LA quality and great prices. Fresh. Amazing guacamole. Generous portions. No BS, authentic Mexican food, something most tacquerias fail at. Don’t let the fast food environment fool you. You won’t find authentic Mexican food like this in the heart of town, or even in many cities. Nice staff too.

We ate there for lunch it was so good best tacos ever!!!
We went back for dinner we got steak burritos SO GOOD!!! They were very large stuffed full of steak pieces cheese, cabbage, and onions! We also got a side of Mexican rice also good. We payed extra for salsa it was fresh tomatoes, red onions, and cilantro really good.
We will definitely go back!

I would give this place 5 stars but the bathrooms are pretty disgusting. However, it doesn’t keep me away! The food is by far the best in our opinion. Their steak/​fajita burrito is so juicy and flavorful! They use cabbage in place of lettuce, which we love because it doesn’t get soggy. Thier chips and salsa are great too. They only have mild salsa, but you could add some of their homemade hot sauce to spice it up, from what I hear its quite awesome! We love the refried beans. They are pretty plain tasting, but thats how we like them… and they don’t use lard in them, so their vegan if you order them with no cheese on top. Staff is always friendly. They have many regulars. If you sit on the patio, you can catch a game on the tv at the bar right next door.

My daily taco joint is having serious issues!
After returning in Nov 2015 it’s clear things are going downhill.
The lovely cashier (Maria?) is no where to be seen and a seemingly gruff cook in the back mumbles your order in Spanish distain.
My large order is ready, pork/​chicken tacos, quac and fresh salsa, cheese enciladas.
All barely edible.
So much carbon (burnt black) in the tacos they taste like charcoal.
The guac is poorly seasoned and seems «thrown together»
The in house hot sauce tastes bland and no twang. This is the hardest change as this old sauce was incredible.
Enchiladas were horrible.
Judging by the recent reviews, this may have been a one time time, hopefully that chef is gone or has changed his entire approach.
I used to this joint EVERY SINGLE day while in Florida, but after this experience, I didn’t go back. I will head back again in May and give it another shot. I hope my experience was isolated!

I would eat here all the time if I lived in Naples. As it is, I just make sure I stop by every time I visit.

Good food at good prices. Highly recommended are the barbacoa and fish tacos. I can only recommend the shrimp tacos once they start de-​turding the tacos. Gross. You might want to think twice before you serve your customers shit filled shrimp.

Thanks to the helpers for the reviews of this restaurant. We were looking for a easy fast dinner and found this awesome taco place. The restaurant isn’t fancy. However the food is authentic, very fresh and had high quality ingredients. This isn’t your cheese and sour cream topped American style tacos. From the special menu we ordered a ceviche tostada & a shrimp tostada, and from the regular menu a shrimp soft taco and a taco combo plate with Baja style fish tacos. The ceviche and shrimp tostadas were amazing. The fish tacos were also great and the refried beans and rice were good but not phenomenal. For the price we couldn’t beat it, all this food cost us under $ 20. If you’re in the neighborhood of Naples Florida you definitely should check out this restaurant.

Had 4 tacos for 6 bucks on Tuesday and all were amazing. No frills, just quick, good food. Holy smokes. Why isn’t this place in Atlanta where I live? I’d be here 4 times a week.

I have never been to Mexico but, if I had, this is what I would imagine traditional authentic tacos to taste like. I tried the Carne Asada Tacos and they were fantastic. The meat was tender and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. The sides of beans and rice were also very good. Basically everything you would want from a Taco.

In Canada we hardly get Mexican food, so I was very excited to try a great local Mexican restaurant. This place popped up on Unilocal and was close to our hotel. I tried the chicken enchiladas to go.
Upon arriving at the hotel and digging in, I was not impressed. My dish still had the cartilage from the chicken and lacked flavor. A total disappointment. Then, to make things worse I felt really sick the next day.
Not a great experience. But, I will give another local restaurant a try before the week is out.

Great stuff! Definitely need to try this place.
Sometimes the best food places are small and hard to find (not always) but this is a perfect example of a hidden gem. Basically a walk up to the counter and order food place with some seating.
One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to so far in SW Florida. You don’t need to go to a sit down or fancy place because they are not as good as this dive.
Burritos were amazing. The couple different tacos I tried were big and tasty. The chips and guacamole were delicious.

Very solid! I love when queso, guac, etc is served in a fried bowl. Tacos were awesome and cheap ($.89). Chicken taco was really original with grilled and diced chicken. Signature hot sauce was delish. Check this place out.

Came here with a craving for a chimichanga after first trying it recently in CA.
My bf ordered tacos which he said were delicious and fresh. My chimichanga was also delicious, although I wish was a little crispier. Maybe ask for extra crispy next time? I also started looking through pictures afterwards and found pictures of my same order that looked way crispier. Will give them another chance ;)
The hot sauce, which you have to ask for sec to required refrigeration, is amazing! Don’t forget to ask for it.
Small place but provides outside seating. Try to avoid prime lunch time, the line goes out the door

Hey, this is my 300th review on Unilocal!I’m picking Tacos Ardiente on purpose because I just liked it that much.
It might be the lack of cheap, good Mexican places where I’m from, but I was really impressed with this place. Hungry after a long day of travel, we ordered a selection of tacos and the guacamole and chips. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the prices were surprisingly low. A hearty portion of guacamole and chips was $ 4.25 or something. We liked it so much we went back the next day for dinner.
All in all, we probably tried every taco variation, the guacamole and the chicken mole, and it was all good. Add in their homemade hot sauce and the unique soda selection, Jarritos, and this place hits all my sweet spots. Cheap, fresh, fast. Hard to find anything to complain about here. The «spicy» mole was not spicy enough for me, but I feel comfortable giving this place 5 stars. Wish I had this place near me.

For the price, this place serves up some pretty decent food. I ordered the taco tuesday special and a baja taco. I liked how the hard shell was thin and crispy, and the filling was well seasoned. The flour tortilla was standard. At a dollar and change for two hard shell, ground meat tacos, I really don’t have much to complain about. However, at 2.50 ish for a baja taco, they totally skimped out on the fish. I think there were 3 – 4 small and thin pieces of breaded fish, which had more breading than fish. Otherwise, the flavor wasn’t bad overall.
