Shane’s Cabana Bar

Cute little place right in the water in your expected upscale Naples shopping center and condo plaza. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming off the water for a beer.
Speaking of coming off the water, along side the bar, there are quite a few boat/​jet ski/​kayak rental places that can turn an OK day shopping, into an awesome day exploring the Naples back water.
Being so close to all these cool attractions, Shane’s is super convenient and a really niche place to stop.
For a mixed drink? Not so much. Absolute and seltzer was more like ice, 2.5 shots, and a splash of seltzer water. Margarita with ice on the rim was a margarita with ice on the bottom… This meant every sip was a mixture between the flavored of a margarita and salt water.
The beer list was pretty extensive for such a small establishment, but one thing that always annoys me is when bars put Sam Adams on the «import» list. I understand wanting to charge an extra buck for Sam Adams but having it on your menu as imports is confusing. Most of the time, I love to start my time at the bar off with a basic IPA and Sam Adams Rebel is a decent choice. I didn’t spot it on the menu because it was hidden in the imports when I was looking at the domestic. Disclaimer! This little discrepancy is just a pet peeve rant and doesn’t affect the rating.
Bartender was friendly, but busy. Maybe this is why the mixed drinks weren’t that enjoyable.
Will be back because of location, friendly service, and delicious/​cheap bottled beer.

Great place for drinks after a boat ride! Quick service with a friendly bar tender. It’s happy hour all day 11a-​7p with really good deals! I’ll be back!

Wow I have never been to Shane’s cabana bar and I will never ever come back ! I have never been so disrespected by the staff ! I went there yesterday with a couple girlfriends as we read the reviews for this place and thought let’s try it ! The location is great and it’s very cute ! As we sit down the bartender is already acting annoyed and rolling her eyes as she is asking us what we want to drink … Her name is Molly. We order and blow it off like maybe she is having a bad day … About a hour later my girlfriend asked her if she could put more alcohol in her drink please because it tasted like straight juice. Molly then grabbed the drink and said «look here Bitches ! I poured vodka up to here then proceed to dump the drink out and make another one and said there you go you ! I asked her did you just call us Bitches ! She said I sure did Bitch then she walked away laughing :… A gentleman at the bar felt bad and bought a round of shots and she then said how pathetic we are to have some old rich guy buying us drinks and then for the third time called us Bitches ! The other bartender at this point came over and tried to smooth it over but never once apologized for her coworkers behavior… She did however buy us more shots and then went over and whispered to Molly something and they both started laughing … We cashed out … As were walking away Molly shouts see you later dumb bitches !!! So yes this really happened the whole bar saw it go down and we will never be back … I was a bartender for 10 years and I would never treat people like that ! It’s unbelievable… Apparently this has happened before because I asked the guy who was bar backing and he gave me the owners name and was not surprised when I said Molly was the one acting like this … She also told us her name was Lisa but we then found out later it was Molly via Facebook so no wonder she said feel free to please right a review about Lisa

I love this little place on the water! Such a beautiful view and the drinks are great! We started out our week vacation here and have been here twice since! The staff is friendly and are ready to anticipate your needs for a drink! Every Time we went up for another drink, the bartender remembered out drinks which made our experience even more awesome!!! We will be back again before we end our vacation!

Shane’s is one of my favorite stops when going out in Naples. It’s right on the water so it’s really nice and relaxing. I have gone back a few times and everyone I have brought there has been satisfied with the drinks and service. Good bloody Mary’s and margaritas. Great place to stop by for a few drinks after dinner or before going out for the night.

2^nd visit much better. Very friendly bartender. Some improvements to the structure it seems. She’ll be the reason for a 3^rd visit someday.
1^st visit details:
It’s just ok if it’s not busy but get a few patrons and watch out. Bartenders are very unfriendly. They can’t keep up. (or don’t want to) They expect to be tipped well regardless of service levels and drink quality. The actual bar is a dump. Drinks are way overpriced. You’re paying for the scenery and that’s where the value ends.

This Cabana Bar contributed to us unexpectedly falling in love with Naples… enough for us to move from the most perfect location in S Beach (were we crazy?), to Naples. We love that the intimate Cabana Bar is on the water, with a beautiful view, and we enjoy watching Executive Jets landing and taking off overhead. such much to take in…
and we have always been treated well by Staff… a bonus is that we we enjoy the music on tap as well as the music venues. We hope it never changes as it is perfect.

I’m not sure I would classify this as a «dive bar». It’s a great place to have a drink and sit outside. Service has always been friendly. You just can’t beat the open air and being on the bay

Love this place! Great spot to grab some drinks, bring the dog & enjoy the view & great conversation. Cool staff always on hand… quite a walk to the bathroom tho ;-)

Don’t look up when you are drinking here! Management doesn’t have enough sense to shut down a day and remove the flaking paint and clean it up… then repaint or better make a fake chikee bar roof with palm fronds… the rest of the views are great… but DON’T LOOK UP!

I love stopping here for happy hr when in naples. I notice this year the place is getting run down and I hope things change soon. Small things like power spray and new paint job will go a long way.
It still is a great location and fun atmosphere and reasonable priced drinks.

Love this place! A great hangout for tourists and locals alike. Shane’s sits right on the water so you can watch the boats and the occasional paddle boarder go by. The downside: they don’t serve food and the nearest bathroom is a bit of a hike.

Shane’s is an EXCELLENT place to hang out under when a fast moving storm approaches. Nothing better than a Sailor Jerry & Coke while lightning strikes 300 feet from you and the rain is coming down so hard you’re surprised it isn’t coming through the roof. Another round? Well, I don’t have anywhere else to go…
When the weather is nice… it’s a bar, its outside, it has TVs, and its by the docks. The drinks aren’t very expensive, and the people are generally very nice. There is always something to watch on TV, and if that doesn’t do it for you, just watch the boats going back and forth under the bridge.
As others have mentioned… there is limited shade seating, but there are tables with umbrellas not too far away, and there is a seemingly endless amount of railing to lean on should no seats be available.
Just be aware — if you are like me, coming from smoke-​free NYC… people are free to light up — and the majority of what is chosen are very large, very slow burning cigars. So mind the direction of the breeze or there is a decently high likelihood that some smoke may be coming your way. Puff puff, my friend.

Correction was submitted to HQ. Another stop on the Bar hop in Naples. We stopped outside for a drink near the water. and soaked in the beauty of the location.
Tables can be hard to find when its busy so keep an eye out on tables that may be waiting for a table at a restaurant across the way.
I’m not sure if anyone really cleans up the tables of bottles or cups, or if it was one of those «see bartender for service.» type places. We ended up getting a table as someone was leaving. They also have patio heaters for the cool Fl. nights.

Good happy hour deals, live music, friendly bartenders and a nice view of the water… what’s not to like?
You have to get there early if you want a seat, but I don’t mind standing and hanging out while looking out at the water. As long as the weather is nice, this is a great spot!

Great location and reasonable prices. Went 20 minutes without being asked if i wanted another drink which was unacceptable, considering the fact that they weren’t busy. Still, this is one of my favorite bars in Naples.

First, I wouldn’t describe this as a dive bar. It sits on the waterfront in Bay front and the location is nice. We have been there twice and there’s never any seats at the bar. We paid $ 11 for 2 drinks. I only gave 3 stars because the drinks are expensive for happy hour, they were poorly made, and I think there are better bars to go to.

$ 3 cocktails anyone? Shane’s offers a sweet happy hour — so sweet, in fact, you’re likely to leave a lot tipsy.
Amazing selection of pinnacle flavored vodkas — all on special for happy hour. I drank myself into a comfortable stupor after slurping up a whole host of whipped cream vodka & OJs. Sound weird? Maybe, but they were delicious — trust me.
Bartender was a sweetheart — and you can’t beat the view. Boats, glistening water and gorgeous South Florida sunshine. Be there!

pretty cheap drinks given the beautiful location, laid back friendly outdoor patio bar with lots of seating and covered from the scorching sun… located in bayfront.
