I guess I am lucky as I have found great bike stores no matter where I ride. The folks here are amazingly helpful and the store is a riders dream come true. It’s my store of choice and I recommend them highly for everything to do with cycling.
This store continues to great with very friendly staff and knowledgeable people. They recommended better tires for my bikes and when I needed new wheels they helped me chose ones that were perfect for the way I ride. You will love the shop

The store and set up is great. Although I found renting an arduous process. The person waiting on me had no idea of how to set up the rental and she wasn’t too versed in math let alone how to charge a credit card. I went in the day before with the hope of coming in and flying right out the door the next day. I called a half hour ahead and confirmed the bikes were ready. When I came to the store the bikes weren’t ready and I had to wait around. After asking if the bikes were mechanically reviewed I was assured they were. The bike I rode had issues with the handle bar stem ball bearings. They were shot and the bike was tremulously noisy. Upon returning the bikes I mentioned the issue with the bearings. The tech took a fast look and did nothing. He returned the bike to the rental lot. It was a Specialized Rode Bike. I hope there are other bike shops to rent from in Naples. I was not happy with this establishment.

OK. I purchased a Specialized Expedition Sport at this dealer on December 29, 2015. This was not an inexpensive purchase. The next day, on my very first ride, I found myself on the concrete with multiple lacerations and a cracked left rib. A good Samaritan scooped me up and got me home. (Thanks, Al and Gerry!)
A few days later I took the mangled wreck to another bike shop for diagnosis and repairs (cost = $ 85). They told me that the brakes ON MY BRAND NEW BIKE were «faulty» and showed me the evidence to back it up.
My suspicion is that Naples Cyclery does not road-​test their merchandise. That’s the only conclusion I can draw from this painful episode. Beware.

I can recommend this store without reservation. I have been cycling for many years and the sign of a great cycling store is their customer service. I recently bought an expensive pair of Specialized road bike shoes from this store and had an issue with the shoes that was 100% my fault. I brought the shoe back on a busy Sunday afternoon and they fixed it promptly and at no charge. This store has exceptional customer service. Thanks

Ekk! I think they are overpriced and try to upsell you on everything in the service dept… kinda snarky attitudes to their customers. I’m going elsewhere. My opinion of course – avid cyclist.

BEST BIKE SHOP EVER!!! Was recently in Naples for a dentist appointment and was interested in a new bike — carbon and all, so I went to Naples Cyclery were I purchased my last bike three years ago and have happily put 11,000 miles on it. Jeremy and the team there were excellent, helpful and filled with knowledge. After going to 2 other bike shops in the area, Naples Cyclery was a no brainer as the place to purchase not 1 but 2 great bikes. Thank you Jeremy, for making bike shopping a lot of fun. LOVE the new bikes by the way!

I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience … every employee knew what he/​she was doing, more than helpful, accommodating in every respect … overall excellent customer service. I hadn’t been on a bike since my days @ Cambridge University, so deciding to rent a bike for a couple of weeks — which then became a month — involved a bit of trial & error (& trepidation) that included bike exchanges, pick-​ups, deliveries, schedule changes, etc … all executed without a hiccup or a hint of inconvenience on the part of any member of their fine staff.

Their webpage indicated they rented running strollers, I called ahead and they said they had one. Once I got there they told me they didn’t rent them and they didn’t seem to have a clue that their web page indicated they did. Not happy at all with naples Cyclery.

Only place in town that knows bikes and cycling. Ask for Frank… he’ll even show you how to improve your riding style. They have fair prices and are extremely generous with customer service and repair service! I bought a fabulous bike and they offer free service for a year.
I started at Trek and they are not nice, not fair, terrible people! They will sell you the wrong bike you don’t want or need! Wayne the manager at trek was rude and condescending. Go the Naples Cyclery!!!

This is some long overdue praise for the crew at Naples Cyclery. I rented a bike for a week back in April when I was visiting Naples from San Francisco. Rather than take my own road bike I was hoping to find a halfway decent rig to rent. Josh and Peter were champs in helping me decide on a Specialized Roubaix, and since I sent my fit numbers in ahead of time, the bike was perfectly setup for me at pickup which took all of 5 minutes.
They also helped me during my visit to find good rides with safe roads, and they invited me to join the group rides which I did. All in all a very positive experience, and I’ll rent from them next time.

Very knowledgeable staff. Rental policy is very clear and it is obvious bikes are serviced after each rental. We’ve all witnessed irrational customers before and I’m sure the negative reviews are mainly from them. Uneducated cyclists should listen closely to their knowledgeable staff to ensure comfort and safety.
I also like to support small, local businesses that are involved in fundraising in their surrounding communities.

Wife and I rented road bikes for 8 days there recently. Customer service was somewhere between poor and couldn’t-care-less. When returning the bikes, I was met with a gruff «what do you need» by a bald man. Halfway through a rental I received a «courtesy call» — it wasn’t to ask if things were going well, but to tell me the bikes were due back by 10 am on the return date.
The bikes were decent and relatively new, but they give off an attitude like customers are an interruption to their day. This isn’t true of everyone — I know folks who have very positive to say about some staff, like Oscar in the service shop — but it was true of everyone i dealt with personally.
Next year, I’m looking elsewhere.

Had a slow day while visiting from out of town. Decided to rent a road bike and enjoy the perfect day. Great store with plenty of stock and rentals. Was greeted quickly and set up right away with a near new Specialized road bike. Excellent experience with these fine folks and great store!
Will come again next trip.

They are jerks! They accuse people of damaging their rental bikes when it’s their fault for not checking over the bike carefully before the customer takes the bike. I believe they do this on purpose to make money unfairly! DO NOT go to this place! I assume their are better bike shops near by.
Avoid the shorter guy with pony tail. He is a complete idiot and wants honesty people to pay for damage that wasn’t done by the correct party.

This shop continues to impress. Fantastic quality, helpful and knowledgeable staff/​owners. We have been to the shop several times — both for browsing/BS’ing and shopping and every time the staff has been great.
A huge plus is their high end bike rentals. We came down without our bikes one time and got set-​up on some gorgeous Cervelos for a day rental. They treat/​maintain their bikes with perfection.
We’ll be back …

Definitely have have a lot of bike and equipment. Horrible customer service. I walked in and looked around for about 15 — 20 minutes never was greeted or asked if I need help with something.

The only bike place in naples with an actual team and a knowledgeable staff. They dont work off commission so they won’t screw you over with some crap bike you dont need. This place is great!
