My first experience with TJs was in Raleigh, NC. We were getting our first Trader Joes and people were excited. It was the talk of the town! When I walked in the door for the first time, I remember only being impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The vegan options, organic produce and bakery options were very limited. It was just a big room full of processed foods! Fast forward 6 years… Yes, it is still full of processed foods but the number of organic, vegan, bakery and whole foods options offered now has grown exponentially! And the prices are really good. I am often finding myself getting about half of my groceries here before heading to Whole Foods. I have found an organic tofu that is just as good as the Wildwood brand for much less. Tofurky«sausage», organic soy nice cream, a cheese-free pizza, dark chocolate and much more that are as good as(or better) than their name brand competitors! The wine and beer section is good sized and customer service is always happy to help me find vegan-friendly beer, cider and wine. The staff is still friendly and fun! The reason I can only give a 4 is because of the produce section. While the number of organic options has grown, much of the produce travels vast distances to get to us. It often goes bad almost as soon as I get home. And this ranges from the berries to the onions to the avocado. While I still sometimes get peppers and bananas from Trader Joes, I typically pay a little more and buy locally or from Whole Foods. With the cost of groceries being so high in California and the premium charged for organic, Trader Joes offers some much needed relief without having to compromise on the quality of the food.

LOVELOVEMYTRADERJOESSTORE! LOVETHEPRODUCTS, THEPRICE, ANDYESTHESERVICE! Love the employees too. I also like the food and coffee sample booth, I have discovered many new products that I would never try them if they didnt have a sample booth. Great job guys in promoting new items. The only thing I dislike is the parking lot! Its a mad house trying to get a parking here!

This is a smaller store but at least there is one in Napa! We love their cheese selection and they have nice flowers! The staff is as always so nice and helpful. The only negative is the parking here is not so good! It’s a small lot and there are quite a few great stores in this center so it makes it tough but still a good stop!

Not going to have everything that a family needs, however for singles and couples it is fantastic. Selection is definitely smaller then a regular grocery store, but they have all the essentials and there is no decision paralysis because of the many varieties. They strike a balance between quality and price, more so then any other chain that I know. Produce and Fruit are decent, and the price reflects very good value for what you get. The store members are very helpful and there is a no ask reason why return policy. Good selection of frozen food and many fresh produce with new things that pop up as the season changes. Overall, I come here probably way too much and there are probably god reasons why I always come back, there isn’t anything better at the moment.

I’ve been going to Trader Joe’s for years, in Ann Arbor. So happy to locate one in Napa.

It’s so convenient… right next door to Peet’s! Got me some tomatoes and something Indian(Totally addicted) The hustle and bustle is not too bad. Strollin’ in and then walking out was a breeze.

We usually hit up this Trader Joe’s when we are in the area to grab a few bottles of wine. They have some great Napa wines with the Trader Joe’s label that you can only find in Napa, and once they sell out they are gone forever, so if you love it stock up! The staff was very knowledgeable about their wine selection and gave us some good tips and recommendations.

For a single person on a budget TJS makes my life easy. I can get loads of groceries for cheap, and good healthy stuff too. The staff is friendly and helpful and I love the seasonal selections. Holiday cookies and gifts, candles and more. So lucky to have this store in our town.

Ughhhh, when will Hawaii get a Trader Joe’s? Every time I go to the mainland I always make sure to find time to visit a Trader Joe’s. It’s one of my favorite places to pick up food souvenirs for my friends and family back at home. My favorite items to pick up is: — COOKIEBUTTER — Butter Waffle Cookies — Speculoos Cookies — Mini Almond Biscotti

This is a smaller Trader Joes. The parking lot is madness. The store has everything you’d expect in a TJ.

This isn’t the best Trader Joe’s. Firstly loud bad music blaring in the store making me not want to shop there – other Trader Joe’s will either have that horrible noise off or will only have it at the door entrance and not inside. Then when I go in line, the place has supposed express lines for less items, but they let people with over 20 items go in them so it’s functionally that they have no express lines. So I’m stuck waiting with bad music blaring making my wait miserable so I can’t just space out like I could if they had it off. And then finally I see they don’t give bags for free anymore and charge – this is months before the horrible state law goes into effect and Trader Joe’s always did paper bags and didn’t used to charge 10 cents for what costs then far less than a penny for a supermarket to buy.

Trader Ming, Trader Jose, Trader Giotto… lots of crazy stereotyped names for their ethnic products. I get weird amusement about that. ANd the crazy cartoon things they have for their products. We picked up some chocolate from their vast array of choco selection… Friday nights might get a bit crazy after work hours but not as crazy as some of the other TJs I see

Trader Joe’s(TJ’s) frozen food aisle! That’s where it’s at. Love their garlic fries, fish nuggets, butter chicken, taquitos, tamales, and the list goes on. TJ’s also got a decent produce section and a variety of snacks as well. Absolutely nothing to be dissatisfied. Checkout was a breeze. Adequate checkout lanes were open. Customer service excellent!

The Napa Trader Joe’s is a very good grocery store. Excellent selection of food with an A+ for a very simple item, Pizza Dough. Homemade Pizza is so easy to make, and fortunately, can buy all the other ingredients there: their homemade pizza sauce, mozzarella, mushroom, and extra garlic. What else do you need? Ok, the basil from your garden. Give it a try, will not be disappointed.

I haven’t even lived in Napa for a week and I’ve been to this TJ several times already. It’s better(about 100 times better!) than the Fresno location but not Walnut Creek status yet. Maybe eventually when they get to know me and I get to know them they will be on that level. Most of the people are friendly(except that one dude that just seems to hate life) and pretty helpful and they always have what I’m looking for so no complaints.

Friendly staff and food at reasonable prices. It’s great they are carrying more vegan foods and labeling them as vegan, too. Although, a few of my vegan favorites have been missing the last few months(TJ-label Chocolate Chip cookies and the soy meatballs)… My biggest complaint about this store is I’ve been shopping and bringing my bags for years and I have never won a raffle. So, yah, no real complaints. :-)

Ive been shopping at TJ’s for years and Im old so that’s a might long time. The cool thing about this particular location is well, the location. Its in the same shopping center as Whole Foods and Target so if you need say Diet Coke(which neither TJ’s or WF sells) you can walk across the small parking lot to Target to get it. Yeah, yeah, this is about Trader Joe’s. The store is laid out well and the aisles are decently wide. They have the same array of great products you’ve come to know and expect from TJ’s. The folks working there are super friendly and of course helpful. The dark side of having so much coolness in one shopping center, the parking kind of sucks. Good luck trying to get a decent paring spot in front of TJ’s. Ive given up on trying and now just park on the other side closer to Target. If you don’t mind walking a little it saves the hassle of trying to secure a choice parking spot.

Went here a few weeks ago. Service was outstanding. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hey pumpkin lovers, Trader Joe’s has lots of pumpkin inspired treats for the season. The Greek style pumpkin yogurt is okay, but the pumpkin bread pudding in the freezer section is better. The pumpkin butter is good. Yet perhaps best of all is the pumpkin ice cream. So, delicious! Next time you have a craving for something pumpkin, try Trader Joe’s.

This is my favorite grocery stores in Napa. This is where I get my vegetables, bananas and milk on a weekly basis. Their samples always tend to make me buy more. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They also make sure the lines go rather quick. Make sure to shop here towards the close of the business or early in the morning. It gets pretty busy during mid-day and the weekends. The best thing are the prices never change!
