The Eye Works Optometry

Very impressed! The most thorough eye exam I have ever had and great communication from Dr. Sultan. The entire team showed great interest in customer care and comfort. Nice selection of frames and great advice in the selection process. I will definitely go back when the next exam is due and can highly recommend The Eye Works to anyone looking for a top notch place.

Let me preface that the only doctor I used to like was Dr. Pepper.
This changed the other week when i went to eye works. I have this eye, you see (see what i did there x 2) thats a double entendre, almost triple if you count the double, like double vision but anyhow, its messed up. I wake up in the morning and i feel like the terminator. Its red as can be. I had to do something so i checked out who my insurance provider (VSP) would cover and the eye works had the best Unilocal reviews and i can see why (there i go again). I was greeted with some real cool stuff some cookies and some other stuff. Receptionists are A+ and i dont mean to take away from them but there are really 2 stars of the show here. Dr. Sultan who is just like a freaking eye ninja and then you have the coups de gras. RANDY.
I want to take a break and mourn the passing of one of my favorites, Prince. I have gone so far as to paint my teardrop dermal anchor purple. This man meant alot to me, i grew up on him and i just want to say hell be missed.
Anyhow, gotta keep my eye on the prize, and by eye I mean the good one.
So yeah, that Randy guy. This cat is like a walking textbook of glasses know how. He knew all about my insurance, which i know nothing about, frames, lenses, and really, just an all around cool guy. This place has put together a dream team of retina rebels. I love going here, been twice so far and even though doc Sultan is fixing my cyborg eye and trying to keep me from coming, i dont think i can… i might have to make something up to go in. All in all, i was properly diagnosed, treated like a king and will always, always recommend eye works.

Every year I have an eye exam, every other year I buy new frames, every year Craig and the crew provide stellar service and they simply could not be nicer people. Thanks again to Eye Works!

Eyeworks is THE best! Being a glasses (mostly) wearer, comfort, style and selection are very important to me. Not only was I able to pick out super cute new Dior frames (and it was difficult to narrow it down to just one!), Dr Sultan fit me for contacts that are incredibly comfortable… I find I can wear them at work (in front of a computer) all day without discomfort. This was huge for me as I’ve always had issues with contacts and hated that I could feel them in my eye. No longer a problem for me. I’ve been to quite a few eye docs in my life, and Dr Sultan tops my list.

Thank you to Randy for providing me with the information I needed to make choices that best suit my needs. Your knowledge, professionalism, and patience are very much appreciated. Best of all, I LOVE the look and comfort of my glasses!

Let me start off by saying that I NEVER write reviews, until I went to Eye Works. Dr. Sultan and staff are definitely the best in the business and area. Dr. Sultan explained everything and is extremely pleasant and friendly. They have all the cool frames and brands that I like (IC! Berlin). The only thing is I wish I had learned about this shop earlier. I have been used to the unfriendly and shops that have bad customer service. If you need to see an optometry doctor you would be foolish not to give them a shot.

Saturday appointments are great! Love this place! all the staff are great. My kids love going there for their yearly exams.

I recently took my Kaiser prescription to this location in order to fulfill it. I was pleasantly surprised how easy the entire process was.
I knew what I wanted when I came in. I ordered two pairs, one everyday pair and a pair of sunglasses. The gentleman that assisted me was very knowledgable in the different types of frames and the right lenses for my eyes and lifestyle.
After my measurements were taken and everything ordered I was expecting to have to wait 2 or more weeks for my glasses but I received a phone call and text message 9 days later to come pick up my glasses. I was in awe.
They were perfect in every sense and they fit amazing. I am definitely in love with this location. Everyone was nice and helpful. Plus they have a 2 year warranty on lenses and a 1 year warranty on frames. What more can you want?

Everything is 5 star! Great team and overall experience was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Sultan is the best!

I came here randomly on a whim to get a new prescription for contact lenses and I was very impressed by the friendliness and accuracy of the staff. Dr. Sultan is a very personable, caring, and genuine guy. I will definitely continue using them for my future eye examinations.

These guys are awesome. I love them. Very nice, extremely helpful… big recommendation! Came in with broken glasses and had lost my contact lenses during the Christmas holidays, and they did everything they could to help on both accounts, although I was a bew customer. Thanks!

Just love Dr. Sultan, and his Eyeworks crew! Snazzy, practical and progressive (as in very cool) eye wear for everyone’s needs. Dr. Sultan (and his wonderful wife) have special events for everything from eye education to the latest trends in eye wear. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for a comprehensive eye exam or help for that special pair of specs!

It’s been several years since I have been to their office. I found the staff not particularly helpful, but more importantly for me was that their frame selection was extremely limited. My daughter wears contacts and it took a ridiculous amount of time for her lenses to come in. (I was told it would be about 10 days, I stopped in after two weeks and they weren’t there. I can only assume they forgot to order. They came in about a week later. Perhaps, but I highly doubt, they were on back order but the office never told me that there would be any delay.) The very worst part is they will NOT stop soliciting me!!! The phone calls stopped but I still get USPS mail and texts.

Dr. Sultan was excellent as was the staff. Made us feel welcomed and very comfortable. Wonderful experience :)

My husband & I both went to Dr. Sultan & I was very happy, but then I decided to take my 7 year old there… He was amazing!!! You would think he specialized in working with kids. When we got there my daughter was scared & did not want to go, after we left she said she wanted to come back next month because she had so much fun. I have never heard a child describe a doctors office as fun lol I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially anyone that has a child nervous about going. I rarely write Unilocal reviews, but I had to for The Eye Works.

The Eye Works Optometry in Downtown Napa is the only choice for my family and I. My 8 year old daughter LOVES going to see Dr. Sultan as do I. He is very thorough and knows his stuff!
The staff are all friendly and helpful. There are lots of good choices in selections of frames.

I had my first eye exam since grade school at The Eye Works with Dr. Sultan and he was so great. Very nice and informative. He has a great sense of humor so he makes you feel comfortable. I made my appointment based on previous Unilocal reviews and was very satisfied with my decision. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was perhaps, by far, the most relaxing, professional and entertaining eye appointment I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing (it ranks only #2 to my experience in Chinatown in NYC at that eye store. Now that was interesting!.)
I used to go elsewhere in Napa for my eye needs (contacts, glasses, eye exam) but felt like it was time to support a business downtown and try something new. Great choice! Highly recommend. In fact, several of my colleagues told me to go after they good experiences at EW (Eye Works).
Also, if you’re one of those people in the Valley who drives Tesla and wants flashy glasses, check them out. If I had the budget, I would definitely be wearing the ones with all the glitter and glam! Or if you’re like me and have no money but a little for glasses, then also check them out. Finally, equality for eyes and eyes with wallets. :P

Had an eye exam here, my first one ever. Dr. Sultan was really good about explaining the process as he went along and made it a very comfortable experience. He’s kind, funny, and honest. I didn’t think anyone could leave an optometrist without a prescription, but I did. The front office staff is great too. Definitely going back for any future visits and sending my family there when I need to.
