I’m so disappointed with these nachos!!! It use to be so good but since they changed the name and I’m assuming owners and cooks, this is the saddest nachos I ever seen and I was looking so forward to them… I don’t even know what this mess is. Like who puts whole tomato slices on a nacho??? It should be diced! And what happened to the nacho cheese??? Is this mozzarella cheese??? So disappointed. Next time I will stick with Sol Fiesta on 75 even if I have to drive out of my way. Just look at the different nacho pictures!!! One looks oh so delicious and the other just makes me want to cry! Never again! Your in my do not eat here list. Never again

Good sized portions, clean. Food was fresh; the guac, salsa, meats and sides. Friendly wait staff. Food was yummy; had pork tacos, sope, carne asada and ate it all. Affordable prices. Will definitely come back.

My friend and I had a fantastic lunch today at EBL. I had a Chile Relano Burrito and my friend had a Chorizo Torta. My burrito gave me a lady food boner! I was over the moon ecstatic-perfect combination of fresh, greasy and flavorful… everything you would want in a burrito. I would describe my friend’s Torta as a Mexican Sloppy Joe’ esque’ sandwich. Delicious bread with copious amounts of flavorful Chorizo. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised by today’s lunch.

I would give no stars if possible! I have never been here and will not go back. Service was awful! You guys messed up my order, then accused me of ordering wrong when the cashier made the mistake. I ordered CHICKEN tacos and when they came out I had no idea what it was. I simply took it back to the counter and explained I only wanted chicken and cheese and she told me I ordered something I couldn’t even pronounce! How did I order something I can’t even say. I absolutely hate when people fight back, just replace it. Don’t accuse me of ordering wrong and make me feel dumb when I clearly said chicken. It didn’t bother me that they messed up the order until the cashier started arguing with me. Clearly, she needs to be trained on how to handle customer complaints correctly.

Love this place — the only complaint is a wish they were open later. I get taco cravings late :)

Everyone I came with seemed to enjoy their meals and portion sizes are huge. The food also came out really fast. Out of the 8 of us, only 1 person was able to completely finish his meal. Complimentary chips and salsa were included, but the salsa was so liquidy to the point that it was almost like salsa-flavored water.

Terrible food and even worse service today. Got a steak burrito with meat that tasted spoiled. Lady who took my order gave me snotty look because I asked for a to go cup for my ice water? I ate there about a month ago and had nachos(not impressed), service ok then, but never again after today.

THISPLACEISAMAZING!!! I literally eat here 3 times a week… no joke! I LOVETHEFOOD, best Mexican in town :) The interior is a little old & there really is no atmosphere but it makes up for what it lacks in great good & great service.

Yess!!! Found a good Mexican place right by us — finally! We had burritos, tacos, guac and chips, enchiladas and rice and beans. It was great! They also have a drive thru, which next time we will definitely use. If you do decide to dine inside, it looks very well taken care of and clean.

I was really happy to see El Burrito open up in this strip mall. A sign that times are changing and businesses are opening up again! Clean atmosphere and everything is made to order. YUM! They’re open until 10pm during the weekend and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Rating: 2.9 Short description: Cheap Mexican place Pluses: Been here twice, has been okay. Super fast, decent enough, about what you would expect. Negatives: About what you’d expect from a cheap Mexican place. Not the freshest of ingredients all the time. Recommendations: none

Food here is good. I had the potato tacos when they were 99 cents. Those were good for the price. If you’re looking for really good Mexican I recommend Jalepeno Grille on 59. It’s a little more pricey but the food is worth it!

The first time I went, I ordered a steak burrito with avocado and received a shrimp burrito with no avocado. They had just opened, so whatever. I let it slide, also because it was really tasty. The second time I got a taco salad. The shell was very stale and there was, again, no avocado on it. It was pretty darn bland. I dunno, I guess I could give them another chance(three strikes and you are out). The one positive: I tried elote(corn in a cup with some kind of cream sauce and spices) for the first time, and it was excellent. It legitimately came in a styrofoam drink cup(awesome), so I felt like I was getting it from a street vendor. I didn’t come here expecting the world, but I’m an enormous fan of El Famous Burrito(some may say its the same thing), and they have rarely disappointed me. So I hope that Burrito Loco will get it together and give me the same satisfaction, especially since it is MUCH closer to me. *I should also note, I’m not just basing my opinion on the two times I went there. My husband has gone separate from me, and he has yet to receive an order exactly the way he wanted it. It has come in the form of either not receiving avocado or getting the wrong meat on his tacos.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had El Burrito Loco. I’ve been to so many Mexican places with similar names, they all seem to run together after a while. After driving around for twenty minutes today for lunch, I decided to give EBL a shot. I ordered a single chorizo taco in a corn tortilla, with onion and cilantro only. I also ordered a side of rice. After paying, I received my order almost immediately. I was surprised, as it was the 12:30 lunch rush and I figured I’d be waiting a little bit, even for a to-go order. I arrived back to the work parking lot, and unwrapped my food. The taco was perfect — stuffed full of chorizo, piping hot, and lots of onion and cilantro. There was a lot of grease, but that’s expected from the chorizo. I would have been worried if there wasn’t much grease. Dry chorizo= yucky chorizo. The rice was great, too. After pouring some mild green salsa on it, I immediately tasted my favorite rice from Los Burritos Tapatios(my old«go to» Mexican place in Glen Ellyn, when I lived in Wheaton). I was happy. Despite the horrific attempts to exit the parking lot(good luck trying to turn left onto Ogden), I will definitely call El Burrito Loco my new Go-To spot. The price is right, the employees were friendly, service was fast, and the food was fabulous.
