Had a horrible time. waited 30 minutes for a sandwich, which the clerk made wrong and was rude and unpleasant. i bought over $ 30 just in deli food yet the woman continued to seem upset that i needed hot food, a salad, and a sandwich. Also, Tried to get a dessert from the bakery. two clerks just kept ignoring me and hiding behind the walls when i called them. looked right at me. I Never plan on shopping here again. Safeway sandwiches r like gold.

Had a real unpleasant time checking out at 10:15 am last Friday. It took 20 minutes to check out with q half cart of, groceries. I should have just left it at the checkout line because they wanted the groceries more than I did. I notice most Unilocal are positive for, this place. I guess my exp rienc was out of the ordinary. But it still bugs me.

There are super markets and there are markets that are SUPER! This is the one and only Raley’s I’ve been in. I found it while camping in my RV at the Skyline Wilderness Park, about 2 miles away — so super convenient. When I first entered the store, I was kind of blown away. I watched Sushi being made fresh, and I picked up a packet and took it home for lunch — melted in my mouth. I also found out that ALL of the deli salads were made fresh, on site and not some mass packaged product just displayed to look good. The meat and seafood is equally incredible. I think we’ve prepared 3 or 4 meals in the week we’ve been here that comes from one of thee two counters including a super fresh piece of salmon and some shrimp that we barbequed last night. So good, especially when combined with their fresh produce. Their produce is what really convinced me that this store is special and that those who get to shop here regularly are very fortunate indeed and I hope they appreciate what they have and don’t take it for granted. Seriously, when was the last time anyone went into a chain supermarket(over 100 stores) and found 9 varieties of cherry tomatoes? I was fascinated… and they were so good. Here is the coup de grâce — SERVICE! That’s right a supermarket that provides exceptional customer service. I was on a quest to find a non-breakable bowl that could be put in the microwave(not as easy as it sounds). I fond a young man straightening a shelf and asked if he knew where I could find such an item. He stopped what he was doing and took me to the place where he thought I would find what I was looking for. I had not been very specific up to that point, and when it was not the right place, he took me to one of his store managers and asked them… the store manager than took me to the proper place in the store. Both employees(and the Sushi Girl) all made me feel welcome and comfortable. Well, I can’t think of any other place to buy fresh food… meat, seafood or produce. I highly recommend this store.

Raley’s is a local supermarket chain. Like their sibling chain Nob Hill, they’re pricey. I shopped the sales. They’ve expanded to Thursday wine tastings… as if the Napa Valley were not the kind of place for that(originally, Raley’s did a test run of supermarket wine tastings in Sacramento/Roseville) They have an OK variety. They used to have their organic foods all in one place– now they’re more diffuse. They had organic pluots on sale(cheaper than the conventionally grown ones) Their Something Extra recipe magazine is no longer free. I’ve had their breakfast&I was unimpressed. In some ways, they’re more expensive than Whole Foods. I had friendly service, but all in all, it was merely OK.

The new produce department is terrible. Almost all the bulk produce is gone, replaced by refrigerated cases full of packaged produce. At least in one case, the price is much higher than when it was bulk. It looks like a Target grocery department now. This used to be the only place I would buy my organic veggies, but I think I will have to find a new store.

What happened to the young woman(about 5’7, Short pixie cut, brown hair big smile from ear to ear) in the bakery? I’ve asked around for her but everyone said she broke her hand, she was always very nice and helpful, especially when she told me about the desserts being 4 for $ 10. I thought that was awesome! She was really patient despite me being testy, I went back and apologized and she in return gave me a cookie to test and I bought some of them as well. Than another employee(I think she was a Courtesy Clerk)(about 5’0, short blackish/brown hair, very sweet, and upbeat) was sweeping the store, and I stopped her and asked some questions as to where things were and despite not knowing where only 2 things were placed she stopped what she was doing and showed me! I was impressed! As for the store… It is absolutely gorgeous! I don’t care what these other costumers have to say about the updated store! You all seem to keep it tidy and it’s always clean. The managers are doing a great job!

So I just had my first pay for your own bags experience. I get it and I don’t have a problem paying the .10 cents per bag. What I did have a problem with was the incompetent baggers. So the plastics are gone and your only option paper. But eggs on bottom and rest piled on top!!! I questioned the cashier if they would be retraining their baggers But she didn’t think it was neccessary. Anyway if you get a bagger named Nicole(tall skinny blonde) run!!! Customer service… gone

Holy gigantor supermarket. This place is huge. As is everything else in this mall(Home depot, etc). People have trailers with horses parked here for example. It’s got a Wells Fargo and a Peets and probably other things I didnt get to. Pretty much all the grocery you need and then some. I just needed beverages and ther were many to choose from in nice refrigerated cases.

I this Raley’s. It’s super clean and friendly and everyone always greets you. This review is actually for their won ton soup over by the deli. Special s/o to Zach at the Chinese food station. He will make you a mean won ton soup. super fresh. super hot. He’ll ask if you’ll want it mild or spicy and with all veggies. Who the heck has time to do all that? Takes a couple minutes but man it’s worth it!

Employees are super friendly and helpful. Numerous times I’ve been in the produce section and the employees stocking have pointed me to the fresher produce(sometimes at the other entrance to the store), and they’ve also advised me on produce that I wasn’t sure was ripe(as it was a new ingredient for me).

I have been overcharged on sale items several times and have to ask to have it corrected. Sea Food not always kept fresh, have had to throw out seafood on occasion. Needs better management. Store itself is layed out very nicely, and produce is usually quite good, although expensive if not on sale.

Stop in to this ralyes today to get a healthy lunch. I went in to there deli section and picked out one of there salads. I was going to get there sushi but they only had brown rice ones. I got there bbq salad for 5 $. A nice young lady helped me out to check out and I was on my way. The salad was ok not the freshest but ive had worse and for 5 $ it was pretty cheap for something healthy. I enjoy shopping at little stores like this one cuz it makee me feel like im still in a small town. F**** Walmart.

Compared to the Valllejo Raleys, this one looks much better with a more updated interior décor; maybe because it’s a newer store. The store also carries certain items you can’t find in other stores in the area.

Always really Thankful when a food chain feels customers are first. This Napa store has WiFi and a Red Box. I also have good experience with The Wells Fargo they are my home bank. The Drugstore workers are very kind so over all this is a good place were they think of the customer.

It’s Raley’s, nothing really special about it you’d think… but they have the absolute best selection and prices on wine! Same is to be said for liquor too. As far as groceries, it’s pretty nice but I prefer Fresh & Easy down Imola instead.

When I don’t feel have time to go and have a nice sit down lunch, I come here in a pinch. This is a really big store with a descent deli and I will find something to tide me over until I can get some real food. I don’t grocery shop here, I just come for the deli, produce, and snack/beverage section. Their health food section is adequate.

This is my regular supermarket mostly because it is right down the street from where I live. I do enjoy the fact that they have quality produce and a great butcher department. Their wine section is decent but I have seen better for a supermarket. For the most part the staff is very friendly and helpful. It sometimes seems like it is hard to find someone to help you at times but when you do they usually are willing and helpful. The prices are a bit higher on some items and there is no frequent shopper card or program which kinda sucks. Also they have a pharmacy and a Wells Fargo bank(not just ATM’s but rather a full office and tellers). Big parking lot with plenty of spaces.

The BESTSUSHI in North Bay! Forget the over priced sushi restuarants in Napa Valley the sushi sold here is many, many times better! SUSHI!

I like this grocery store for a few reasons. Nice selection of baked goods and they make wonderful personalized birthday cakes to order. There is a rather large health food section, asian food section, Mexican food section, and other ethic varieties. Also they have a good make up, beauty products, hair products, etc. section. Wine and beer secion I have heard is slightly lacking for me it seems good enough for home shopping. Easy to get around and comfortable to shop here. The staff are great and very helpful.
