Staying at the resort our resident wine expert saved the best for last on our little couple day excursion last May while were out here to play Golf… the Library is located in an office park across the street from the main resort. Upon entering it is just that a large table in a library laid our perfectly with all cheese pairings and glasses ready to go… Our presenter was fun, informative and the ambiance was really nice… Some great wines starting with a Rose Champagne finishing with a big red Amarone made this one our favorite visits… Some of their wine is imported 100% as the vineyard above the resort produces only a small amount of grapes but I certainly enjoyed or visit here and certainly would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

We just had a super fun, informative, and intimate tasting with Thai. He was so knowledgable and laid back that it made our first wine tasting relaxed and we definitely would come back for another even with out the groupon! I recommend the cuvée!

I was told to come here for the champagne, I called to make a reservation and was told they could squeeze us in. Driving there we were stuck in traffic we called to say we were going to be late and were told my card was already charged and the cheese was already cut for us… arriving there if was more of a stuffy class not a fun wine tasting. The owner was the host and clearly makes the point of he does not need our money but wants people to join there wine club. I asked one question about the flavor and he seemed disgusted with my question. I am an owner with vino bello and a wine club member I now feel like canceling our membership and will never do another tasting at the library.

Trinitas wines are fantastic standing alone, but the ambiance of the Estate Cave, or the even more intimate Library setting, kicks it up to an unparalleled level. I recently set up a Trinitas wine tasting for my parents at their Library(they came into town from Florida for my wedding and I wanted to do something special for them — where they were the only guests). We started with a beautiful sauvignon blanc and were given a brief tour and story of the Trinitas passion and experience. From there, we were seated at a gorgeous table with 6 glasses of Trinitas wine in front of us to try, ranging from Chardonnay to Mysterium to the Meritage to the Amarone wine. The corresponding stories and inspirations behind each wine were truly spectacular, not to mention how good those wines actually are(the uniqueness of the Amarone here in the United States really sets this winery apart). My parents believe their experience at the Trinitas Library was by far their best Napa experience because of both the quality and intimacy. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get a deeper understanding of wine in a personalized setting!

I traveled to The Trinitas Library(i.e. the best kind of library) for the Crusher Games for the wineries in the area. The wine is fantastic, and the owners and staff left a great impression on everyone stopping by on the tour. The space is intimate but not small, the type of environment I would just as soon take some friends or family visiting the area to relax and see what Napa is all about, though I have strongly been considering it as a retreat for some business partners as well. I need to get back here!

First of all, I love Trinitas wines so I was very excited to see them expand their tasting selection. I came here in August for the Crusher Games — a tasting event for all the local wineries in the area(5 total). This event was so much fun — it started at the Library and then you walked to the other 4 wineries in the area. I spent about 30 minutes in the Library for that portion of the event. The Library is made up of several different areas — a main bar, a large formal dining room, and a smaller lounge area. The décor is really fun; there are old books on the tables and the tasting cards are all styled like library cards. On the walls are soil boxes and maps pointing out where each of the different grape varietals are grown — a cool way to educate people on what they’re drinking. The Trinitas staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and we even got to play ring toss with the owner, Garrett! Will definitely be coming back soon for the formal tasting!

We love the place. An intimate and very personal wine experience in the southern Napa Valley. The Library and its staff have a lot of knowledge to share with you about their lovely Trinitas wines. We really enjoyed learning about their displays of soils from the different vineyards throughout the area that produce the grapes they use to make their wonderful wine. We came home with some great wine to enjoy later. Definitely recommend this place!

Don’t let the address on Corporate Way fool you. A visit to the Trinitas Library is as far a departure from«work» as you can imagine! Hidden within a business park exterior is an inspired interior celebrating«Sun, Soil, and Humanity,» the Trinitas motto. When I taste wine, I am looking to have an experience. That is what owner Garrett and wine«Librarian» Lamar have provided in this unique setting. The first room you enter takes you on a journey from vine to wine, via a docent-led review of images capturing the maturation of the vines through harvest. The tour is intimate and I really enjoyed the Trinitas family history blended with the information about tending to the vines through the seasons. The space was illuminated with natural light, and truly showcased the«Sun» element. The next room was a favorite for our group. It featured a map wall with framed boxes of earth from various wine appellations where Trinitas sources their grapes(I didn’t take a picture because you must see it for yourself.) It is a most intriguing display. The soil boxes, map, wine bottles and the information shared by your wine expert will likely lead you to make an instant connection to the region, climate, and soil types that contribute to the foundation your favorite wines. It is a tribute to «Soil» (When I asked Lamar who came up with the beautiful concept he shared that it was a collaborative effort. That doesn’t surprise me at all, because the Trinitas team seems so cohesive.) The last room is where the magic happened. Several glasses spread before you so that each wine you taste stands alone. No water rinse, no inadvertent«blends» ;) You are supplied with a tasting notes card to jot notes on if you wish, cleverly packaged library cards noting the name, winemaker, vintage, price, region, barrel type, vineyard, alcohol content and ph of each wine you will be tasting. If you are lucky, you may go «off menu» and have a special treat like an archived or reserve wine in limited supply.(Lamar and team spare no expense in giving you a «VIP» feel at the tasting.) The room with its grand table, family photos, and canvas and leather bound books is in perfect harmony with«Humanity» when combined with the delicious wine offerings. Because what wine you prefer is personal, I won’t bore you with my favorites but I will say that everything you taste is available to take home. If you have the wine club membership your discount applies. If you love some of the Trinitas wines that you have tasted in the cave, but aren’t a part of this special tasting, they are available as well. Rebekah even ran out across the way to get 2 bottles of the favorite we always get. We went home with 6 bottles and our tasting partners with 4 bottles, all at a great price! I think it would be a shame to wrap this review without commenting on Lamar specifically. His knowledge, humor, and spirit further developed what was an unparalleled tasting experience on it’s own. Kudos to the management of this winery for pairing such great wine with such a stellar group of people to share it.
