Indeed, Dave Nelson and his company are excellent. We just bought a new house and Dave came by to deal with leaking valves, all covered under a home warranty. Truly great service, insofar as it was timely and well-​executed. Beyond that, Dave is personable and offered any number of insights about our new pool and associated pipes and other equipment. Could not recommend Dave more highly.

My new pool is my pride & joy. It’s shaped like a fish and can be seen by people in balloons, helicopters & small planes, so it’s very important to me that it’s clean and shiny all the time. Nelson is very reliable & responsive. Calls are returned promptly, concerns are addressed, communication is honest, patient & respectful. Even when everyone was crazy-​busy after the earthquake, Dave returned my calls the same day. I trust them.

Great pool company. These guys did wonders on a disaster of a pool that I was dealing with and cleaned it up sparkling in 2 weeks just like they said they would. Dave’s a nice guy, does great work, highly recommended.

Dave came into to look at our pool heater and pump, and after a very thorough evaluation offered to do a big repair job, or replace with superior equipment at a fair price. After review of both options it became clear that trying to fix that old equipment was not the best investment so I asked Dave to replace it. Here is where he really shined — fair price, FAST service, very thorough job from start to finish. Thanks Dave, now we get to enjoy our pool again!

The owner was always super nice every time that I called to complain about how filthy my pool and hot tub were despite my paying faithfully for weekly maintenance… I guess he gets that one star. My brand new top of the line spa was so poorly maintained it cost me $ 1,000 in repairs after less than 9 months of Nelson Pool & Spa’s «maintenance.» It smelled like wet dog and mold, NOT the goal. I quit them two months ago and it’s been lovely ever since, which leads me to my next review of Diamond Quality Pool & Spa in Calistoga…
