The food is usually pretty good but our server was so rude that we probably will not be back. The service was slow(which is ok) but it was his attitude that ruined the experience.

Went to Poached Restaurants and tried the«Country Benedict». Sausage patties, sautéed onions, mushrooms and cheese on a buttermilk biscuit drizzled with a homemade Hollandaise sauce. I think I’ve found my new fav breakfast dish! #IdontAlwaysEatBacon

It’s not that I dislike this restaurant, it’s just that I don’t *like* it. A few of my co-workers like that it’s close by and that there’s something for everyone on the menu. The food they serve is diner-style, and diner-quality, minus the diner grease. However, there’s nothing overly healthful about the way anything is prepared, and nothing fancy about the taste or presentation. I don’t salivate when I look at/read their menu, the way I do at other places. The décor has no real«wow» factor – and I’m not at all a fan of the price tags hanging from the paintings on the walls.(Kinda makes me feel like I’m being subliminally pressured into buying someone’s kid’s artwork, when I just popped in for a quick meal.) Oh, and I feel like I should mention you have a direct view into the men’s room when sitting in the center of the room … So not cool to see dudes shuffling out without washing their hands as I’m trying to eat. I’ve had a couple of their salads, and an omelet, and will probably be back in the future for work lunches, but it’s not a place I would visit on my own time. Sorry Poached.

Went here for breakfast. Had a healthy egg scramble(broccoli cheese garlic onion) and a side of potatoes which were both solid. OJ was very good as it should have been this being Florida. Coffee was good as was the hazelnut flavored creamer. While not spectacular I would repeat. Appears to specialize in breakfast and lunch.

We ordered the vegetarian Benedict and a special firehouse Benedict, the first with home fries and the second with the hash brown casserole. I had coffee and my wife had water. The hollandaise sauce was really bland, no tarragon or other herb. The eggs were poached perfectly. The home fries tasted like they were first boiled or baked; then fried with old oil or shortening. My special had a «chorizo» patty, tomato, & avocado. The sausage tasted like breakfast sausage with a tiny bit of cayenne sprinkled on it. The tomato and avocado were not ripe and totally lacked flavor. The hash brown casserole was burnt, but had a nice oniony flavor, otherwise unseasoned. Coffee was typical Midwestern weak. Waitress was pleasant and helpful, answering our few questions about the menu.

Nice Restaurant for a relaxed Breakfast. The eggs were great especially the poached versions. One of the few places that know what a soft omelet should be. Plus it had Kilbasa as a breakfast meat. Good service mellow place for breakfast highly worth the reasonable price.

I really want to like this place but the service is so awful and the staff so unapologetic it’s really hard to want to come back. The food is good but marred by the sub par service.

The food here is very good. We were here for breakfast on a Sunday. Very busy but the service is very slow. I could have given more stars but the 45 minute wait for our meals after we were seated stops me. Maybe a week day would be better.

We were seated quickly for a party of 6. Our waiter was actually a waiter we like from Joey D’s and the service was good. The country Benedict, pumpkin pancakes and waffles were all very good. I would recommend this if you are close. Skillets in the Strand is probably better food, but not as nice atmosphere.

The pancakes and omelette were awesome and the service was excellent. They have a large menu and we were in and out quickly. The server even gave us to go cups for our coffee. Great place.

Toast or poached, it’s still amazing! The specials are always changing and are super delicious. The service is always decent, no mater how busy they are. I always take my out of town guests here!

Took my aunt out to brunch the other day and thought we would stop in. Very happy we did, as its so close to our house in Naples. I had the cobb salad and it was a traditional cobb with bacon and avocado, blue cheese. Very tasty and HUGE. Two could have easily eaten it but, I ate the whole thing because it was that good and I coulndt stop myself. My aunt had the eggs benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly and she really liked it. Service, proximity and food was great, will definitely be back!

Poached is our go-to breakfast place. We’ve been multiple times, and have only had great experiences. The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful, but the food is definitely the reason we can’t stay away. The signature dishes that Poached serves up are delicious, and we can’t get enough of the Banana Oatmeal Brûlée! Our whole family loves it here, and we’d recommend it to anyone!

Excellent food and Roberto is an excellent waiter. Just can’t figure out how they make money! Their portion sizes are too big. I can’t believe I’m complaining about that. The half sandwich and salad could feed two people very easily.

I’ll have to come back and try this place again. Service was good and the food didn’t take long to prepare. I only had the toast breakfast so I’m curious to know what the French toast and pancakes taste like. I really appreciated the fresh fruit that came with my meal. It wasn’t the type that’s cut up into cubes and watery from sitting together for so long. Definitely will come back again!

Ok. When the name of the restaurant symbolizes a type of food, or a style of cooking, I expect that they are really good at whatever that is. As the name is poached, I decided to get poached eggs. Very low on my list of good poached eggs. They were really tasteless and watery. I asked for them to be poached medium, and they were as funny as can be. Poached eggs are hard to make, and they don’t do them well, and don’t deserve the title of «Poached». Probably will not go back.

This place was soooo good. We sat outside by the fountain and enjoyed the glorious weather. The fresh squeezed oj was off the hook. I had an omelette with fresh fruit and marble rye toast. The fruit was amaaaaazing… especially the honeydew. My fat boys of course had Nutella stuffed French toast and pecan pie French toast. Everything was really delicious. And our server, Oscar, was awesome.
