The staff is great, not one complaint about them. Him on the other hand, if I had a buck for every time he said he was going to do something but didn’t it would’ve all been paid off. He had to come out at least 6 times just measure a small hallway. He asked if I could do all the prep work for him to keep the cost down which I appreciated but at least don’t make me feel like I did it for nothing. It’s not like removing old ceramic tiles and grinding everything else down was fun. Yes you guessed it, no call no show either… This ended up being the case for a few of my friends as well. There were serious imperfections with the hard wood and the carpet. I mean really who forgets to secure a hand railing to the floor before you wrap the carpet around it. and then refuses to fix it. I got swept away. I could go on for a long time. I recommend everyone stays as far away as possible.

I discovered The Gregory J. Home Design Center when they were calling for art. I’s a great opportunity for local artisans to exhibit their artwork for sale. Gregory J. Home Design Center is a family owned and operated store that specialized in kitchen & bath and flooring(e.g., tiles, carpet). They have a wide selection of custom counter tops(e.g., granite, quartz, soapstone, marble, hardwood, etc), fixtures, and hardware. Some of our favorite items include the wood looking ceramic tiles, marble fireplace mantle, and basins. They offer a lot of unique items. However, they only ship locally.

My husband and I had looked at several flooring stores. We even had someone come out to give us an estimate on an install. The people that came out said they had no experience with railings(we have a split level and the living room has the stairs leading down) and was not even sure it would look good. Wow, what a great feeling. I’m spending all this money and you can’t tell me if it’s going to look good. Luckily, I took a chance on Gregory J Flooring. From the moment we walked in we felt so comfortable. Not only did we get an amazing floor, a beautiful install, but the woman working there also helped me pick colors for painting and even how to decorate. I was so thankful we found them. This was right before they moved from Broad St. to Amherst St. I have to say, I was very impressed with this company. I’ll definitely go there again for any of my flooring needs.
