I don’t get my hair done here because I find it to be a little too pricey but whenever I go for my eyebrows I always receive excellent customer service. The best part about going is seeing MiMi! She is the BEST at waxing my eyebrows and I have been going to here for almost 10 years or so! I don’t go on a regular basis but every time I go we pick up our conversation where we left off. She has an all around great attitude and I am never disappointed when I leave!

Chona is the best in taking knots and stress away. Only have had 2 sessions of massage and acupuncture, hooked on how great it feels. Thanks Czar for having an expert in Chona on staff.

I have only had a few people cut my hair over the last ten years, only one in the last five. I ended up going to C’zar in Naperville at the last minute, somewhat by accident, and I think I found a new home.
I have always found it a bit stressful dealing with the process of explaining style preferences and finding someone who really listens, but also has an eye for making things even better.

I’ve been here a few times when I’ve decided very last-​minute to get my hair done for the several weddings I’ve gone to this summer. My normal place (which I love!) has been booked, but it’s been easy to get an appointment at C’zar, which is great for my procrastination! I’ve had my hair styled twice, had my makeup done, gotten facial waxing and a mani/​pedi. All of the people I’ve gone to have been wonderful and have done a great job. This is also an Aveda Salon so I’ve started to use some of their skin products, at the recommendation of the girl who did my facial waxing, which my skin has appreciated. I would really recommend this for a solid place for your beauty needs, especially if you need an appointment in a pinch!

Eric is an amazing guy, they have Aveda, and the staff are very pleasant. Family run business and I can’t say enough positive things about the place. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

I have been to both the Bolingbrook and Naperville locations. Always excellent service! I highly recommend either salon as some stylists go to both locations. They have a great line of Aveda products for skin and hair. They also carry make-​up. I had a different stylist previously that left for a different career, I was nervous about trying someone new. I went with Jordan and have absolutely no regrets. I love that he makes sure he knows what you want and goes the extra mile to make sure his clients get that salon experience! If you haven’t tried him out, please do!

I recently went for a service at this spa because I received a gift card from a very close friend. What a wonderful pleasant surprise. I was there on a Wednesday and did not experience any noise problem. It was a very relaxing experience and I had Kyra and she was great! The victorian house is very quaint and cozy nestled across the street from the Naperville library. The service was wonderful a very nice treat. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely go back here!!! Well worth it!!!

Came to this salon for the first time and was impressed by the nice cozy feel of the salon. The salon was clean and offers complementary drinks while you wait. My stylist was Jenny Yoon. She was great, she takes her time and I don’t feel like I was being rushed out the door. My hair looks and feels great. I am coming back for sure! Plus you can’t beat the location, it’s a great place to go shopping before and after. I would highly recommend booking a girls spa day with some friends.

Fantastic spa. Great atmosphere and energy. I got a great massage from Stella, and I was also able to bring home a few samples of their hair products. The only issue is the parking. I drove around for a half hour looking for parking. If I’d known to expect that, it would have been ok, but by the time I finally found a spot, I was pretty aggravated. Luckily I was going in for a massage.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful salon and spa. I love the new location. The owners are friendly and personable. Laura is a wonderful massage therapist. Kyra offers the best manicures and pedicures in the area. You can not go wrong with any of the stylists.
Yvette is an artist with scissors and brush for my crazy curly hair! Jess, Annie, Gina Marie, and Amanda are awesome at their craft. Last but certainly not least are Mimi facials. They are relaxing and restorative.
Aveda products are the best. From the moment you walk in you are enveloped in warm and professional experience. I have enjoyed my time at Aveda for the last 15 years!

Where do I begin. I have been going to C’zars for a couple years now and they never cease to amaze me with there professionalism and high quality treatment. Every staff member I encounter greets me with a smile and is constantly asking me if I need anything. If you want to be pampered to thee utmost extent this is the salon and/​or spa for you. Both locations are gorgeous and have a very welcoming and comforting environment. They do an amazing job making you feel like they are all there to please you. Not to mention my hair looks and feels amazing!

After accidentally flaking out on stylist Eric, not once but twice in a row, I was not off to the best start. That was nearly two years ago and thankfully he did not hold it against me. Eventually, I did get my daughter there and I’m pretty sure she secretly drooled over him; although, she’d never own up to it. Sorry, ladies. He’s taken.
Eric is really fantastic. Very talented stylist. Very cool with his combat boots and his tool belt to hold his styling tools. A great choice for anybody, but I imagine he has women lined up to see him. I’ve noticed he also has a fair amount of teenage boys who go to him. Very likely for both his edgy talent and the fact that he would be able to participate in «guy talk» which would put a teenage boy at ease. I’ve never seen him be anything but smiling. –Even when I sat near his customer who would not stop droning on and on about her vacation, making him look at a million of her pics. He didn’t flinch. I on the other hand wanted to ask her why she hated us all so much and to put the iPad away. ;)
A beautiful Aveda salon and day spa in downtown Naper. The ladies at the appointment desk friendly and welcoming. Located directly across from the Naperville Public Library, parking is not ideal. Parallel parking all down the street or a small lot around the corner. I’m sure some try to sneak a spot at the library but some of those spots have 2 hr time limits which is pushing it for a salon visit for a female. Park there at your own risk. ;)

I had highlights put in my hair at this salon and it completely fried my hair. It came out in clumps. It has been a year and a half and I still have a lot of hair to grow out. I have had the same treatment for 4 years with no problems, the only difference is I moved and changed techniciians. Maybe some training is in order.

Going to C’zar Hair Design & Day Spa is like taking a mini-​vacation! You leave feeling refreshed and looking great! I recommend both the salons in Naperville and Bolingbrook, IL. True design professionals dedicated to helping you look current and ‘sharp’.

So, I went to the old location looong ago, but didn’t return because of the noise issue (the massage/​facials rooms were barely separated from the salon, with no sound barrier = no relaxation when you can hear all the raucous noise from the salon).
But they moved recently, to a big old house on Jefferson, and since I love Aveda products (which they use), I figured it was a good time to give them another shot.
I was a little nervous because the salon area (when you first walk in) is really LOUD! Also, I was kind of left hanging when I went to check in and the receptionist walked away. The whole beginning of the experience was a little discombobulating, which made me anxious.
Gladly, that dissipated when I was collected by my aesthetician, Laura. We went upstairs, where it is blessedly QUIET! The new building has clearly killed off the noise problem! Hurrah! (oops, sorry…*whispers* hurrah)
She tamed my anxiety with an initial hand massage while discussing the issues I have skin wise and then went to work. The experience was very relaxing, and even the extractions (i.e. getting the gunk out of your clogged pores, ick) was barely noticeable, so she has some kind of great technique going on there.
The only negative I will say (as with anything downtown) is parking. The spa itself has a couple of spots wedged in behind it, if they are free, and there is a city lot in front of the library, if you can find one available there, plus street parking, but it’s usually pretty crazy right at that particular corner. Don’t forget the parking garage a block away. Depending on what you find, you’ll have a 1 to 3 hour block of time (and they do monitor parking downtown!)
Overall, though, this is a much preferable location for all your aesthetic and Aveda needs! See you at C’zar!

This was my first time visiting the salon and I was very impressed! The staff was all very friendly and very concerned with my well being. I was offered both a beverage and a snack upon arrival. I have been to a few Aveda salons and have yet to have this good of an overall experience.
This was also my first time getting my hair dyed so I was nervous about the while thing in general. I went for an ombré look, and Katie did a phenomenal job! I was very very pleased!
The only complaint I have, hence why I have it a score of 4, is that it was way more money than I expected. I have never gotten my hair dyed before, so I guess I didn’t know what to fully expect, but when the last checking me out told me that the bill was $ 115 without tip I was shocked. I literally only got ombré and a blow out… No cut or style. So I was shocked to say the least. But it was an overall great experience and I will definitely go back to Katie for my next hair cut and ombré!

I have been going to see Debbie for several years now, but unfortunately will not be going back. :(
The Good:
Debbie is great at what she does! She takes her time to talk with you and makes excellent suggestions for what color or cut would look best. Also, she is a great person to talk with during the cut. I even went to them for my wedding and my girls and I all looked great!!!
The Bad:
Lately, every time I have gone to the salon, they have been running 30 to 60 minutes late. Then, in order to get to the next person after you, she passes you off to anyone who is free to dry your hair. I travel to get to Naperville, always arrive on time, and then felt like I was being pushed off. I’m not sure if they are not leaving enough time to finish appointments or why Debbie is always late, but for the price I pay, I expected my stylist to finish my hair.
I hope they improve their service and timing. It’s really hard to continue going somewhere that expensive that is always so far behind.
