I couldn’t agree with Mike D(one of the reviewers here) more. Dr. Prasod is a perfectionist. I’ve been going to Maxivision for 7+ years and have recommended the doctor to a lot of my friends. A few years ago, a friend of mine, a basketball player, lost most of the vision in his left eye. Since he had no depth perception, he had a tough time on the court. At times, while playing, he had to close his eyes, and rely on muscle memory(and instinct) to shoot. Apparently, his vision had been deteriorating over a couple of years, and after consulting with several optometrists and ophthalmologists, and taking repeated tests, he didn’t have an answer. I recommended him to go see Dr. Prasod. He was skeptical at first. Long story short, after a thorough eye exam, the doctor diagnosed him with a rare condition(it was the first the doctor had himself seen) and most of all was able to cure it with(refraction) a special pair of glasses(and hard contacts) and no surgery. I remember my friend was more shocked about the diagnosis than he was happy about being able to see again.

Dr. Prasod is a true perfectionist. I have been going to his practice for ±5 years. I feel that he will do everything he can to not let you leave until you are seeing the best that can be. The Dr. is genuinely a nice man and you can see that he cares a great deal about his patients. His staff is courteous and kind and blends a touch of family atmosphere, which is comforting. Time is taken to tune your glasses so that the alignment and fit is perfect. They offer quality products at reasonable prices. I feel they work in our best interest to obtain value. They are now offering whole eye imaging for $ 35.00. This is a bargain! It gives a detailed picture of the entire interior of your eye and serves as a progressive health record. There are many choices for eye care in the area. If you go to Maxivision you will have made the best choice!

Went to this location due to proximity to our home and them accepting our vision insurance. Was pleasantly surprised by the courteous staff and the thorough explanatory way of the Doctor. Will definitely return with my wife and our next annual visit!

A nice 5 stars for the Dr. He is very professional and took the time to answer my questions and he practiced infection control by wiping down all of the equipment before it touched my face The receptionist did not wipe down the eye pressure machine. When it was time to pick out my frames she pulled out 4 trays for me to look at, 1 min later some customers came in so I guess that I was no longer allowed to have time to pick my frames… she came back to stand over me. I felt rushed.

This place is great! The customer service, professionalism, and prices all exceeded my expectations. Dr. Prasod is one the most knowledgeable and kind individuals I have ever met. My entire family has been going to Maxivision for years and we only trust them to do the level of work we expect from our eye care professionals. Our glasses and contacts are always available on time and at very reasonable prices. They accept a large variety of insurances and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful.

I actually drive all the way to Naperville from Chicago for my eye exams with Dr. Prasod. He’s the nicest optometrist I’ve ever met, and the office staff is just as pleasant and helpful. It’s a small office, but they still have a ton of choices, with everything from contacts to prescription sunglasses. They always have deals(buy one, get one free, etc.), and the prices are great! Also, they do a lot of their own lens cutting right on site, so your turnaround time from eye exam to wearing your new purchase is really quick! I recommend Maxivision to anyone who needs some optical assistance.
