are super close together and the seats feel like lawn chairs. We were driving through Napa on a rainy day and just wanted a cozy place that served soup and grilled cheese. Instead it felt rather clinical. The food was okay but something about a waffle pattern makes me crave a a waffle taste. Come to think of it, a waffle grilled cheese would be pretty awesome. Skipping this next time we’re in Napa.

Melted got my heart melted! Their food was really good, my family and I loved it and wished we had a bigger tummy to order and digest more food! Tomato soup was a hit pls order that with a couple of waffle sticks to dip. I cannot wait to be melted again

This is a cute, little shop in the central, downtown Napa area. The girls and I were able to walk here for breakfast from our hotel. There isn’t that much seating inside except for counter tops — there is one central table, but there was a group already occupying it. Instead, we pulled up some chairs to a small table outside and set up shop there. My sandwich took forever to come out. Like both of my friends were done eating, and I still didn’t get my order. The girl came out and apologized. I guess the wrong item was written down. Finally, I got my waffle sandwich, and it was good, but not spectacular. They are all mostly cheese and meat. I wish there had been some additional ingredients. We were also baffled by the sprinkling of bread crumbs. At first we thought it was some sort of cheese, but no, it was bread crumbs. To apologize for the wait and mix up, I was given a card for a free sandwich, so that was nice. Also, my friend said the coffee was horrible. She ended up throwing it out and getting one down the street at another place.

Great Idea, love this concept!!! however the waffle was too thin and too crispy. The tomato soup as a side was a great idea but tasted horrible. I enjoyed the sandwiches and know that there is much more potential here. I hope they make some improvements and will be back next time I’m in Napa.

A little pricey but very good food! The melts were all delicious and come in half/full sizes. I wasn’t sure how big the portions were so I accidentally full ones and it was a lot of food. The seating was a bit crammed although there were some seats outside and tables outside. If you’re looking for a good bite to eat while shopping around the little shops this place is a must!

Just before the rush came in… Nothing wrong with this place in regards to food, just wish it was a bit roomier.

Came in after lookin around on Unilocal for a fun place to get some food! Wasn’t sure what to expect with this place at first, but right after we walked in I knew the food would be great. The staff is very friendly and inviting, also helpful when deciding which sandwich to try! I had the don Callabero and let’s just say I will be back, even though I am visiting from Sacramento. The tomato soup to dip the sandwich in was the cherry on top! Also can’t forget. $ 10 bottomless mimosas! Not just your average either. A pomegranate twist mimosa!

Ordered the It’s Been a Long Time Cousin and was pleasantly surprised! The only other waffle sandwich I’ve had is Bruxie’s in SoCal. Melted has more vegan friendly options and the waffles are super light and crunchy. I loved the tomato soup for dipping!

As a Bay Area native, I always look for what’s new, what’s innovative, and what delivers on taste. Melted has it all. They’re themed after a love for movies, which you could tell from the big screen playing classics just above the cashier’s counter to the titles of each sandwich. As far as the sandwiches are concerned, they have a fun waffle bread for each, with flavors ranging from the familiar wholesome, to the adventurous spicy. They also accommodate vegetarian and vegan selections. I like to order the breakfast focused Trail To The Sun, which doesn’t miss – from the egg and sausage to the cheese brought together with a dipping soup. The Dan Rather choco-peanut butter smoothie tops it off rather well. Be prepared to wait a while as the food is made to order. Also, depending on when you come, there may be a line. The venue is rather small, with seats lined on the wall bar style, and tables outside. The sandwiches will warm you up if Napa proves to be a bit chilly on the day you come. Mayhap you’ll enjoy a book from the next door bookshop with your meal :)

Came here for raving reviews and since I never tried a waffle sammich! It’s a little boutique shack in dt Napa — great place for a stroll. Anyways ordered the American culture club — took a while for food to come out. Honestly, food was mediocre. There wasn’t anything special about this waffle sandwich. Waffles itself had nice texture and came out crispy but lacked flavor. The insides tasted like a regular sandwich with your deli meats, cheese and condiments — predictable stuff. The small side of tomato soup is a nice touch, but soup itself didn’t blow me away. I don’t understand the hype for these sandwiches, but it would say it’s a one time only thing for me.

Absolute must visit whenever I’m in Napa. I was on a visit to Napa with family and we couldn’t find a place with enough room for all of us during lunch time on a Saturday. I hopped onto Unilocal for an alternative and found this absolutely fantastic place, with enough tables for two outside for our party of 8. The staff really are passionate about their food, and it makes the experience that much better. I’ve tried a few different sandwiches and the crispiness of the waffle really does elevate each one of them. I tried a bite of I Wear the Gold(somewhat like a philly cheesesteak) the first time I was here and loved it, but it came out lukewarm during my next visit and I was much less of a fan. I’ve also tried the Aunt Weaver Stamper, but it just wasn’t my kind of thing. What I’m in love with is the Good Morning Captain. I am a huge fan of smoked salmon and lox and cream cheese and anything along those lines, so this was a favorite before I even took a bite. It’s delicious and an absolute must-try if you like salmon. Of course, the dessert sandwich was also delicious, so make sure you save enough room. The smoothies are really refreshing as well! I’m not sure that they compliment the sandwiches very well, but they’re great post-meal. I recommend the sweet and tangy Enter the Dragon. The only thing is that your sandwich may sit out for a bit, especially if you have a big order, and these taste much better when they’re hot. I can’t recommend Melted enough.

Was looking for something on the lighter side for lunch yesterday and decided to give Melted Napa Valley a try. It’s a tiny restaurant in downtown Napa and I was lucky enough to find a parking spot on the street. I opted for the #5(I wear the gold). It has thin slices of roast beef, provolone cheese, bell peppers, onions and garlic. My wife ordered the #4(Delivering the groceries). It had BBQ tuna, smoked Gouda, bacon, micro greens, carrots and dill. We ordered the full size, but the half size would be perfect if we were looking for something even lighter. The unique thing about these sammies is they are made with waffles. They are light and crispy and served with a very tasty marinara sauce for dipping. Both of our sammies were very good and flavorful. They were just the right dish for our appetites.
