Decided to take a trip to Naples from Fort Lauderdale just to try this restaurant for my GF’s birthday. The atmosphere when we arrived around 530 was typical for a Friday at that time. The bar was packed for their happy hour special, a tad on the loud side(hey, it’s Friday right???) but since we drove there to dine, we were seated in the dining area. Interesting décor, kind of industrial, kind of sleek, yet comfortable. We had two waitstaff assisting us and both were so friendly. We ordered grilled artichoke hearts and the deviled eggs for appetizers. Both were delicious, but I would go with the deviled eggs if you had to pick just one. The sugar cured bacon really made this dish. Smokey and sweet is always a great combo. The complimentary corn muffins were delicious as well, the sweet butter making them a great treat. For dinner, we ordered the sea bass and the short ribs. Both dishes were so very flavorful. They were extremely rich. The portion size is small, but for the richness of the dish, it was the right amount. I actually couldn’t finish my meal because it was so rich. We decided to splurge and order dessert, since it was a birthday celebration dinner. We ordered the bannoffee pudding. OMG now that is a tastytastytasty thing! Very very sweet and rich also, but if you get something like this every once in a while, your waistline shouldn’t been too hampered by it. Overall, a great place to go. On the pricier side, but I feel that is the norm for the area it is located in. I would definitely go again.

Awesome experience, food and service was amazing, highly recommend. Started with the mussels, which had a delicious flavor and had the snapper for the main course which was excellent

This place is very cool inside. We sat at the bar and ordered our food to go(we wanted to take advantage of our awesome balcony at the Inn on Fifth club level). We ordered a drink at the bar. The bartender was the nicest guy ever! For dinner we ordered the short rib dish, which has to be the best short ribs I’ve ever had! A little pricey, but so worth it. Can’t wait to go back!

Really liked this place. Good food and large portions. Unique menu and nice to see gluten-free markers. Nice ambience as well. Wish the kids menu was a little more varied though.

It is immaculate and very aesthetically pleasing on the interior. Service is kind and fast, however, I can’t justify the prices for the quality of food one receives. While it is good, it is not exceptional. I will be back for their basil and pear martinis!

Excellent atmosphere! Whimsical and modern industrial are perfectly married inside. We came twice for dinner on our vacation to Naples, we loved it so much! Our favorite was to try multiple appetizers; definitely get the octopus in white beans, artichoke hearts, and the chips! Don’t miss the homemade pasta or the ahi tuna! Great gluten free options too!

Had a nice date night with my bride last night at Hob Nob. The duck and short ribs were really good, service was great and atmosphere was trendy and upbeat. Hob Nob always seems to be busy even during the off-season so I recommend making reservations. But that’s because it’s good.

Excellent! The highlight of my Naples trip! The restaurant feels like it could fit in in any other hipster city, with a reclaimed wood paneled bar, exposed dangling Edison light bulbs, and some funky art scattered throughout. But the real reason to go is the food! I’m still dreaming about my lobster salad and green tea cocktail from my trip. The lobster was fresh, succulent, and they didn’t scrimp on serving it up on the side of my fresh greens. Amazing! Service was staller and our waiter gave us tips on where to go for late night after dinner drinks.

No reason to return as I don’t eat shellfish. My companions raved about the mussels while I ate potato chips for my meal.

We decided to try Hob Nob for dinner based on reviews. It was absolutely amazing! We were seated immediately arriving there for a late dinner(9pm) Sat. Our server, Domingo, was very cordial and efficient. We had the mini corn muffins they bring to the table, delicious, warm, soft, and sweet! The hummus small plate was nice with two kinds of hummus, flatbread crackers and marinated crudités. My husband devoured the sea bass entrée and said he would’ve loved another! I ordered the fresh made pasta with shrimp and bacon in a spinach red cream sauce. It was to die for!!! The mango sorbet was a nice and refreshing end to our meal. The restaurant itself is lively, as there were several bdays being celebrated and people were really enjoying themselves. The décor is fresh and modern with a modern industrialist look; really really nicely done. Will definitely return if we come back to the area!

A+ — This TV Chef Ranks Hob Nob #1 in Naples! Trust me when I tell you that there are 3 ingredient to a perfect dining experience. 1. Food Quality 2. Service 3. Recognition Hob Nob in Naples stuns in every single category! For the 4th straight year my family and I dined at this 5th Avenue delicacy only to once again have our expectations exceeded. Let me just say that’s very difficult for me having ran some of the country’s top rated restaurants and host of a cooking show. Having had numerous other great experiences at this same restaurant, you tend to raise the bar each and every time you return but let it be known … Hob Nob continues to achieve greatness! No wonder they were recently chosen as one of America’s Top 100 Restaurants. You’re first experience is always when you initially call on the phone to make a reservation. The woman who answered was polite and courteous and made every effort to accommodate our availability. As we were wrapping up the call she said, «Can you please hold on a moment, our General Manager would like to speak with you». I thought this was kind of unique but was more than blown away when he said, «Hi Tyler, I overheard our reservationist repeating your name and wanted to welcome you back to Hob Nob». Now that is what I call RECOGNITION! Jeremy(GM) had remembered our family from the year prior and just wanted to welcome us back. Again, it had been a year since we dined there but he just wanted to welcome us back! Blown away! The second impression is when you walk in any restaurant. The two hostesses made excellent eye contact and with a smile gathered our reservation information. Within 20 seconds we were seated right up front under the EAT sign(which in my opinion is one of the best tables in the restaurant) next to the front window on 5th street. The third impression is obviously your server. Now let me say that I have hired and trained some of the best servers in my opinion in the country when I ran top restaurants in the Napa Valley and Brubaker Tucker(gotta love that name) is one of the best I’ve ever seen! Polished, Polished! He had a fantastic and genuine personality, tremendous knowledge of the menu and wine list, was outstanding with our kids(we have 4), provided honest and detailed feedback on the menu, was nothing short of perfect regarding his sequence of service(this means timing in between courses, making sure plates were cleared before the next dish comes to the table, water never empty, and every course marked with new silverware). All of this being done without the feeling like anyone was all over you. He was there when we needed him and provided from start to finish one of the best service experiences I have ever had and that’s saying something. The 4th impression which I have already touched on is recognition During the course of the evening another fantastic waitress named Jill whom we had known from prior visits came over to say hi to the kids and welcome us back. Again, we hadn’t been there for a year! Impressive. Jeremy the General Manager also made his way over to the table to welcome us back and give us some information on new ventures the company was opening and make sure the evening was progressing as expected. The 5th impression(but not 5th in terms of importance) is Food Quality. Once again it was absolutely phenomenal. In year’s past I had ordered the Sea Bass with Coconut Pesto and Jasmine Rice which is always cooked perfectly but this time felt like changing it up to see what else the Chef Tony had up his sleeve. I ordered the Meyer Lemon Short Ribs with Lemon Risotto. Don’t let the Meyer Lemon throw you off as it is a very subtle flavor in the risotto. The ribs were so tender you could separate them with a spoon. That’s the test BTW! The demi glaze was superb and the dish overall was impeccable. We passed on dessert(not because the menu wasn’t great but because the kids wanted to go down the street for some over priced ice cream at Kilwin’s). As we stood up to leave our server Brubaker was right there to say goodbye as was Jeremy the GM telling us he looked forward to seeing us again next year. Now that’s how you wrap up the perfect evening! I can’t say enough good things about Hob Nob and my wife and I have dined at literally every restaurant on 5th ave. in downtown Naples. There are many good restaurants but none that deliver year after year like Hob Nob. I have to believe their mentality is, «Every night is the Super Bowl». That’s the only way you can deliver these kinds of results time after time after time. This restaurant is run by true professionals like Chef Tony and Jeremy(GM) who understand what it takes to achieve a memorable experience and are passionately excited to deliver day after day! Congratulations to owners Michael and Lisa Hernandez! You hit a Homerun with Hob Nob! Until next year … Chef Tyler

This was my first time at HobNob and I honestly couldn’t have been more impressed. We sat down and promptly our waiter(John) came by. He had the Midas touch of recommendations whenever we asked about drinks, apps and dinner. Let’s go one step at a time: Drinks: coconut mojitos and red wine(during dinner). All amazing. I honestly wanted to order every drink on the menu because they all look good. Apps: raw oysters, served just the way you want them with all the fixings. Deviled eggs. Yum, with the bacon these were the perfect app, not too filling. Chips, undersell of the century. These are a must order, home made potato chips with bleu cheese and bacon. Dinner:(apps were perfectly sized to leave room for this). Sea bass and lamb shank. Sea bass was perfectly seasoned and cooked, delish. Lamb shank… my god. Fall off the bone good. A+ In summary, if you’re looking for a good dinner in Naples. Go here, it won’t disappoint.

The great experience started at the beginning of our meal with our server who thoroughly explained the menu and how the food was all made in house. We started with the deviled eggs and Caesar salad. My wife had the short ribs and I had the snapper which were both phenomenal. Very fresh and hot served quickly. In addition the drinks were creative and they made a great«mocktail» for my wife who is pregnant. Definitely recommend!

2 apps in and exceptional service I had to give it 5 stars… Listen people… I am doing my happy dance… The flavors are waking my taste buds and lighting the fire of my life… The muscles, the tenderness… Oh my gawd… The sauce… Can I please have a loaf of bread to dip in that deliciousness? I would drink that sauce with a straw… Holyyyy moly. Not to mention the chorizo pieces sliced thin with the mussels. Is this real life? The stuffed peppers. Stuffed my heart in the best way. The cheese that oozed out… omg Enrique the wait staff immediately noticed there was a wobble in the table and instantly found something to put under the unstable table leg. I didn’t even need to ask. My entrée was AMAZING! I had been eyeing the Meyer Lemon Short Rib for quite some time, so of course that was what I ordered. It was tender and melt in your mouth yummy! It also didn’t seem fatty at all. It was perfect. What a phenomenal meal, the flavors were on point and I now have a new favorite place to dine in Naples.

The place is really nice the food is great! The only observation is a mistake on the desert menu. The«tres leches» is a apple pie. For some reason wrongly call it «tres leches». Besides that is a good place.

I’d love to write a glowing review of this place, but we arrived at 9:17pm and we were turned away for dinner. Their website clearly says 10pm on a Monday night. Oh well. Better luck next time. Or not.

I’m so glad this joint popped up on the Fifth Avenue strip. It’s nice to have a place that’s more low key(get away from the white table clothes) to grab a bite or a beer. They even brew their own in house. Happy Hour is a GREAT deal during the week, especially compared to how pricey things can get downtown. Till 6PM everything is half off. I had their home brew a split some bar bites. I had their chips covered in queso, bacon, onion, and blue cheese. I also tried the arugula mushroom flat bread pizza which was wonderful. The bartender Bob is awesome, if you want to go out for a drink he’s your guy. I love the rustic décor and vibes this place has.

It’s an awesome location. Conveniently located right in 5th Ave in the bustling downtown if Naples. The décor is awesome with the reclaimed wooden walls and tables, large lit up signs and bright upholstery. It’s a very modern, yet Southern vibe! Our server was so knowledgable about the menu, which was really helpful! Food is delicious! It’s pricey, but it’s worth it for the fresh food and unique pairings. I ordered the Ahi Tuna, which is served raw on top of some delicious crab fried rice and a side of Calamari Seaweed Salad. The sides were amazing and went really well with the ahi tuna! I’ve had better ahi tuna, but the dish as a whole was quite remarkable. My boyfriend ordered the Sea bass, which was cooked perfectly(dissolved in your mouth) and had perfect seasoning. It was served on top of some delicious coconut rice that complimented the Sea Bass perfectly. My only complaint was that it was served with shredded butternut squash(in between the rice and fish), which was bitter and really ruined the taste for us. We just picked it all out and it was excellent again!

I love the feel and style of this restaurant. I ordered the special which was locally caught hog fish in a coconut curry sauce. It came with about a ¼ cup of jasmine rice and julienned carrots and scallion. The presentation was lovely and it was good however I feel like price tag on the meal was a tad high at $ 34. Service was great. Friendly and helpful staff. I do look forward to coming back and trying something else on the menu. Excellent environment, staff, location, menu is diverse, definitely recommend.

I seldom give all 5 stars, but this place does take the cake. Everything is baked, made from scratch here. From the corn bread to their ice cream and delicious caramel dessert. Omgsh, love it. Chic, hip, nice staff, great bar, specials everyday, happy hour, semi private room for large parties, what’s there not to like? Comfortable setting, trendy, don’t have to dress up to eat fine dining. Great place to bring friends from out of town or even host a shower or birthday. Innovative menu, they have deviled eggs as appetizers. Plenty of Gluten free items and desserts! Usually I can’t find many GF sweets. This place sits in the hot spot of 5th avenue, you can park at the street or garage, all free parking. Great stroll after dinner, Lots to do and shop before or after. I also get 100 points from Open Table here. Too perfect. One tip for the manager: please clean the seat cushions.
