Good strictly for chat only, though they have a big menu

Really good fast Indian food. It’s vegetarian only, but the flavors are so good you won’t miss the meat. I recommend trying a little bit of everything to figure what you like best.

The food tastes decent, I would not say that it is the best. The quantity of food is really poor. Overall, making this restaurant two stars. The value for the amount of food received is poor. We got the weekend special which is basically the regular chole Puri but the quantity was less than half of that. Will not be returning.

This place is among the best vegetarian Indian restaurants in the Chicago area! On par with everything you’ll find on Devon Ave in the city. A real treasure for the western suburbs. Don’t shy away from it because everything is meatless. I’m as big of a carnivore as they come, but have found that when it comes to Indian food specifically, I prefer to eat vegetarian. There is so much variety, textures and flavors that you won’t even miss the meat. Now stop reading and go eat there!

The food is good and the quality of the food is also good. This is a great chat shop with a lot of different varieties including entrée items. Love the food here and we prefer this to any other Indian restaurant nearby. Their Dahi Puri and Fresh squeezed carrot juice were awesome! Been there quite a few times and would definitely go there again and again especially for the juice.

Excellent fresh khakara! Taste just like the fresh ones I get from India. Also tried the fresh mixes and papdi, all of it was delicious! Not overally spiced and oily– just perfect.

They are absolutely incredible! I recommend you bring your own plate because they use styrofoam plates. The only reason I gave them a 5 instead of a 4 is because they were so nice about letting us use our own plates. I’m not a huge spicy lover and I explained that to the man but it was just spicy enough. Be prepared if you really don’t like much spicy.

If you want authentic Indian street food(vegetarian), this is the place to be. The owners are great, and the food is very reasonably priced. My favorite is the Papdi chaat!

All-vegetarian South Indian place with many vegan options. If you’re not very familiar with the cuisine, there won’t be much to guide you, but there isn’t much to go wrong taste-wise, so just make a choice and be pleasantly surprised. The staff seem to know what has dairy and what doesn’t. I was a little worried when I saw a thick white liquid all over my food, but it was coconut chutney and not yogurt. Went with a picky preschooler who seemed to do alright here, but YMMV. I liked everything I tried, especially the sliced dosa with the coconut chutney on top, I think it was called the Dosa Chaat. Said toddler liked the pani puri(«they’re like chips») and chickpeas. It’s kind of small, more like a fast food place. The shop in the same space adds to the food court vibe. If you don’t want a meal, definitely stop by for dessert. The boondi is very good, and we also liked the jalebi. Both were vegan.

Awesome samosa chat and choke batora. Loved it. Authentic North Indian style. Pure veg. Little pricy but worth paying for taste.

I hit this place for lunch from time to time. I don’t claim to know much about Indian street food but I like their food, especially the masala dosa(lentil soup with a lentil crêpe) and chile puri(spicy chickpeas with fried bread). The interior is unexpected, they sell votive art, jewelry and other random things.

Dabelis, chole puri, Indian-ized pizza(yes.it exists!), pulao, Thumbs Up, vada pav, dahi chaat, Papdi chaat and sumptuous indian subzis. Chataka masti has it all and does a really good job! We always stop by this indian fast food joint quietly tucked away on McCoy drive when we need a quick bite. But don’t think this place only serves fast good. Try their veg thali(plate) which comes with options of roti or poori with 2 entrees and pulao. I am big fan of their raita(yogurt with mint/cilantro). Don’t miss the kulfi that they serve. It is a very good way to end your meal here. I have also tried the Indo-Chinese they serve, not the best in Naperville, but then again, it is not the cuisine I am looking forward to when I am visiting Chataka masti. The owners are courteous and take orders over the phone so it can be ready when you arrive. Overall a pretty neat place and definitely bang for your buck!

Food is tasty and service is with a smile, and fast. Don’t look for ambience here, it’s a fast food place. Authentic family owned gujrati Indian restaurant, only vegetarian.

Been here a number of times when we didn’t want to take a trip down to Devon St. But wanted to halwa puri for breakfast. The staff is nice and friendly and the food is good. Good seating options and can accommodate mid-large groups. The food has tasted fresh each time. Their prices are a bit higher but that is expected since it’s away from the city.

The place is a bit dingy but the chat is very good. Been there a few times now and each time the food had been delicious. They could pay a bit more attention to service and ambience.

Very oily food, less quantity, not tasty at all. Will never come back here. I do not recommend this restaurant to any body. Do not waste your money here.

The Indian snacks sold here are certainly popular among Indian people. I have been here twice. The prices are moderate and the food they serve are mostly snack items and a few(limited) meal items. The food is OK for the price one pays. However, I would not recommend this place because of the cleanliness factor. Too dirty for my liking. Not worth having flies buzz around your ear when you are trying to enjoy samosas!

Good place to have some chaat… decent cold and crispy bhel puri, dabeli(best one I ate in Illinois) and dahi puri made with fresh, cold and sweet dahi. there are places in Devon where we had sour dahi puri and I absolutely hate sour dahi … A must try place for indian chaat…

Nice people and wonderful vegetarian food. I often just go in and tell him what Im feeling like having and he makes me whatever he thinks I like. I have not been disappointed yet. Its connected to a store that sells tchotchkes and other items, so if you also want to pick up some jewelry or a candle you are in luck. :) I think the 1 star review is harsh as Ive had lots of India food and these are at my top. Besides is been a few years so maybe they’ve just improved. Anyway, Im always happily surprised by what he has. Try the Ice Cream YUM!

Bhelpuri and Chat are good. Wraps are indian version of burrito. Wraps have rice, salad and meat or veggies in them. Taste is average Prices is comparably on the higher side.
