Sam Snead’s Tavern at Lely Resort

Service was awful. Hostesses were so unorganized. Tried to go to dinner at 520pm… I wad told wait was 20 minutes. Finally walked out at 605. She kept telling me to wait… That a table is coming. People that came in after me were seated before me and my 2 kids. Ugh. Over it.

Don’t expect much from this place… The steak was super overcooked, but not really the place where you should complain given that it’s just a resto to grab a bite after a round of golf.
The flatbread appetizer was probably the highlight of the entire meal. Skip this place unless you’re starving.

Very loud and not worth the wait. The menu is boring and never changes food isn’t cooked all the way. Your better off eating at home than fight this place.

The other night we had dinner and my lump crab cakes were mussy and my crab cakes were not cooked all the way through. Last Friday afternoon we had dinner and the manager resvered a table in a bar for a lady

In a word disappointing. Pretty place with less than mediocre food. Soggy flat bread, shrimp cocktail that had a mefalic taste. The snapper was bland but not bad. If i were to go back i would stick to salad and burvers and hope for the best.

ordered a ketel one martini at happy hour. all «bar and call» drinks supposed to be half price. was charged full price for my martini because it was «not a call liquor, but a ‘premium’ liquor.» oh, really? hmm, and the waiter never explained that when i ordered it… food mediocre at best.

Foods good great happy hour the main bar keeper Tommy makes you feel welcome. The rest of the staff does a great job as well I just don’t know there name. They put out a good farmers steak for about $ 15.00 that matches most other places at double the price

The food is pretty decent for a local club. Very nice!

Best wings… best fall off the bone ribs! Great bartenders and excellent service. This is the place to go after work to unwind… you CAN’T beat their happy hour anywhere.

Definitely is the best in area besides the Players Club!

Food was OK, I just had a club sandwich which is pretty hard to screw up, and wrap sandwiches looked good. Only complaint is the hours, and I believe they are only open during season. They also offer cheap draught beer which is a plus.

The brushetta was fresh and tasty. I ordered the thin sliced chicken, cheese and nuts salad. My husband ordered fish & chips, kids ordered grilled cheese and a cheeseburger. See pics. The salad was great, exactly what I had in mind. Kids meal were large portion; adults serving. My husband’s fish & chips, the fish (were only two would have been better if it were three) but it did bring fries and cole slaw bottom line was good, the best part was the cole slaw… Our waitress was not good (maybe her first job ever or not as detailed or even slacking on training) but Pam the bartender made up for it (good thing we sat by the bar) by picking up where she fell behind on. Refills, ketchup/​mustard for burger/​fries, a bag for the two to go containers, addtl napkins, small plates for appetizers so we wouldn’t use our napkins… If u go to this restaurant, ask for Pam if you want excellent service. If she was our server I would have rated it a 4 star because the food wasn’t bad. Will we go there again??? Only if Pam is working and will be our server.
