My fiancé and I visited this location for a quick dinner on our way back to MA last night. I’ll start by saying this store is dirty. The bathrooms were filthy, no soap or hot water. We sat along the high top table with the fish tank in front of us. Halfway through the meal my fiancé noticed his seat felt weird. It happened to be smeared with dry sauce or something of that sort. We both got Big Macs, and we are both sick to our stomachs today. I’ve never experienced anything like this, so we are quite disgusted. Neither of us can fathom have anything from any McDonald’s anytime soon.

We visited this place the other day as we were in the mood for McDonald’s and just so happen to be in Nashua to visit some other stores. Parking was easy and ordering was efficient. I didn’t have to wait long for our sandwiches to come out. It was pretty average compared to the other McDonald’s that we have visited.

I am absolutely disgusted. Look, I know Mcdonald’s Play Places aren’t the cleanest thing in the world(far from it, I’m sure). But I am disgusted. I had an hour to kill between my kids’ appointments today and it was too hot to go to the park, especially with a 2 month old in tow. I decided to go to McD’s for an iced coffee so I could sit down with my baby in the AC while my 2 older kids played. We weren’t there for very long. I was feeding my baby and something told me to look up, and I’m glad I did. just in time to see my 2 year old stick a half eaten chicken nugget in her mouth that she had found on the floor of the dining area in the play place. It was 10:00 in the morning, and they were still serving breakfast. so who knows how long that nugget was on the floor since it obviously wasn’t from today. I went out and spoke with the manager. Me: May I ask how often you clean the Play Place? My 2 year old just put a chicken nugget in her mouth that was on the floor. Manager: We clean the dining area daily, but the tunnels get cleaned monthly Me: Well. it was on the floor in the dining area, and it had to have been there since at least last night. Manager: Oh, I’m sorry. Me: –goes to leave– Manager: Was there something I could help you with? Me: Uhh, nope. Just thought it was digusting. –walk out– Silly me assumed the tunnels would be at least cleaned weekly, maaaybe even stretching it to biweekly. But monthly? I can only imagine how much bacteria accumulates in a month’s time in there. I also noticed a small drink cup in one of the sections of the play area that was see through, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it’s possible some kid brought it in there that morning. But after our nasty nugget encounter, who knows how long it was there. Thankfully, we don’t go there to play often. The last time was 1+ year ago. But after this visit, we won’t be back. Not even for an iced coffee.

This store is very inconsistent in the interpretation and flexibility of the options.

I know it’s fast food, but come on, McDonald’s…you can do better than this! The parking lot has so many potholes it’s hard to navigate. It looks like they were attacked by a squadron of F-15’s with all the craters in the parking lot. There were 6 cars in front of me at the drive-thru and it took 15 minutes before I could place my order. The kid at the pickup window must have been in training, but the trainer was just standing there not helping him. When I finally got my food, I nearly spat out the French fries they had so much salt on them. I think I will use them to melt the ice on my walk instead. Not a pleasant experience.

$ 1 medium iced coffees. Why doesn’t every franchise do this? No issues with this restaurant. Quick service, and decent priced ice coffees(wish it was more convenient to my house…) All in all– not much to say other than job well done!

I was at the drive-thru on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at about 1:00PM. Getting into the parking lot is tricky when you enter by Silver Drive. It’s a small lot with twists and turns. I needed a GPS just to find the drive-thru window. Perhaps, they could get a traffic cop to direct me right to the window? Entering by DWH side is a little easier. The gals at the drive-thru were nice. You know the type, «Have a great day». Personality is appreciated. I mean, you are paying for it. Literally. The drive-thru wasn’t that busy and moved along adequately. I ordered my usual, of course, cheeseburger, fries and a diet coke. I am not on a diet. I just like the taste of diet coke. And, even if I was the burger and fries would definitely blow that diet out the window. I speak from experience. The food was hot and fresh. I even received a napkin and a straw without asking. Imagine, that? Trick-or-treat! I did have to ask for the ketchup and salt. If you don’t ask, you will not receive. I guess they ration the ketchup and salt? Once you drive away if you don’t have your condiments, you will have to be without. Boo-hoo. Or, maybe you are really, really smart and have extra ketchup, salt, straws and napkins stashed in your vehicle. If you have all these things you may be a drive-thru addict. It’s okay if you are a drive-thru addict. It happens. I am an «undercover» drive-thru addict. I don’t carry all the extras in my vehicle. And, I never, never tell anyone how often I frequent the drive-thrus. In conclusion, tasty fast-food and a terrible parking lot. «See you at the drive-thru!»(see my photo) Indoor playground.
