Happy day. The team changed my second headlight at no charge. Made my day… Great service…

The only reason I’m giving a star is because they are open on Sunday’s and no other tire shop in Napa is. Sloooooow service! Brought truck in at 2pm to swap out 4 tires. It’s been on the lift for 2.5 hours with 6 techs working in the shop. Ridiculous! When we first got here, it took the guy 10 minutes to acknowledge that we’d even walked through the front door. If my truck wasn’t already on the lift without tires I would just leave. Don’t bring your vehicle here if you can’t drop it off for the day.
UPDATE:
On the way home from Midas, the front end started shaking violently which has never happened before. Took it to another shop as soon as they opened Monday morning and some of the wheel weights were missing… don’t EVER take your vehicle to them!!!

Went here for a quick oil change. Asked them not to do anything with the tires because I had just had new ones put on. Manager/​guy in office anyway was rude, short worded, and guess what… REMOVED THE TIRES! Ended up costing almost $ 70 for an oil change… really $ 70?! The only good thing was the awesome attendant who actually did the work and vacuumed out my car. I thank him but DONT RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE! Go to a shop or your dealership for that money, or local small businesses. Awe full!

Brief and to the point. They tell you what you need and don’t mess around. Polite and professional. Don’t waiste any time on the fluff. They will tell you exactly what needs to be done and won’t try and sell you on any extra stuff. The time frame they give you is very close to the actual time they get you done and out of there. We all are short on time especially when it comes to waiting on your car.

I made an apt with Curtis and was pleased with the complete mechanical once over, followed up with a thorough job of a once over that was much needed. I would highly recommend this Midas for their care, timeliness, professionalism and the above and beyond approach for all of it…

Wow… All I can say is wow, I stopped by here to see if I could get an LOF service on my Ram and they charged me 230 after it was all said and done. Normally I have my vehicle serviced else where but I thought today hey. Why not? Once I finally paid these thieves the manager Curtis gave me a laundry list of «services» my truck needs for the 100k interval. My truck currently has 110k on it and I have all the major services done by the dealer, so even though I was told they would check my fluids etc… Obviously they did not. Unilocalers avoid this place, RUN AND HIDE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Curtis you are truly a crook, quit selling snake oil before you go out of business!

Said it would take 5 hours or more to fix my exhaust and they could not guarantee the work. Told me I should lie to my insurance and get a new cat back exhaust system out of them. «just say someone hit the pipes» Took my car down the street and they fixed it in an hour for $ 175.

I just wan to say Curtis and staff are amazing at what they do here! I purchased a set of tires over a year and a half ago from here at a great price. Just recently had a flat due to a box cutting blade on the road. At first a tire was ordered and brought over ASAP from Benecia but later not needed as my tire was still repairable. Terms of my tire purchase were repair for the lifetime of the tires free… so there you go! I was in and out no problem! Thank you guys so much.

I’ve been bringing our two Volvo XC90s here for about 3 years now. Curtis always treats me like family. He goes above and beyond to fix the little glitches that seem to pop up with these cars. They’re not perfect, but have earned my repeat business.

It’s a nickle n’ dime chain. Told me my fluids were dirty even though they were all just flushed a few months ago, visual inspection confirms my fluids are indeed still clean. Said belts were frayed, they aren’t brand new, but they’re not in need of replacement. I’d take my car to trusted local shop rather than a chain like this if they tell you that you need major service.
Not a very warm individual assisting me, would answer the phone or walk away without saying anything.
Will never return, wish I had my own garage again.

Do not take your car here. The service was terrible and took 4 days just to take car of the oil in my car. Their lack of customer service left me very upset. They also found several ways to charge me extra and I ended up paying double what they told me originally. They also dented the front of my car… And put greasy engine parts in my back seat. So now my leather seat have engine grease on them. Thanks Midas, merry flipping Christmas

I sent my son in to get a brake job. It turned out to be the most expensive brake job I have ever paid for. All rotars and brakes replaced for 1K. These guys took advantage of my 18-​year-​old son. It was supposed to take a couple of hours but instead these guys work until 9 o’clock at night so we waited around while they finished the job.
Expensive, and they take advantage of inexperienced auto owners. Not a good experience for me.

I am very torn about writing this review — the service was great, but felt that I was treated different due to being an older woman who does not understand much about cars so I was taken advantage of.
My battery died on a Sunday afternoon — called around and Midas was the only place open. I was able to get my car started and drove over.
Good: Service was fast — battery was definitely bad as my car is 5 years old and they replaced it and I was in and out in under an hour.
Bad: They never asked me what kind of battery I wanted. It was not until the battery was installed and I was presented with the bill that I was advised they gave me the best battery they had — One with a 74-​month warranty. I will not have this car in 74 months and definitely would not have opted for a battery that cost me almost $ 200! I believe I should have been informed of my options before they installed the battery, and do feel like this is due to me being a woman (and along the lines of at least one other review on Unilocal).
I will definitely not be back, and would not recommend if you are a woman unless you are knowledgeable about your options. Yes, I should have asked about the price first, but I fully expected them to give me an estimate before installing.

This review is regarding my girlfriend’s experience here.
She is an attractive blonde and they obviously hoped they could pull the wool over her eyes by quoting her their most expensive oil change at $ 80.
When she questioned the price and requested a cheaper option, Doug told her that her car could ‘ONLY’ take synthetic oil and the $ 80 oil change was her only option. Thankfully she called me and I clarified that her 2009 Toyota Matrix could certainly have the more basic and affordable oil change. When she confronted Doug about this on the phone he finally did admit a cheaper option and changed the service plan by almost $ 30. Trying to take advantage of female customers does not bode well for the public’s trust in you guys.
Stay away from this place.
