When I walked in I filled out a short form with personal information, including my skin care concerns. The office is beautifully decorated, and it has a very elegant and relaxing feel to it. I thought it was very nice that they put a jug with citrus water at the front for customers. Within a few minutes, my esthetican arrived to take me back to one of three rooms for clients.
The room reminded me of a Buddhist seminary. It was also slightly warm, so I felt like it could be a good place to do yoga. The room was dimly lit with mood lighting, and it had a long white chair to lay on. When you are getting your service done, you also have the option to listen to some instrumental Eastern music. I really liked the set up in the room.
The microdermabrasion was short but thorough. First, she put an astringent on my face. Next, she used the diamond head microdermabrasion instrument on my face. She used different sizes, and she went twice all over my face. Afterwards she applied a gel. At the end she misted the air on top of me, so the spray lightly fell on me.
I was satisfied with the process. At the end she explained to me the way that I should care for my face. I didn’t have any problems with the skin later, I only noticed a little bit of peeling.
I know there are a lot of places that a person can get a microdermabrasion. At the same time, each salon is not created equal.
However, I recommend this place 100% over other salons.
