I hired Scotts to install my irrigation system in 2008. Those guys worked their hearts out and got the system installed in very short order — through pouring rain and mud nonetheless! Scott checked in on the guys frequently and ensured they and I were OK with everything. Every spring they come to start up the system and every fall they blow it out. Always on time and always professional. The system is totally reliable and I’ve not even ever had to change out a broken head. I will(and have on several occasions) recommend Scotts without any reservation!

We used Scott’s Service in the Spring of 2013. We moved into a home with a sprinkler system that had not been turned on in 3 years. BEWARNEDABOUTTHISCOMPANY Spring 2013 1st Visit — Two men arrived INCREDIBLY late. One started digging in our front yard. The other asked me «Where is the key?» KEY??? I tore apart my new home from attic to basement and could not locate the«Long, thin metal key» they were asking for. The man told me he USUALLY has the key in his truck but did not on this particular day. The man in front stopped digging and we reluctantly let them go after waiting for the entire afternoon for them to turn our system on. Day was completely wasted. 2nd Visit — One of the two guys returned. Got to work immediately. BUT he NEVER rang the bell. I was in the kitchen and just saw him walking around the back yard??? I did not know what he was doing, but trusted he had the key and was doing what needed to be done. Naturally, the visit was not the last one. We had to schedule yet a third to finish the job. He pointed out that heads were cracked and tried to explain what needed further work. I was lost. He was soft spoken with a heavy Spanish accent. 3rd Visit — I requested another technician, one that would actually talk to me and explain what he was doing. This guy was nice and allowed me to follow him around as he told me where the heads and zones were. BRAVO! –We had to pay for labor and parts and Angie(Scott’s girl Friday) was our only connection to Scott himself. I asked for Scott to call me personally to address the fact that his tech caused more work than needed and I did not think paying for their mistake was fair. Fall 2013 I was able to get the original sprinkler service team out to my house to close the system. The guy knew his stuff and he also knew my yard to the tee. He knew the zones without me pointing them out. He had serviced the lawn in year’s prior. He informed me that Scott’s had ripped out the lines and now they needed to be replaced. This will cost me $ 300! I paid Scott $ 600 to get the system running. He ruined the lines and now I have to pay someone to reverse the damage. I called Scott’s and reported the debacle. Of course, Angie calls me back and gives me an irrefutable explanation as to why they ripped out the lines. I say irrefutable, because I am not the expert. I am simply the trusting customer who is at their mercy. They completed work without indicating what they were doing or why they were doing it. I have attempted several times to have Scott personally return my call. To date — no calls from Scott. Part of me is wondering if he even exists. BEWARNEDABOUTTHISCOMPANY
