Rajul’s Bridal Makeup, Hair & Mehendi

Rajul did my makeup for my Indian/​Christian wedding and did a wonderful job! We had 2 appointments prior to the big day. She does both hair and makeup. She does airbrush as an option as well. She stayed for about 8 hours and did a wonderful job. I loved my makeup and hair at the wedding. When the florist didn’t bring the right flowers for hair she still managed to make them work. I highly recommend her. I tried several other makeup artists before going with her. She is pricey but very much worth it! She books up fast.

I had just had my wedding and festivities in California and was due for another celebration/​reception (waima) here in Chicago and because I am not from the area, I had no idea where to go and there were so many places. Well, I googled it and found Rajul’s website! She was AWESOME! I found her a week before my reception right after my honeymoon and she was very accomodating and sweet but I was still not sure about how it would turn out. HER DRAPING, MAKE UP and HAIR STYLE was AWESOME! OUT OF THis world! She did a great job, was professional, was quick and made me feel totally at ease! She makes great suggestions. I didnt even have time for a trial, I just went in blindly but she was awesome!

I know I’m crazy planning my Indian-​wedding-​in-​Chicago in two weeks, but that is not what this review is about! This is about my awesome luck at simply Googling «Indian Bridal, Chicago» and landing on Rajul’s website.
Rajul is very sweet, and will give you suggestions, but never force them on you. She is always accomodating, and makes sure that you are happy, and that you get what you want! What more can a bride ask for :)
I got my hair, makeup (air-​brushed) and saree draping done by her the morning of the wedding and my mehendi a couple days before that. She takes pride in her work and is really meticulous. She has been doing what she does for a really long time, and it is evident in the ease with which she preps you on the final day. The end result is really neat.
And now, I’m so happy with the way I look in my pictures, I can hardly stop grinning! Believe me, you won’t have any regrets. Just go to Rajul!
