All you can eat fish and chips were pollock. 6 pieces per serving but not much flavor. Prime rib was fair but probably won’t be back. Both were priced at $ 10.95. Good service but not busy at all. Only one other table besides us.

Taste of Alaska is under new management. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The King Crab Benedict was amazing. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

I am glad I decided to eat here prior to reading reviews of others. I had much higher expectations and found them all met. The fish tasted flavorful fresh with a thin crisp breading which didn’t overwhelm or hide the fish. The staff made us feel welcome as though we were family returning home after an absence. At the same time I was notate to feel crowded by an oppressive omnipresence. Like its’ name, Alaska, I had a rich experience of people and food. Not pretentious nor stuffy.

Breakfast food was definitely edible. Service was slow but fairly friendly. Dinner food was gross. Not a fan. Been there twice so far. Probably would go back for breakfast(if I had a ton of time) but not for any other food.

Went here for breakfast today with a couple friends. I wasn’t particularly impressed. The food was sub-par IMO. I had skillet fried potatoes & gravy. Not the worst sausage gravy I have had, but close; no kick to it whatsoever. Had a sample of caribou sausage. It was ok. 1 server in the whole place, so I don’t think they will ever get swamped in that place. If they do, God help them. However, I doubt that will ever happen.

Don’t know where to start… Older lady working at the bar, rolling cookie dough with her bare hands then would lick her fingers after each cookie… no gloves on anyone working. Owner/cook was very dirty. Hash brown where raw, alittle of old gravy on top. Took forever to get served. People would walk behind the bar and visit with the cook and staff… help themselves… Older lady made a biscuit with honey then licked her fingers again… We told the owner, who said nothing, except how much of a tip we wanted to leave… Menu is small… health department should shut them down.
