Silver Tides

A great spot to enjoy perusing some lovely handmade silver jewelry.
Stumbled upon this eclectic shop before grabbing something to eat next door at Crazy Burger. They were open for a gallery night and light was spilling out the front glass windows… so inviting!
Inside, the exposed brick and clean lines of the open space offer a great backdrop for the jewelry and the local hung artwork in the adjacent gallery space.
The shop owner, Amber, was warm and welcoming. Must of the silver pieces are hand-​crafted by Amber with a couple other local artists represented as well. She specializes in unique stone jewelry — picture jasper, herkimer diamonds, quartz — captured in fine .925 sterling.
There are also some cool stationery, clothing and fab accessory items (helloooo, super cool, mod white frame shades!) here as well.
The pricepoint for most of the jewelry is right on target for the caliber of product…$ 50 up to a couple hundred for some larger pendants. It’s not silver plate… it’s solid.
But-​that being said you can definitely find a unique gift for that special someone (like yo-​self!) for under $ 25.
Delightfully unique shopping down in ‘Gansett that deserves more than just a quick stop. I know I will be going back… and soon. Adore this new fave find of mine!

Each piece is very unique and a lot of the jewelry has a really cool flair about it. I absolutely love the combination of the stones and swirly metalwork. This is one of those places that I would send my boyfriend for a gift for me… haha! Because seriously, he could get me anything from this place and I would love it.
Even the boxes for the jewelry and the bags for this store are super adorable.
They share a space with an art gallery and it’s really cool in there. The store/​gallery is kinda hidden away and you have to know where it is to find it. I know I drove by a few times before I found it! Don’t skip on this place, it’s totally awesome.

A unique blend of gifts at this place with a definite focus on items that are handcrafted. Amber, the owner, is exceptionally cool and has a hip, timeless sense about her that is reflected in both the jewelry that she designs and makes as well as the other offerings she features in the store. I walked around and found a number of things that I knew my wife would love — so yes, I bought them. And I was right.
How many gift store /​jewelry boutiques do you know of that share space with an art gallery? Pretty neat.
A little off the traditional beaten path in Narragansett that is definitely worth stopping at.
