I went to a cooking class to learn Sicilian food and it was just excellent! As a Mediterranean, I used most of the ingredients you can find in The French Provence, so I was not lost and it was really to smell the flavors of the Mediterranean countries. The chef has a lot of knowledge and stories, the 2H are going really fast. The kitchen is large and amazing, you can use everything a normal chief is using. I will come back for another class. I had a pleasant time!

I went here because i needed a Double Boiler. It seemed as though the staff was confused and a bit out of place. I was surprised that they did not have one in stock as the xmas season is here and it’s a useful tool. if I need something that only they carry, I would go but otherwise, there are too many places around that are less expensive for the exact same products.

Did a lunch cooking class. Chef and staff were so helpful. Food was great. The staff even went out of their way to buy cupcakes for my aunt’s birthday. They went Above and beyond the norm. Couldn’t think more highly of this place!

Growing up in Canada, I used to watch TV shows where they would find the most awesome kitchy gadgets to make the coolest gourmet dishes at Sur la Table… and now that they have one in Naples, I can be a gourmet chef too(or at least look like one :)) This place is a chef-wanna-be’s dream, and is quite the hyper-sensory experience — you are welcomed by the smell of sample coffee brewing, you can easily view shelf upon shelf of all these cool items you think you would never need, and you are greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Sale signs were clearly marked, and they have a wealth of clearance items for the thrifty shoppers. The staff was friendly and not overly friendly. They allow you to wander the store. I had specific items to purchase, and my salesperson knew exactly where I could find them and gave me options. So, if you need a potato brush, silpat, cupcake storage or a le creuset dutch oven, you’ll definitely find it there in hands reach. Pricey items; however, the quality of items sold and the sales make up for it. This store is situated on a prime spot at The Mercato and is visible from the main drag. Parking can be tricky as it is shared with the Whole Foods parking lot and typical Mercato chaos. Be sure to consider signing up for emails. They keep you posted on local events such as cooking classes and they keep you up to date on sales.
