This place never fails to deliver. Pizza is always good. Never undercooked. Great place to take kids.

No. This place is always closed. One day they have a sign on the door touting technical problems and then a different day brings signage proclaiming possible new ownership. Goodbye Armands, you suck.

I had a groupon here(essentially 50% off) and was not disappointed! My husband and I split a cheese calzone and a Quatro Formaggi Pizza Nova with sausage. The pizza was amazing… delicate crust, perfect amount of cheese to sausage ratio. The calzone was the biggest one we’ve ever had, and while the crust was great, the sauce was just so so. Great prices here. Convenient location for us. We’d go here again for some takeout. I will also add that we used this for carryout and the service on the phone as well as picking up the food was exceptional.

We should have known something was up when we walked in here on a Saturday night and there was only one other person sitting down. The guy working the counter was not friendly. He almost seemed to be upset that he was at work. The pizza was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was extremely hard and there was not enough cheese on the pie. There was just something ‘off’ about it. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I can only speak to carry out, because that’s all I’ve had from here. AND, if this place is carry out only, I’m about to be really embarrassed. But anyhow, I’ve eaten pizza from here during their awesome BOGO deal on their thin crust pizzas on Tuesday. Did you hear that, buy one thin crust, get one thin crust for free!!! Tuesday. Do it. With that said, it’s solid thin crust: a little burnt, a little bit of cornmeal on the bottom, totally decent sauce and toppings. It’s good! But kind of expensive and not quite worth it without the BOGO deal. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to jump on my BOGO stick and bounce out of this review. Because seriously, how many times did I say BOGO? Kind of lame.

The pizza is quite tasty, the well done, corn meal dough adds great texture to a delicious pie. The garlic bread was a miss, but overall a great place to grab a slice.

Not as good as the original Armand’s(Grand Ave), but it’s as close as it gets. Armand’s is old school thin crust pizza, which means the edges of the crust are going to be burnt and that the sauce used isn’t going to taste as sweet or tangy as the sauce used at other places because unlike other places, everything here is 100% all natural. No preservatives! I highly recommend the Elmwood Park Combo(Sausage, Italian Beef and Hot Giardinara) Staff is also very friendly and attentative I would give it five stars, but it is a little pricey.

Love this place! The original was in Elmwood Park where I grew up. The pizza here is just as good as I remember. We make a trip either weekly or every other week for a slice of pizza. The slices are huge and I can never eat a whole one. A slice(about ¼ of a medium pizza) and a drink are just $ 4. Their pizzas are a little pricey, but worth the drive and the money in my opinion. The Elmwood Park is my favorite(sausage, italian beef and hot giardiniera). I just wish they had more variety on slices on the weekends. I understand to have the typical sellers, sausage, cheese and pepperoni, but they have so many great specialty pizzas that I wish they would have those offered as slices more often.

I stopped in this new pizza place while out shopping to see if it was any good. They had a number of different pizzas that were already made that you could have a slice of. I did like that for about $ 4, you could get a slice(which is really about 2 slices) and a drink. I went with the pepperoni. They did put my slice back in the oven to warm it up a bit and then I sat down and started eating. The pizza wasn’t bad, but it was by no means outstanding pizza either. They did have a menu of all sorts of pizza place regulars — sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc. If I was in the area, I might stop because it is a good deal — but not something that I would go out of my way to eat.

The average person never eats just 1 slice of pizza, but if you are eating at Armand’s Pizzeria; all your going to need is one slice. Brining one of the best deals in the area: — 1 Slice(which is huge) and 1 fountain drink(free refills) for under $ 4 Not to mention all the individuals who work there seem to be a down to earth bunch of guys who love what they do! I would rather eat here than any other common pizza place within the Naperville/Aurora area. If your in the mood for Pizza, eat Armand’s

Here’s the deal, We loved the original Armand’s. We tried the St Charles location and have been to the one in Elmhurst. This place resembles nothing like the Armand’s we have known. It is a travesty that they are able to use the name… It reminded me of a badly run Sbarro in the mall. The guys working there must be on work release from Joilet. We weren’t looking for pizza and a slice for under $ 4. We were anticipating a Melrose salad and a good artichoke. The artichoke looked like someone sat on it. It ws so greasy we couldn’t eat it. Our tomato mozzarella sandwiches were horrible. Even the pizza was nasty, sitting under heat lamps. Call first if you plan to try this place. They will be out of business soon.

Good pizza, great price. Salads are huge and very fresh. Ribs are good too. I will definitely take the kids back for slice and a pop for under $ 4!

Totally bummed after our visit here. Bought the Groupon as a loyal fan of the Elmwood Park Armands Employees were not attentive, and could not explain what our options were on the groupon. Their paper-thin pizza was burnt, and soggy in the middle with grease pools. Overall, extremely disappointed by the lack of service, terrible food, and lack of quality that used to be Armands

The sausage pizza is nothing to rave about, but it’s better than other pizza places in the immediate area. Toppings are generous. Counter service could use a smile or something. I’m not sure I’ll go back though, my favorites are still Rosati’s and Lou Malnati’s.

We we in there last Monday night. We bought a groupon and were excited to use it. When we walked in not one person greeted us. The girl standing behind the counter just starred at me. There was also a guy standing behind her that didn’t even look up from his phone. The pizza was average, but the service was horrible! Once the pizza was brought out, we never saw our waitress again. When we left not even a goodbye! We won’t be back!

My parents were raving about this pizza, so I stopped in for a pie one night when we were low on groceries. That is one good pizza. I really enjoyed the thin crispy crust and the more than generous toppings. The sausage is my favorite by far. We also tried a combo sandwich. It was HUGE and easily fed 2 adults. The stuffed artichoke was nothing special, but not bad. I think I just don’t really care for them. Happily, we live in their delivery area, so I have a feeling we’ll become well acquainted.

We never tried Pizza Fusion when it was open in this location, but we just tried Armand’s over the weekend and it is delicious. We split a 10 inch Aloha Pizza Nova. The crust was thin and crispy, brushed with a light olive oil based. Generous toppings of ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella. My wife says this is the closest to true Italy-style pizza that she’s had. They also have sandwiches, calzones, pizza by the slice, and beer and wine. We may make this a weekend tradition.

If you are female and are considering applying for a job here, don’t bother unless you have a fake orange tan. I’m convinced it’s a prerequisite they have. Anyway. My sister lives in the area and continually says this is some of the best thin crust pizza she’s had in a while. I was intrigued. And I have to say, it’s pretty damn good. My only complaint is that it’s extremely greasy. There was actually a pool of grease on a few of the slices. My advice: if you’ve been trying to wean yourself off greasy food and choose to eat here, bring your most effective digestive system medication. Great pizza, but very intense on the grease.

Armand’s took over the spot previously filled by Pizza Fusion. Pizza Fusion invested in eco-friendly everything, from the Toto low-flow toilets and Dyson Air Blade dryers in the restrooms to bamboo wood flooring in the dining room. They even left behind their über-fancy pizza oven. So, in this respect, Pizza Fusion’s loss is Armand’s gain. We dined here a few days ago and had two pies: one was a «Pizza Nova,» meaning no red sauce, and the other was a standard thin crust cheese. The Pizza Nova we chose had artichoke hearts, Fontinella cheese, and red roasted peppers. Not much flavor with this one. The thin crust cheese pizza, on the other hand, was a winner. Something about the flavor was very familiar and comforting. I would definitely get it again. Also, as of right now, there was signage in the restaurant stating that on Monday and Tuesday nights the whole pizzas were two for the price of one. Of course, always check beforehand as they may change their specials. Also note, it seems like they have pizza by the slice all day long. When you first come in, there were three or four pizzas cut in slices in the case next to the registers(with hot lamps).
