I’ve stopped at this location twice and both times I’ve been very impressed. The service during my past visit was excellent. I ordered the espresso monterosa which is comprised of berry compote, condensed milk, espresso and 2 hopped cream. When the young man who was serving me went to make it he realized that they didn’t have condensed milk so he asked if he could substitute for white chocolate which was very, very, good. He then brought me a complementary espresso nocciolato since they had not had the condensed milk. I was very surprised, especially since I was very happy with the substitution he had made. This extra mile in service was noticed and very appreciated. The store itself is clean and welcoming. There are food options that would be great for lunch. They also serve Gelato and and lemoncello. Yum!

What a disappointment! The girl who made my coffee put a filthy spoon inside to mix in the soy milk. I told her to remake it and told her that if the health department came in they would get a citation. Makes me wonder what else goes on here, she got caught

There aren’t many places in the U.S. where you can get European hot chocolate. So happy to have found this café. They have a punch card for both drinks and food. Friendly service. Great place to study

So sloooow. I’ve been waiting for my breakfast sandwich for ½hr now. I already finished my coffee(which was not even the drink I ordered). I’m going to have to leave without it so I can’t even give you a review on the food.

The pistachio flavored ice cream I tried was okay. It wasn’t quite the flavor I expected compared to other ice cream places. But after eating more scoops, you get used to it and can find some delight in the taste.

Great coffee selections with equal taste. The employee was very pleasant too. My only complaint is that the seating is a little too spread apart for quiet conversation.

So this seems to be a trend, but I waited until the last day of my final rotation in PA school to go to this coffee shop. I don’t live terribly close, so I wouldn’t have come here on a day not in the area. But, it just so happens that my rotation was at the Dermatology Institute/Dupage Medical Group and it is right there. So, I guess I had to stop eventually. It is beautiful and modern on the inside, making me wish I had more time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It would be a great place to study or work. At 7 am there was only one other person there. The cashier was friendly and I received my latte quickly. I am just a plain old café latte girl, but the orange mocha did sound tempting. But, it was 7 am and way too early for something that sweet. The latte was delicious and I would go back if in the area. Or, I wish there was one in the area closer to me. I would love to come back for affogato, for which I am an aficionado.

Outstanding coffee, outstanding service, true Italian Gelato, delicious food items and a store design straight from Italy. It’s just a sweet little coffee shop attached to the Hotel Arista in Naperville just off I-88&RT59. The fragrance of fresh espresso takes you right back to The Ponte Vecchio. Stop here on the way to work and have a standing double espresso and stop on the way home from work and bring home some pistachio gelato for dessert. Bravissimo !

Service with a smile! We love this lavazza! Great atmosphere and their coffee is tasty! Starbucks = burned beans! Dunkin donuts = not enough flavor. Lavazza is great taste in beautiful space with super friendly service. :) Keep it up!

I’ll say first why I have docked this place one star: it is kind of, really, out of the way. It’s in a business complex in the middle of nowhere, while it could get a lot more customers somewhere like downtown or even anywhere on rt 59 or 75th street. Anyway, other than that, it’s perfect. I has a nice, modern interior aesthetic with cool curvy chairs and a simple color scheme. The look was a bit different from the LavAzzas I’ve encountered in Europe and Turkey. Also, extremely clean. I’m not a huge fan of dirty, old cafés with mismatching chairs with peeling cushions. Their espresso drinks(I had a cappuccino and macchiato) are the usual fare for LavAzza, nice, simple, and more delicious than anything you can get in a Chicago suburb. Prices are all really good. They have a good selection of gelato as well, and a section by the register where you can buy an assortment of beans, mugs, latte cups, and cappuccino cup/plate sets. So aside from the location, which is basically in Warrenville and not Naperville, this place is perfect.

Adjacent to the Hotel Arista, this Lavazza location is a great, quiet addition to Naperville. Whenever I come to the burbs, this is my place to go. The coffee, food and gelato options are all delicious. The staff is really friendly and they keep the facility nice and clean. My *only* complaint is there every time I have come here, it’s FREEZING! Whenever I mention this to the staff, they tell me that there is a problem with the AC unit and that engineering is working on fixing it. I guess it’s a reoccurring problem. I have just learned to bring something to use as a blanket while I do my work. Parking is plentiful around the hotel. There’s no struggle to find paid parking like at the downtown locations. Having been a former employee of the Hotel Arista many years ago(hotel front desk and gym front desk), I firmly believe that including this coffee shop next door was a smart move by Calamos. It wasn’t around when I was an employee, so I’m not totally sure how long it’s been in existence. Maybe within the last 2 – 3 years or so. Anyway, I’m a huge fan and the fact that it’s a sweet 2 minute drive from my dad’s house is a big convenience plus.

Thanks to all the interesting places in Wheaton being closed on Sundays(blech), I was forced to discover a new spot a while back. Not too many tears were shed, though, as I soon discovered my bookmark for Lavazza in an area of Naperville that I don’t often pass. My first impressions of the shop were of cleanliness and simplicity, and a corresponding lack of warm fuzziness. While I do love a clean environment, I have a soft spot for coziness and worn furniture. No matter, we soon encountered the barista, who(on a Sunday early evening) was warm and fuzzy enough to make up for the somewhat sterile atmosphere. My drink(a cappuccino) was pleasing, and my sister enjoyed her mocha. I ordered a croissant, even though they looked a bit odd, and I should have trusted my instinct. Not a typical flaky, airy croissant at all, but an oddly dense, greasy imposter. Definitely room for improvement there. I’d like to come back to try the gelato and some of the Italian, dessert-style drinks. The pictures looks intriguing. I recommend checking out Lavassa, just skip the croissant.

I’ve had this spot bookmarked for a while now, so I’m very happy I finally stopped by today! I actually had my first visit at the dermatologist next store, so I was pleasantly surprised to realize this is the exact spot where the Naperville Lavazza was located. I have been to their location in the city once, but just for a quick sandwich. Today was my first experience with their coffee and espresso treats. That’s right… ESPRESSO. TREATS. Two of my favorite things. I ordered the Espresso Autumnale(seemed fitting for this time of year). This little morsel of heaven must have been sent down by the coffee gods themselves. It’s the cutest little shot glass filled with espresso, chocolate, Carmel, whipped cream and apples. WOW. Just wow. Such a marvelous little indulgence. Like the coffee addict that I am, I of course got a classic black coffee to accompany my treat. Usually I add in milk, sugar or something flavored to my coffee, but honestly after one sip of Lavazza coffee all it really needed was just a pinch of sugar. It was so bold, rich and smooth. Very delicious. The décor is awesome. Very trendy with awesome Italian art. This location has outdoor seating too which is always a plus! The guy who took my order was very knowledgeable in their menu. He walked me through the different items they have and even offered up suggestions. And forget the crazy lines and shouting out of names like at your typical ‘bucks. These baristas bring your coffee and treats right to whereever you’re sitting! What service. I definitely see a date with my laptop here in the future. Can’t wait to indulge in the rest of their menu!

I am reviewing the place in general. My tea was tasty but it was green tea… I believe that if your sign says you open at 630 you should be ready to welcome a ton of customers… It was 635 and I was the only customer. None of the food was out in the case, the worker looked as though she had just rolled in from home. I wasn’t sure if there were any food options and she stated. «Oh yeah they are just not out yet.» I love LavAzza coffee usually but this made me sad… Maybe we will visit another time in the afternoon when they are ready for patrons.

Just as close to me as the nearest Starbucks and 100x better coffee! Plus, this place has gelato in addition to pastries(not that any of them are vegan, but it’s not like Starbucks has vegan treats either). Nice ambiance and the location is sort of tucked away, so I wonder if the crowd level stays nice and low, especially after working hours and the industrial parks in the area are vacant. They also have wine here, which is a major bonus. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that the vegan options for fancy drinks are lacking. They do, however, have soymilk(and apparently, soon they’ll have almond milk as well) for a cappuccino or latte.

This place will make you forget Starbucks ever existed. It’s a little hidden which I think is nice. Hipster and laptop jockey free is a big plus in my book. The space is beautiful, easy, and fresh. The staff is über friendly. The coffee is strong but not bitter which is extremely difficult. I had a medium roast drip. The food is not your typical coffee bar food which is what’s great about it. I had the Prosciutto and Stracchino Piadina. Very yummy. Will deff be back. Will deff recommend.
