This man saved me from having knee surgery that a Lahey doctor thought was«critical and urgent.» Ha. I don’t think so. He’s also highly ethical — he says he wouldn’t want to be a physician for the Patriots because they shoot players up with steroids so they can play even when they shouldn’t be playing. And he’s personable, to boot. You don’t often find orthopedic surgeons who are actually friendly. I really like Dr. Macey and I’m hard to please when it comes to doctors. I think he does everything from the hip down, so if you have bone/joint issues from the hip down, I very highly recommend him. The only negative thing is that he’s super busy, so it’s hard to get in to see him. But he’s super busy for a reason… because he is highly respected and everyone refers their patients to him. His practice fairly recently relocated to palatial offices that rival any medical office you’ll find in the Boston area.
