This store is fantastic, if you are in need of crafty things stop inside. Just plan to be there for a while… they have the best selection of this and that and the highest quality available. I always find something new when I visit and I could walk around looking at everything for hours. It’s always hard to leave; stopping to look at something as I walk out the door then going back and buying it. The team is very friendly and helpful and its a positive vibe all around. Not surprising the customers are also cheery and its common to start up conversations with random fellow shoppers. I love all of the displays and examples, it helps steer you and gives you ideas. It’s cute to sit and make a gift card right there in the store, so if you need a gift card allow extra time to put it together. The prices aren’t low like other stores but again the quality is high. You get what you pay for and I’ve never balked at the total when buying. It’s also a much better customer experience than going to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s, I dread going to those other stores and I look for any excuse to trek to Oak Brook and visit this store. I don’t scrapbook but I do make cards and many other things and if this store was closer I’d be here often. Today I need more washi tape so I’m excited to pay a visit. Probably should eat first in case I linger…

I worked here for a while. I had a great time. The people are very nice and helpful. The classes are very informative. They have a very good selection of scrap booking paper. They also can make great photos of any size. The back room has a lot of room to work. They also have a kitchen for customers to use while they spend time making there scrapbooks. It was a great place to work! I just could not stand on my feet all day. If you google it to find directions it is not correct. It is at the corner of Aurora Ave. and route 59 behind the furniture store, next to HH Greg. Thanks Vivian

I’ve been here a few times and I only go when I need something specific that I can’t find at Michael’s or Joanne’s. This place is always very tidy and the workers are pleasant and helpful. The prices are typically higher than other craft stores but also has a lot of specific scrap-booking items you can’t find elsewhere. Nice place to get something specific, but this isn’t my main craft supply store.

I have only recently started to go to this location, but they are just as amazing as all the other locations I’ve ever visited. This store seems a bit smaller than the Downers Grove location, but still has everything I’m looking for. The staff that works here is always helpful in helping me find a particular paper I need, or help me with ideas on how to finish embellishing card. The nice part about this location is it is not nearly as crowded. If I just need to run in quick a grab a pack of envelopes, I can be in and out in 2 minutes. I haven’t gone to a Scrap Mania here yet, but that’s the next thing on my list.

I’m surprised that another review hasn’t been written yet. Maybe the other people that shop here are too busy actually working on their scrapbooks to Unilocal. This has been my go-to place for emergency help and they have been fantastic. Need more tape? They’re open until 9 M-Sat. Need stickers and paper for a 60th anniversary? Check. Need help adding pages to an album you bought at a completely different store??? They are willing to lend a hand. Anyone I’ve encountered has been wonderful… there are heaps of supplies and tools I really have no idea how to use. They have classes and events if I had the time. I haven’t really found any place to compare it to. If you need a good gift idea, try stopping here to pick up the supplies to either make a scrapbook or give a ‘starter kit’ to someone else!
