This was the first time ever attending the festival. It was a wonderful experience. There are hundreds of vendors selling food, crafts and services. The food is great, especially the grape pie and the grape ice cream. We will definitely attend again.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Naples Grape Festival. On the one hand you have a great opportunity to get your hand on some of the greatest Grape pies around. On the other, crowds of people, money trap, long waits to get in and out of the village. Here’s what’s lacking: *Not much(good)entertainment *Everyone is selling anything and everything(junk included) *Crowded sidewalks where people stop directly in the middle without regard to the line of others behind them. *A long drive from the city Here’s what I love: *Views of the lake on the drive down *Views of fall foliage *Joseph’s Wayside Market *Grape pocket cookies from the church in the center of town *Jeni’s Pies are the best *Plenty of(paid) parking at Hazlitt *Wine slushies from Hazlitt YUM! In the past there seemed to be more artisans, but this year it felt like there were vendors just selling anything. It felt overwhelming with so many people crammed in in the sidewalks. I’ll admit it’s a great walk from one end of town to the other. Make your way to the south end to check out Joseph’s. If you’ve never been, it’s worth the trip, just be prepared for people to stop in front of you without warning because they can’t text and walk at the same time!

Can I just tell you how much I love this festival?! I look forward to it all year!!! It’s during the best time of year where the leaves are all beginning to change, it’s an hour drive from home and it’s always such a scenic ride and I enjoy every minute. Starting from Joseph’s wayside farmers market we make are way down and walk all the way to the end, up one side of the street and bAck the other since there are tents and vendors on each side of the street. The wine tasting is a blast, and such a great value. $ 10.00 entry to multiple tents sponsoring so many different vineyards. So many different wines to try, I always learn something new. The food is great! So many choices to choose from and this year had more vendors — awesome! GRAPEPIES… This is the main event folks. You MUST get one, or two! There are tents from beginning to an with different vendors who sell pies. They even have a competition for best grape pie in Naples. Along with the pies they offer grape cookies, grape cookie bars, grape cotton candy, you name it! Great vendor tents with so much variety! I couldn’t stop buying so many different things!!! Crafts, jewelry, soaps, candles, jams, clothing, and even massive yard sales! Bring your walking shoes, there’s a lot to see and explore!

I wanted to love this festival but it was not enjoyable at all. Cheap craft vendors not up to the caliber of the festivals in Rochester. No streets blocked off so everyone is crammed onto the sidewalks. Didn’t see a lot of grape related things at all. Overpriced food. I couldn’t wait to leave

Going strong since 1961, this is our favorite small town country fall festival, idyllically set in the Naples valley. The crowds and traffic can be frustratingly large on good weather days, so plan on taking your time and enjoying the great selection of foodstuffs, crafts and other offerings. Don’t leave without one or more sinfully delicious Jeni’s crumb crust grape pies.

This is an amazing festival — not to be missed. Beautiful scenery during the drive there. people are great, food was delicious(loved the Wurst Haus); we tried the grape pie, grape ice cream and fresh grapes… all were great. Upstate NY at its best!

I suppose I am one of the few people who have attended both the Grape Festival in Naples, NY and the Grape Festival in Lodi, California. While the West Coast’s was a magnitude larger and had Blue Oyster Cult playing the main stage I’ll take our East Coast grape extravaganza any day. Can’t go the full five stars ’cause while the adults can play all day in the wine tent they need more stuff for the kids to do

A old-timey, downtown American food festival… Naples has it all. It was where I was introduced to grape pie(it’s delicious, trust me.) Definitely worth a short drive. It gets a bit crowded, so you may have to park a few blocks away.

The perfect celebration of everything that makes Upstate, NY in the fall so wonderful and special. Totally worth the drive. One of the best public festivals in the country.
