I went to see Dr. Sarah Aylard DDS in 2014 after she had performed five thousand dollar’s worth of dentistry on my daughter. Dr. Sarah Aylard DDS examined my mouth and immediately told me my teeth were in sad shape. She said I had to have a few teeth pulled out and that I needed flap surgery. She explained it was urgent as this tooth problem could affect my heart. For $ 6,000 plus my insurance we could get it done by spreading the payments over two years so I would be able to use my insurance twice. I could not afford it and I have been worried about the infection in my gums spreading to my heart until I got a second opinion. My daughter that had her teeth worked on by Dr. Sarah Aylard DDS to this day has sensitivity in her teeth and cannot deal with hot or cold foods or liquids and it has been over a year since the procedure. Last week I got the financial backing to be able to get my procedure done. I was so happy but I decided that I did not want to waste my money at Dr. Sarah Aylard’s practice as my daughter’s teeth still hurt so I lost a certain amount of trust. I made an appointment with a Periodontist because they specialize in flap surgery. He gave me an exam and took X-rays. This dentist knew I came to get flap surgery. After reviewing my X– rays and teeth he said I have gum inflammation and merely needed a deep cleaning. I do not need any teeth pulled but I did need a filling. I will never return to Dr. Sarah Aylard DDS and I am thinking I should have my daughters X-rays pulled to see if she needed all the work they did. Needless to say I am very disappointed in Dr. Sarah Aylard DDS.

Dr. Aylard is the best dentist I’ve every had and I’m 57 years old! She is very knowledgeable and efficient and always cares about my health and well-being first. I’d recommend her to anyone. Her staff is the most caring and helpful I’ve ever encountered.

I have 6 beautiful veneers I from my dentist in Chicago. When one veneer poped off I was panicked. Who in Napa would have the skill and expertise to put it back on like the orginal? I found Sarah Aylard’s website and could tell her knowledge on paper, but could I get in quiclkly, would the repair be seamless? Panic again. I got in the very morning I called and YES she knew actually how to repair the veneer flawlessly. After just a brief chat with Paula(her assistant) and Dr. Aylard I think I have found the perfect replacement for my Chicago dentist of 25 years! Whew, I can smile again and know that I have found a true gem! What will I have to panic about now?
