Terrible rude management and not to mention everything is over priced.
I’m sick of dealing with no know it alls. I’ve been playing soccer my whole life and the way the management treated me was awful and had a little soccer knowledge. When dealing with the business portion of things they lack the intelligence of knowing how and when to have a conversation with a fellow employee. They hire within families causing a lot of controversy and conflict which leads to laziness and inappropriate things at work.

They do not price match!!! They have shoes listed for 155 $ in their store but are 120 $ on
. The lady refused to price match until she «got approval from the store owner» poor customer service!!! I’ll take my money somewhere else.

Soccer Edge has been very helpful each time we go in for our soccer needs. They have helped us properly both of our kids for shin guards and also for cleats. When they accidentally charged us twice for a pair of cleats, they offered us 15% off for our next purchase after refunding us for the amount they overcharged. This is a great store with helpful and kind employees!

i have dealt with the fact that this store is ridiculously overpriced until now. mostly because of convenience of proximity. last week i bought a pair of nike cleats which i wore once on turf. i brought the cleats back the very next day after purchase. reason being the arch of my feet felt like they would break in half after wearing these particular cleats (yes i have worn other nike cleats and have been extremely comfortable in them). the cleats were slightly scuffed but i gave the reason why i was bringing them back to the manager. he said to leave them with him, and he will call me as soon as the owner took a look.
it has been over a week now since i left them. no call, no response…
so i call and arduously explain my situation to whatever indifferent teenager working there. he’s like, «let me check if they are still here.» ??
he comes back on the phone and tells me the owner «left a note saying ‘no’ and you can pick them up.»

Bought a $ 225.00 pair of hypervenom soccer cleats from this store as I have spent hundreds of dollars here in gear. The shoes were worn 5 times in the beginning of the season and the glue was defective and the bottom of the shoe came apart. I was made to drive the shoes back to the store and leave them for the owner to inspect. Days later, I m told come pick up the shoes they will not be replaced even though defective. I am a physician who send players to this store for shoes and this is how they treat a loyal customer. Will never spend another dollar here or send another patient to this store. addendum 4÷15÷2014. Spoke to owner about defective shoes and was told that more expensive shoes have less material than cheaper shoes and tend to separate even when new. I was told «we will make a note in then computer just have your son wear them for a couple of months and see if they get worse then we will reevaluate» Even after spending another 125.00 dollars this week when dropping off the shoes, he refuses to exchange these defective brand new shoes for a new pair. I have sent hundreds at this store and this is how they treat loyal clients. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. WE SPENT OUR MONEY HERE TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE NAPERVILLE AREA AND THIS IS HOW WE GET TREATED.

Called for a base layer top for my daughter. The sales associate said she would call over to their other store and have it shipped to this store for pick up, that I would receive a call in a few days. Never did, so I called the next week to follow up. Turns out they sold the shirt at the other store, then offered to sell me a used base layer shirt (different style – no mock neck, needed in our cold Spring soccer season) for the same price. You’ve got to be kidding me… I“ll take my business elsewhere. I hear there is a soccer store in downtown Plainfield.

Great prices and great service. I stopped by very quickly with my daughter after shopping at Caputos with about 10 minutes to spare til our next errand middle of last week. I needed to buy a pair of indoor soccer shoes in her size that were affordable. The customer service rep. helped us find the perfect shoes, made sure they fit and they were on sale for $ 30. My daughter is thrilled with her shoes. My wallet is thrilled with the price and the service was great. I highly recommend this store. Christina Smith, Aurora, IL
