Chili Verde Tacos: 5 stars
If I ordered just the chili verde tacos here, they would have received a 5 star rating from me! Unfortunately I had to dock a star because their Al Pastor were just mediocre. So do yourself a favor and stick to the Chili Verde Tacos! I have not yet been to another taco joint that serve this so that in itself is amazing. Very flavorful and full of sauce which I love. Would def come back for this next time I’m in Napa

Just your typical Al Pastor tacos. They were not bad but they just weren’t extraordinary.

Free chips and salsa is a must at your typical taco shop but they did not have AC in their small restaurant so it was hot, hot, hot! It was even cooler outside than inside the restaurant (It was like 85 outside…) Together with the average Al pastor tacos, I have to give this place a 4 star!

This place definitely satisfied my street taco cravings when I was in Napa for a conference. Only had one hour for lunch and my coworkers and I were craving Mexican food. Looked Mexican food and this place came up. Sooo glad we found it because it was delicious. This place is right across the Napa Valley High School and inside is pretty tiny. Service here is quick, not much on the menu. I assume it gets super busy because it’s right in front of the high school and had student deals and there were hardly and clean tables for others to sit once we left. Upon ordering you get a complimentary basket of chips and dips. I ordered 4 steak tacos with nothing spicy, my coworker ordered a huge burrito, and my other coworker ordered 4 tacos with spicy stuff on it. I was pleased with how fast we got our food. We came at a great time because it started to get busy once our food arrived. Next time I am in Napa and craving tacos I know where to go!

Best authentic Mexican food in Napa. The prices are very low and the food is delicious. Lunch time is difficult because of Napa High so go earlier or later for lunch. The location looks dubious but the food is incredible.

Yayy and walking distance from the casa. I’m so happy. I missed them down on Old Sonoma but glad they’re just a hop, skip and jump away. I love their super burritos, but get pretty much anything there. Wouldn’t drive though unless you’re going to hop out the car while someone takes a drive around the corner. Parking sucks, good thing I can walk. yee.

Best Mexican food in town! Missed it when they closed down on Old Sonoma but now there back! Excellent location for students being across from Napa High and now more centrally located in Napa. Authentic Mexican food, great prices and awesome service. You can’t go wrong.

This is such a great Mexican restaurant. It’s a small place but cute. I love there red sauce cheese enchiladas. The quesadillas are very yummy and big. And the tacos are always very tasteful! I come here at least 2 – 3 times a week for lunch! Great place.

This is the best authentic Mexican food in Napa. Same cooks and food as the old Tacos la Playita. Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Look out for the school rush though.

Fantastic Mexican food. Best burritos in Napa. For those of you who miss Tacos La Playita, this is the new restaurant from the same owners. Same food, different location. Parking is a bit of a challenge since it’s on a busy street, but well worth the inconvenience for the wonderful food.
