Grace Community School of Golden Gate

I don’t even know where to begin. First, I get a call from a family member around 8am to ask if I could pick up her son as he was not feeling well. She asks me to wait a couple hours just in case he starts to feel better so I do. I call at 10am and spoke to the Pastor/​Principal and he tells me he will check on the boy and WILL CALL ME BACK in a few minutes. It is now 11am and nobody has called me back so I call back and I guess I don’t have the right to be frustrated? Anyway, I am told that the boy is fine so I ask to speak to «Evan» and he tells me he doesn’t feel good and told his teacher he wanted to leave. RED FLAG! So I go pick him up and the Pastor IMMEDIATELY starts verbally attacking me and says, «I was very, very clear in saying that IF there was a problem I would call you back.» (which he DIDNOT say) and don’t you think you should call me back regardless? Basically, I am already over this place so I tell him I would just like to pick up «Evan» and he still insists on arguing and I couldn’t get in one word because he would just talk over me. He was extremely rude and very condescending. Not to mention this was about 30 seconds of me walking through the door, and in front of another colleague and a child. This was a conversation to be had iin a private setting. I have never been so disrespected by someone in a professional setting. Lastly, they have the kids sitting outside in the humidity eating their lunches. Call me crazy but they should be in a classroom where they can cool off. I have worked in a daycare before and I would never treat a parent/​guardian like that. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
