Jerry is a fantastic chef who truly shows passion in his cooking. I stumbled in before they even opened and he made me a couple of burgers and invited me back for a full meal at the grand opening.

Very sad. We were downstairs in a tacky version of a sports bar with one extremely overworked waitress, a lame menu and very overpriced low end house wine wine. Sold via a groupon as an Italian restaurant, there was nothing Italian in the menu. It took forever to get the check and get out. A bad night out

My boyfriend and I came in on a Friday night because we had a groupon. We were kind of unsure where to sit(no hostess at this time) and had to flag down a waitress to order drinks. After that first awkwardness, everything was good. We ordered bruschetta, a caesar and a caprese salad, and I had the olive oil and garlic pasta while my boyfriend had the vodka sauce. The pasta they give you is HUGE portions… I mean, you could split it between three people if you are eating appetizers and salad, too. One thing I will say, make sure you ask for little or no salt on EVERYTHING! Everything was very, very salty. By the time we ordered the pasta, I made sure to ask the chef to go easy on the salt, so that turned out fine. PS: I think this place is more of a bar than a restaurant. But maybe that’s just because we came around 9:30 on a Friday?

I found this place on Unilocal and decided to go for something new. I ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrée. This isn’t supposed to be a fancy italian restaurant since it is located in a bar of a country club, but I didn’t feel disappointed by the food. I had the bruschetta and thought it was sweet and quite flavorful, it was a little too wet and the bread fell apart at times. The bread for the bruschetta was the same as was brought to the table for the oil and parmesan. I got the linguine with vodka sauce and it had a good bite to it. I left taking most of my pasta home and felt full leaving. Both of the owners greeted me which may say something about how things are going. .. its still mostly a bar. The bartender was the waitress and you could tell that that wasn’t her main purpose. So do they have a wait staff? The music when there was some was louder than I would like at a restaurant, but wait it’s not a restaurant. So I’d say if you are going for a nice italian dinner this probably isn’t the spot. But if you want to socialize and eat some decent italian at the same time maybe this will be the spot. There was one big TV and not lots like many bigger restaurant /bars have, so while I was distracted at times by the screen I wasn’t all the time.

This place is very difficult to find because there is no signage, and it’s in the lower back side of a building. And it STINKS inside. I walked in and walked out.

I think I have to give them at least one star to write and they did have decent service but the food was awful! I went to meet a large group for a going away celebration. We ordered some appetizers and pasta. The appetizers were the bruschetta and the artichoke dip. The bruschetta was really watery and flavorless, the artichoke dip was mostly just cream cheese with little to no flavor and the bread that it was all served with was so hard that we had trouble even chewing the meal. Now, the pasta, ordered simply with garlic and olive oil, was so salty that I could not really eat much and the garlic tasted bitter, much like the garlic that comes from pre-chopped jars. The hot pasta was put into a cold bowl, which made my food cool really quickly. Also, add on to that the cost of $ 12 for boxed pasta with a little garlic and olive oil and a whole lotta salt and you have an overpriced bowl of food. I was extremely disappointed because it would be a great place to grab a beer or drink and some good bar grub but the menu is lacking. No burgers, no fries, no chicken sandwiches, no delicious things that you would enjoy from a bar. I too want to support local businesses because the restaurant business is extremely difficult to survive in, but the owner needs to rework his menu and lower his prices to match the location, décor and clientele.

Its always nice to support a local, non-chain, business. With that in mind when I received a flyer on my car @ the train station for this new place & I decided to call to place a to-go order. As I couldn’t find a menu online, Jerry(Navarro) was nice enough to walk me through the menu. I will note I had some trouble finding the place, its located in the club house of Country Lakes Golf Course — they have their own door on the left bottom side of the building. The place was empty on a Thursday as they are just getting started, but Jerry immediately greeted me and offered me a(complimentary) glass of wine as I waited! As Jerry was gathering my meal he also offered me some delicious samples. The meal was great, the homemaid sauces were awesome and the prices were affordable. 5 Stars for this new neighborhood spot — Go see Jimmy for some great food & excellent service!
